I love my RegawMod ROM...but I can't STAND the dialer.

When I had a G1, the dialer was so nice on it... I think it was a wysie dialer? Anyone know how to change this?

I downloaded nubDial from the Market, it's way better...

That's because you haven't seen or used this yet....

Actually... you could try this. This tries to emulate the Nexus/Droid dialer. I've used it and it's actually pretty damn good.
You need to go the market and search Dialer One, install and test it out. You might like it.. you might not.

Which one is... "this" one? Are you talking about the screen shot posted above? If so, yes -- it will work on the CDMA Heros.

Sorry, noob mistake. I should have been more specific. I was actually referring to the dialer linked by RavenII. I clicked on, but it appears to be for the GSM Hero.

By replacing that box in framework-res.apk..change it to a smaller one that fits ur theme....

i think you need to edit an xml,
or make that button smaller,
sadly i dunno what button that is,
i have similar complaints about that in my rom,
its really not a big deal

It's not.The content area of the 9 patch pngs,ie popup_bottom_blahblah.9.pngs is not enough.Just make them a little bigger.

Why transparent taskbar only with stock wallpaper on Galaxy S4

I noticed that we get a black taskbar everytime we use non-stock wallpaper. Why is this so? It it possible to have a transparent taskbar even on custom wallpapers?

Why are you getting so worked up? It was just a question. Jeez.

I'm using Apex launcher, which allows a transparent taskbar with any wallpaper. And it's smooth as butter.

Nova also allows transparency with any wallpaper (gotta select the option)

And there's a mod in the Themes & Apps section.

Samsung mentions this somewhere.
They've designed a few wallpapers to have a transparent background but anything selected by the user goes back to black because otherwise the taskbar would be difficult to read.
