Hey guys,
I've recently rooted my I9500, mainly to remove Samsung bloatware.
After I deleted the bloatware, I came to notice that I no longer have the Samsung Keyboard.
I probably deleted it or its related files by mistake in the /system/apps folder.
Any way to restore it? (without reflashing the rom)
Maybe someone could upload the necessary files so I could copy them into my device?
I running 4.3
Thanks in advance!
Hi,
search for SamsungIME.apk in the forum
Maybe someone can make a .zip for you
Better use swiftkey from playstore..:good:
it depends,
for me, stock keyboard is well

Can anyone make a backup of the stock system/apps folder with all the "bloatware" apk files. I made the mistake of deleting them instead of renaming, I need to get the original apk's on my phone so I can update! I've been looking/asking all over with no luck!
Thanks!
Im also looking for this. I backed up my apps, had a noob moment and accidentally deleted some of the backups while trying to get rid of the original.
Google "Fascinate System Dump"
http://forum.androidcentral.com/fascinate-roms-hacks/32839-fascinate-system-dump.html
Thanks! The systemdump had exactly what I was looking for.
Sorry I'm extremely new at this, what do I do with this file? I've deleted the clock application on accident while deleting the other clock widgets and want it back, but I'm not sure how to install the files once I've downloaded it onto my computer. Also considering to unroot to get the update. Please help.

Well I was trying to follow the instructions from here to turn off the auto conversion from sms to mms whenever you enter an emoji. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2472009&page=5
Long story short I ended up with a non-functioning SMS app, and I accidentally deleted my backapp while I was moving things around. SO I guess what I'm asking is if people can give me a copy of there SecMms.apk for kitkat 4.4.2 (Ive tried adding previous versions but that doesn't seem to work). It should be located at the system/priv-app (you have to be rooted to access it). Thanks guys.

I'm using the stock Samsung n9005XXUEND6. I don't know how to extract it from the rom, If you can point me to a simple guide and a little more instructions that would help a lot. Or if you have a compatible SecMms.apk that would really make my day.
Factory reset is not an option for me, as I have not made any backups, and I have too many apps and setting for me to wipe my entire phone.

you can copy the rom to your desktop, and just copy it out... you need rootexporer or esfilemanager with root access, so you can copy it back to system/jpriv-app,
if you look on my signature, I have a thread in the dev section, on Samsung galaxy note 3 and tmobile note 3....
I have the roms for various N9005 phone... and the firmwares....
okay, I had to rar the file, it has the secmms.apk and secmms.odex if your using stock rom... both the files are in there... :good:

Thank you! This worked perfectly! And also another thanks for actually telling me about ES filemanager. I've always used it, but never knew it could access root files. Thank you very much.
Can someone upload the swype.apk from their /system/app directory. I deleted it a while ago and I recently rebooted and found the custom padlock on it and...well I dont want it there . Please and Thank You
P.S. I know I can sideload it but I want to make sure its the stock version and stuff to avoid any more trouble.
