Sure can bud... Here is a link to my guide that you should follow.... If you did you would not have this problem. There are two ways that you can fix it manually and automatically. The automatic way was just updated onto my guide today but is for windows only. The manual way is right under that update for individuals that want to do it to understand things better or on a different os on their pc... Good luck and if you have anymore problems, you can feel free to pm me and I can either walk you through it on irc or teamviewer....
DONT FORGET TO HIT THE THANKS BUTTON IF I HELPED YOU PLEASE!!!!

Which version of kindle fire utility did you use? You have to be sure that it is ver.0.9.1 because the version before that there was a problem with the twrp file in older versions of the kindle fire utility.
Also are you sure that your battery was charged before you started to do this?
Like I said if you continue to have problems I can get on teamviewer with you and show you how to reinstall the drivers manually so that you can access your adb shell to change fastboot. Just pm me if you have anymore problems and need someone to do it for you..
i used the last version of kindle fire utility 0.9.1 and the battery was charging, I believe that now is completely discharged
I'm installing latest version of Windows XP on vmware, if you want to help me after I would be grateful...
sorry again for my bad english

I sure will make sure that you get teamviewer if you do not already have it. When you are using windows xp make sure your .android folder is in the proper place
C:\Documents and Settings\YourUserName\
Just making sure that your .android folder is in the correct place. It should be though if you installed root and android market already though.
nothing, now the kindle fire don't start enymore i think the battery is over.....

I have same problem and I was tried all knowed "guides and How to" for unbricking my Kindle Fire... . But solution is so easy!
Let's try http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1428428 ... choose option 1-Stuck at boot logo... and after that when the app ask you "Does you have FIREFIREFIRE" reply no... .
I must use this app twice because at first try app doesn't do anything... . But now my Kindle finaly works!
tobias,
io ho il tuo stesso problema: hai risolto??? Se si mi dici cosa hai fatto?

hello
i was tried this http://rootkindlefire.com/kindle-fire-root/kindle-fire-root-new6-2-1windowsmaclinux/ to install TWRP recovery but after Step 14 now i'am stock in KF logo and my pc doesn't show me if there kindle fire unknown drivers or somethink like that
now i want make my KF like new KF..how ??
i already see this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1356257 but i'doesn't understanding any thing from the GUIDE
EDIT: i'am in 6.2.1 with root
sorry for my bad english
The instructions say that the Kindle will hang on the KF logo, so I am inclined to believe that if you did everything correctly up to that point, you are still on track.
Reinstall the drivers (you may wish to use the http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1399889
as this includes a batch file to reinstall the drivers for you, and then continue.

Please help, a minute into trying to root my Kindle Fire I "bricked" it!

Finally tiring of the stock Kindle Fire OS and wanted a more robust tablet experience I decided I wanted to root my Kindle Fire and install an ICS ROM. Here is how I messed up my Kindle Fire.
1. I downloaded "Kindle Fire Utility 0.9.6
2. I extracted the RAR
3. I ran "install_drivers" and they installed perfect
4. Hooked up my Kindle Fire, it popped up saying found and finalizing some drivers and then a window popped up showing me the contents of my Kindle Fire.
5. I ran "run" and it brought up a menu saying "ADB Status: Online" so I chose option 2 "Install permanent boot with superuser"
6. It said it didn't find "twrp" but it would download it
Here is where I ran into a problem, it must have started to do something to my Kindle before it got to this point. For some reason KFU was unable to download "twrp" as it keep erroring out and trying again. After 15 attempts I decided to close the DOS window down and unplug the Kindle Fire. Now my Kindle Fire will not boot, it hangs at the "kindle fire" logo. I can hold the power in for 30 seconds and shut it off but it will not load boot up, it just stays at the logo. I can plug the cable in with it either off or on the kindle fire logo but the PC never recognizes it. I even when in and the driver is still there and installed properly.
Why would it start altering my Kindle Fire if it can't get TWRP downloaded? What can I do?

To me it sounds like you Bricked your kindle, There are numerous tutorials on how to fix this. I found the easiest way was to use Kindle Fire Utility and if it says the boot mode is 4002, To switch it to 4000, And it fixed mine numerous times.

but are you sure becuase i actualisate my kindle with the kindle fire utility and get stuck again a long time
Try this:
Open CMD > Navigate it to your ADB directory, For me I do "CD C:\KindleADB". > Type "adb devices" and post the result. If it doesn't show your device, Try typing "fastboot devices" and posting the result.
