thanks! installed it already... it's working fine! although part of the first letter of the week is off (approx a third is not showing)... it's probably because im on 360 dpi...

I rooted and reflashed my Hero months ago. Now I want to install the origilan HTC ROM on it, but when I try to do the first update, it doesn't work. I think it's because I replaced the recovery with the one that allowed me to have other ROMs on my Hero. Where can I find the original ROM zipped so that I can update it, or restore the original recovery ROM?
Can someone help me?

I'm using a mod to make the statusbar look like IOS but the creator of the mod have chosen to disable the volume slider. Does anybody have a IOS 7 statusbar mod where the volume slider isn't removed? or can someone help me edit the lgsystemui.apk and re-enable the volume slider?

I replaced the apk in "system/app" in this zip (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2523551) with the file and flashed through CWM afterwards.

I must be VERY old, as I still remember the times, when newbies were kindly asking for something....
They were not messing the XDA forum with their mums shouting that their pampers is full and therefore they request replacement...
So I wanted to test some modded .apks but I get a package opening error when installing those .apks and that means I have to disable Signature Check for them to work. How do I do that??
