I have an hTc hd2 windows phone which was updated to android a couple of years ago
Now the issue is that it crashes when i switch on the bluetooth
it got switched off yesterday due to battery issues and when I switched it on the bluetooth had been automatically turned on due to which it keeps restarting
i cannot hard reset it with the key combination and i do not see a menu which would enable me to enter the boot loader, etc...
any solutionssss?
Reboot your phone and keep pushing power button and boot into MAGLDR and there should be option 7, Hard Reset. This will wipe all your data and you will have new Android like it was on day one. If this not help I will suggest to reflash your phone with different Android and do a full formatting with Task29.

Hi all,
A few days ago I started to have a problem with data synchronization in settings, mainly whenever I try to open it the phone restarts, leaving me without possibility to switch on/off data sync. I've tried with widgets but to no avail.
What I did after the first time it occured, was just a factory reset from recovery. It worked but after a few hours the situation repeated. I really don't want to reset it again... I've tried to fix permissions from recovery but it didn't help.
Any thoughts ?
I have a 2.1 stock ROM with enabled fastboot and clockwork mode recovery. The phone is rooted now, but it happened both when it was rooted and when it was not.
I am have been facing some kind of weird issue from past few days. It made me reset my phone for bringing it's life back.(HELL)
I am on stock CM12 with stock kernel.(Didn't root)
Issue:
♦After regular usage(hardly 10-20 apps other than stock), kept it aside. When I tried to access mobile later, I unlocked the mobile, the capacitive lights at the bottom (Key guard) lighten up but screen was not awake.I waited for some time, but the problem persisted.
♦I pressed the power button for few minutes and mobile restarted. The screen worked until Cyanogen boot logo, the OS booted up, screen was kind of on for 5 seconds and the problem started again. I made many restarts but couldn't get rid of it.
♦Later I booted into recovery, wiped cache hoping it could rectify the problem but it made things worsen. After rebooting from recovery, the OS was now stuck on Cyanogen boot logo.
♦It forced me to wipe data/factory reset mobile from recovery which made the mobile work but with it's sole lost(Data).
It's quite frustrating issue as I faced it for the second time today in few days.
Please help if anyone knows whats the problem.
hi...
I'm really desperate, my phone is suddenly dying and I have no idea why, I'll tell you from yesterday what has happened:
- I'm playing a stupid game and suddenly the screen goes black. No led, phone doesn't answer any button, nothing. I hold power button, nothing. Remove battery and put again, nothing. After some attempts phone turns on, but just after starting it reboots or stays frozen.
- I decide to change the rom (I had simpl rom), so I do a full wipe and put CM 12. It seems it works, but when I'm in the settings, at the beggining, I don't even have time to put the wifi, it starts rebooting again and/or not responding.
- Desperated, I install via odin the stock firmware from Sam Mobile. It seems it's gonna work, but when the dialog of "Android is upgrading -- Optimazitating app x of XX" it always gets stucked in a number, randomly. I never get to the 230 apps.
- As a last chance, I try Kies to install factory firmware. The same as before happens, but now it's only 17 the number of apps it tries to optimize.
These last 2 times, of course, I enter recovery from time to time (now the default one) and wipe cache partition.
My phone is agonizing, what the f is happening? Does anybody know what could happen?
Please help...
Good day! I wanted to ask how to remove the bootloader for zenfone max (the old one 2015 model) without using the app from ASUS as I cannot really use my phone. It boots then restarts. I already tried Wiping/Factory Data reset and Wipe cache with the Power and Volume down (Is it Recovery mode?) but still bootloops, by the way when I factory reset, my phone showed "Unknown volume for path /factory". My friend told me it could be that my OS was corrupted. So here I am wanting to unlock the bootloader so I could install OS for my phone.
**Note1: Sometimes it would boot to the "Welcome!" screen, then when I reach to the Wifi selection, it would always restart.
***Note2: This bootlooping happened when I restarted my phone because my wifi suddenly couldn't connect. After I restarted, it looped.
Noob here btw. Sorry and I would be glad to provide additional information if needed be.
Hello everybody,
two days ago, my Mi A1 just spontaniously restarted while running.
But since then it is stuck in the "Android one" screen. With multiple restarts, I finally manage to get to the unlock screen.
If I then enter my pattern the screen changes to "Android is starting", but after two seconds the phone restarts again until I'm at the "Android one" screen again.
So I can't enter the actual system.
I can enter the stock bootloader and also fastboot, but I'm not entirely sure what I can do there (except a factory reset).
I also tried to enter the failsafe mode (by hitting the shutdown icon longer in the unlock screen), but the phone just normally restarts as mentioned early. I don't seem to get into that mode.
My suspicion:
For a few months I'm running out of disk space. Because of that I couldn't install all the big updates lately. I suspect, that the OS somehow forced an update that failed because of the space issue. At least this is the only thing that I notice lately what could explain the situation.
Do I have other options to resolve my problem, except a factory reset?
My last backup is two months old, so I would survive deleting everything, but it would be way better if I don't have to
Do you guys have any hints for me?
regards and thanks in advance,
koala
I was getting nervous and just did the factory reset.
And it seems to have worked just fine.
Some data is lost though.
