Plastic screen cover shattered - PLEASE HELP

Hi All
My plastic cover on my beloved HD has become shattered, I have peeled it off and can see that it looks like it could possibly be replaced, but it is hanging on with a ribbon cable.
The LCD part of the screen is absolutely fine, THANK GOD
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP
Has anyone replaced this ? do you know where to get a new one ?

I found it on ebay. its a full housing cover for the hd

I don't think that's what he means. But you can't see a front picture of it if it includes the plastic layer, damn photos!

But that would do it though , its just the plastic screen on the front of the phone, not the actual LED, but yes, that would do it.

The front of the phone/plastic part is the digitizer or touch area. You can buy it but haven't seen it.

They sell the lcd screen and de digitizer. the lcd screen is NOT the touch sensitive part, the front(plastic) part is. So this could become very pricy.

xolo x900 screen digitizer

Hey guys, I broke the screen digitizer of my xolo x900 and need to replace it. My LCD is absolutely in pristine condition. There is no problem with the LCD at all. I just need to replace the glass of my phone.
The call center guys says that I need to replace the entire lcd and digitizer both and it would cost me Rs 6000/- approximately (what a ripoff).
Could anyone help me with an alternative or help me get this sorted at a cheaper rate?

Even my Xolo q800 digitiser is not responding! I bought a brand new digitizer but couldn't fit as service guy said we need to change both LCD and digitiser. do anyone have LCD for XOLO Q800?? Also is it possible to find any other mobile LCD of higher specification than the original which can fit my xolo q800?? need expert advise!

I would recommend to re-flash a stock rom. Usually that fixes problem.

There's a few reasons. Part was faulty/not genuine. You broke the part when installing. You left the touchscreen disconnected. Board or connector issue (hopefully not).
That's probably it.

what happens is there is a piece of tape to insulate the digitizer connector , stupidly enough they made it out of aluminum foil from covered with some kind of regular tape and when i replaced it prob the tape that covered it tore so it was not insulated so i replaced it with tape and now its working great !

My grand's screen has broken. I can use the touch and phone but the glass has cracked !

my phones digitizer also got cracked once...i got it replaced from samsung for Rs 2k..within 2 days...u can always get to a samsung care..to solve these kinda problems...

[Q] HARDWARE Please look at my photo and tell me if my phone can be saved

OK I'm an idiot I destroyed my digitiser when trying to do a screen replacement on my S4. Can someone please have a look at this pic and tell me if (apart from the broken digitiser) I have damaged anything else that would make digitiser replacement no longer viable?

It's not just the digitizer that's toast, but the AMOLED screen as well. Those cracks near the upper right are where the screen itself is broken. With damage to the screen you're going to need to purchase a new midframe with screen and digitizer already attached to it. I don't know how much you spent on your glass, but the midframe and screen are going to cost about US$150.

That is precisely what I meant. It's the entire screen plus the midframe. You'll need to pull all the sensors and other small bits off the bad screen/midframe and put them on the good one, as the replacement part doesn't include the sensors. iFixit should have a breakdown guide you can use that should be of help.
