I read the forum and didn't see any information.
Is it safe to flash ROMS from the general note3 forum or must I stick with ROMS from the Verizon forums??
Thanks.

If your phone is a retail Verizon version, then you can only flash ROMs that include the stock Touchwiz Verizon kernel, from this forum. If it's a Developer Edition, you can flash anything you want.
It's the retail Verizon version. Does that mean that another tw Rom other than Verizon versions can be flashed safely?

Flash back to stock, then yes or to root. To flash custom roms we need a bootloader work around or unlocked bootloader

Wish it was as easy to unlock as my old phone which is still pretty new (Galaxy Note 2) Adam outler made it very simple with his Creation of Casual one click. Thinking of returning my note 3 and going back to my note 2. Wish there was a DEV edition of the note 3.

Not everyone who roots flashes a ROM. I root so I can use battery saving apps that need root to force close some system apps. I use some apps that require root for a firewall or call blocking. Have you ever wanted to freeze pre-installed apps, or even delete then? This list goes on and on.

I'm currently thinking of flashing this rom on my S4: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2520418
I current am rooted with the MF3 update and have Safestrap installed. My phone is unlocked with RegionLockAway. Will this rom work fine on my setup with Safestrap? What are the steps I need to take to install this?
It is a Verizon ROM... There would need to be some serious tweaking/mods done if I am not mistaken.

I flashed this rom earlier and it worked for me. Im currently on MF3 with Safestrap installed. Just be sure to download the ATT Compatibility pack from the rom's thread and MF3 kernel modules included in the Safestrap thread and flash them after installing the rom.

Questions should go in the Q&A section not general.

Hello,
I would like to switch from Hyperdrive to Cyanogenmod. I did a lot of research but still don't feel confident about doing this without a confirmation.
Can someone please confirm the link below is the most updated version for my Verizon Note 3? What is a nightly build?
http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?device=hltevzw&type=nightly
Also, can I use Safestrap to install Cyanogenmod which is what I used to install Hyperdrive?

Sorry if this has been asked before but I've been reading for a while now and I'm still confused. I have the 720t with 4.4.2 kk and nc6. What roms can I install without losing spark? And can i use older roms like ne2 or? Thanks.
