Hi im after a debloated stock rom gti-9505 to suit an Australian gs4.
what are my best options as ive looked at a few and seen stuff like knox etc that i have no idea as im only new to rooted mobiles etc.
basically wanting a clean cut rom with no junk but standard preferably android 4.3 i dont mind if its got stuff like secphone etc loaded in it.

Hi all, have found alot of information but im still stuck...
Purchased my SGS 2 on the weekend from Optus AUSTRALIA, and typically it is loaded with optus bloatware. I would like to flash a stock rom onto it that has no other crap. Not interested in custom roms at this stage until more development has been made.
Have found a list of all the roms but i just need to choose the right one.

If you're wanting to get rid of the bloatware can't you just remove it using titanium back up? As for roms, if you're wanting a stock rom I'd say XXKG6 is probably your best bet?

Thanks for that, I was thinking of using the KG6, have it sitting here waiting to flash. I just need to find a telstra CSC that will go with it.... Any ideas?

Sorry mate I couldn't tell you. Probably best to go to the XXKG6 thread and ask there. Good luck. If you decide you want to try any customer roms in the future try Lite'ning 4.2. I've switched to that and can't recommend it highly enough. ALOT faster than stock
Can i ask something stupid? I am a newbie in android phone and when i bought s2 i flashed it without backup the stock rom, now i m using lite'nin rom v1.05..it occasionally crush down..i wan to restore to stock rom, can I? thanks a lot for your help first...thanks thanks

I'm rather new to the S4 scene, but I'm no rookie on rooting. I was wondering where can I find the NG5 software (Rooted/unrooted) for the L720t.. I'm already rooted and using a different stockish rom (SuperS4 v1.6), but I really want the benefits of Wifi-Calling and the other new features. Does anyone know where to look for the installation steps and download?

Hey guys I was given this phone and it's full of bloatware I can't uninstall (running android 5.0.1). I noticed the model number of this specific type of s4 was only released in australia with optus/virgin? I have read other parts of the forum trying to find out if it is safe to put a custom rom on the phone, but all links are dead to files needed. Can anyone out there point me to a custom rom not full of bloatware that will work on this model phone? Also I have read there will be problem with the modem aswell if I do flash a custom rom on it.

Are we talking about TouchWiz custom ROMs or normal custom ROMs?
I don't know if TouchWiz custom ROMs will work, but this should work on your model.

Sorry for my n00bness. I've been searching for answers but came up with nothing. I love custom roms, but cannot get Android Pay to work, obviously because of the Android Safety net. So my question is, could I put on a custom rom like (Batman is a great one) then once the rom is applied, unroot the phone back to stock and then use android pay? Or does android pay still detect a foreign firmware?

I'm guessing since lollipop is newer than the phone, rom dev has slowed down quite a bit and there hasn't been a debloated lollipop rom put together.
I'm looking all over, and can only find individual guides to deox/debloat your existing rom, but nothing prewired.
I bought an S5 (Sprint g900p) off eBay (new) and it came with lollipop. However, I've had some sketchy behavior and ads pop up so I question the integrity of the stock rom I received.
If there isn't any modded stock roms out there, can someone point me to where I can grab an OEM stock rom from a secure vendor? I want to make sure the rom I have isn't compromised.
