You will probably have to load a ROM that has those functions built in.
No idea what CGM 11 is but if you mean CM11 then no you can not install any Samsung apps, nor will you get any Samsung TouchWiz related features. These features and apps are ONLY for TouchWiz roms. These will not work on any AOSP based rom.

Install a stock rom, either via Odin or use any of the custom stock roms for your device. Go to your specific devices Android Development section for the SGS4, not sure if you have the I9505 or I9500 or other variants of it?

It's a 9500, I am Brazilian, but I bought the phone in the U.S..
I appreciate your work, when I had a Galaxy S (i9000) my ROM was a CM.
But I really want to have a camera that works, air gesture, air view, samsung apps, etc..
I can set up a stock rom by clockwork recovery mode?
Where can I find stock ROM and as I'm sure it will work on my phone.
Thank you very much.

This is my first message on here, I took the plunge Tuesday and rooted my Samsung s3 with CyanogenMod 10.1 and very happy with it but must admit I was nervous in do so but it was easier than I thought, well my question is on the Samsung stock JB 4.1.2 apps I had GroupCast, allshare and paper artist etc, I was wondering if there is anyway of getting them onto my rooted phone now, I have search on the net and cannot find anything, well tell a lie I did find one person who had extracted the apk's and all you had to do was download them and change the permissions which I done but did not work now he thinks it might because of 4.2.2 on my phone now. Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
Jeff
Majority if not all Samsung apps won't work on aosp/CM as they require the TW framework to function

Not specific to slim bean, but there are a few things you have to check:
1. Is your ROM odex or deodex. The camera here is the odex version.
2. I think you will have a lot of FC trying some of the features unless you also grab seccamera.jar from the framework.
3. Many times the camera is also tied to the gallery, so you may also need that apk (and all associated files)
If you still want to try to install this and see what happens, you need to open the zip and use a root explorer app to put the two files in the system/app folder. You may also need to fix the permissions after copying. After that, restart the phone and see if it works.
EDIT:
Even with all the extra files I can't get it to work, there are probably other modifications that need to happen before it would work on a different system.
There are quite a few libraries needed (18 libarc*.so and at least 10 others), so it's not an easy port.

Can't get it to work though, maybe it has to be a Sammy based rom?
Was kinda hoping I could port it to aosp.

The camera (as well as a number of other features such as IR Blaster, temp/humid sensors, etc.) require the touchwiz framework in order to work. This means that they will not work on ANY AOSP roms. This includes, AOKP, CM, Slimbean, etc. They will only work on roms that run a touchwiz framework.
As far as porting goes, it would require a ton of modifications require access to drivers and libraries which samsung has not made available in order to complete a port. Nothing is impossible so I won't go as far as saying it won't be done, but it will be extremely difficult and time consuming so many developers have been discouraged from even attempting this. Only time will tell if we'll ever get these things ported.
Thanks for sharing the your info on this, I won't be sitting around waiting for a port sometime soon then!

It is ok, but the Samsung Camera app is way better.
A massive pity really... I may dump Google Edition, or perhaps find a 3rd party camera that can do the Picture-In-Picture feature.... which I love.

Hiii can i grt the app i searched alot for it really alot i have s4 i9500 but i flash it with slimkat rom and i miss the stock app
Hi all,
I'm new to android & I'm equally frustrated about the lack of internal storage. I'm on a 16GB S4 I9505 & like many users, out of box storage is limited. I would like to know if there's a custom rom that works well despite being clean, smooth & allows better battery life than the stock JB 4.2.2.
I've tried using Titanium Backup to try removing bloatware like S Health & ChatOn but the list is too long to carry on removing one by one. Not mentioning I do not have much knowledge about android & am worried that if I removed the wrong app, might screw up the phone itself.
Therefore I'm searching for a clean custom rom which is debloated, runs smoothly & give me more battery life out of the device.
I tend to browse the Web, text, watch videos on YouTube & maybe just some games. Any recommendations would be welcomed & please help me by providing more information such as what bloatwares are removed etc as I might still need some of the basic apps.
Regards.
Try the CyanogenMod roms. They are fully clean and pretty fast. Before you flash it ,make a backup of your phone/ rom so you can switch back to it if you don't like it.
--edit: you can find those roms in the official galaxy s4 i9505 development forum.

+1 ^^
If you dont wanna loose ALL the samsung/touchwiz features then above is a good option.
If you like stock rom, BUT find its usually just a little to slow/bloated
And also like the ability to flash custom kernel/recovery then the rom's in the link posted above are really nice.
You could do all the things to the your base rom to make it the same as the ones in above posted link, but the 1 file flash via odin is so convenient for most.

Hi,
ME3 is the latest version.
Sent telepathically from my S4
I recently installed and played with Task650's AOKP ROM, and loved the stock jelly bean apps like phone, contacts, and messages. However, I have some circumstances that made me flash the stock firmware back. I would really like to have the stock Google apps instead of the stock Samsung ones, is it possible to install them on stock firmware? I tried to restore via Titanium Backup, but to no avail.
Also, I really enjoy the IR blaster feature, and noticed it was not functional on the AOKP ROM, will it be supported on any future ROMS. Or are the device drivers kept under Samsung lock and key or something? Will the Google version coming out have a firmware that supports the hardware? Pending its ability to do so, will that firmware be available to install on ATT devices?
I am a first time Android user as of a few weeks ago, and am not looking back. I realized that all of the features I had to jailbreak and tweak on the iPhone are available easily! I've been scouring the forums and soaking up as much as possible.
Thanks
when you install aosp-based firmware, you then have to immediately follow that up with flashing gapps (usually posted in the dev's thread) to have the stock google applications.
some of the touchwiz features, including IR, are not available on aosp.

my bad. gapps packages are for aosp roms. google apps are generally included in touchwiz roms. if there are specific ones that are not included, you can find them on the google play store

You're not looking for the gapps. You confused "Google apps" with "AOSP system apps made by Google". There's a thread in Themes and Apps for running CM10.1's mms.apk on TW. Minor bugs introduced. I'm not sure that I've ever seen AOSP dialer/contacts running on TW, but search around. If people have gotten it working on other devices, then there's hope.

Check the t-mobile thread. I remember seeing some stock based roms themed to resemble aosp. They used the mms and dialer apk from aosp.
