dear sirs how to unplug the phone from pc on windows 8.1 or xp does it neccessary to eject the phone in taskbar before unpluging or direct unpluging permitted if we do it any damage to phone ?

HELP!
I'm a new to PPC. I've got an O2 mini, I charged the device well just now, but now when I connect the device to my computer, always says that the USB device is not operating well and windows can't recognize the device. Is there anyone could let show me what's wrong? what should I do? Thanks!!!!!

Is your USB cable plugged into a front USB port on your computer??
If so, try plugging it into the back. Some front USB ports do not have enough power to recognize the MDA Compact, and you get that same "USB not recognized" error. Most back USB ports are powerful enough.
uninstall activesync ... reboot system install again ! should work
the comupter may of just seen the modem side of it it happened to me you need to go into your hardware file on your pc and delete any modems you don't recogonize (carefull you don't delete the wrong one (i exepct no responsibility if you do)) and then re install active sync v 4.1 fom microsoft site. then plug it in again good luck

If computer is coming up with 'device unrecognised' I usually found that a reboot (of both PC and Uni) was the only way to solve this. Once PC had not recognised the Uni it would not be persuaded!
What do i need to do to connect my touch2 with the computer with windows 7. I dont have any software cd when i connect it the pc beeps (like every time u plug in something in to the usb) but i cant see the phone in my computer.
you have to download and install windows mobile device center. i'd find a link but kinda busy at the moment. but search for it. it's free.

Is it possible to connect the phone, while its in android.. to debug my programs using eclipse?.
When i connect the phone its like.. absolutely no reaction from either computer or device (X1 running this: http://bit.ly/df8zXB)

Solution found !
1- connect your phone to your computer (IN WM!)
2- Start Haret.exe
3- Wait for Android to fully bootup (you will notice that it has detected that the phone is connected (debugging and usb icon has showed up))
4- You will now see in eclipse that device "000000000" is connected. but its offline
5- to resolve that, Simply unplug the usb, and plug it in again
I can't connect it to PC . I mean , i conncect the usb cable to my phone and my pc ... my phone shows that it is connected to my pc ... but there is nothing happening . I mean the PC doesn;t find the my phone. What should i do. Ty everybody! Sorry for my english
Well,may i know on what OS are you trying to establish USB connection? WM/Android?...For WM, have you installed windows mobile device center on your PC and tried syncing? As for android,try installing the right version of HTC Sync on your PC. Also, ensure you tick 'USB Debugging' under Settings-Applications-Development. For a few android builds, there will be a notification, prompting you to turn on USB Storage after you connect the USB cable. You have to try all those first before moving on to advanced troubleshooting like manual driver installation,android sdk,hard rest,etc.
