Strange bootloop
I let my gt-i9505 charging normally and gone sleep...
When i waked up, it doesnt start anylonger...
But its very strange...
It was rooted and with a custom rom for 6 months already, all working.
Now it only turn on when connected to the charger, even so, it only boot to Download Mode, all other modes cause it to reboot right after the model name appears...
The battery is charged 100%, tested on other phone.
Unpluged from the charger, it gives no life signal at all...
I flashed original rom, new recovery, pre-rooted rom, full-wipe original rom... Nothing makes it even enter on recovery...
I believe its not hard bricked since it always enter in Download Mode without problems...
I have knox 0x1 already.... i was in 4.4.2, didnt tryied to flash anything before 4.3...
Anyone know what could it be?
I've used ODIN v3.09 and Heimdall... Flashed a lot of different roms, recoveries.... Nothing works...
Without the charger, it dont even vibrates when i try to turn it on...
With the charger, charging led is Off, but it vibrates and try to boot...
If i let it boot normally, it goes to a black screen with a grey battery at the center, inside the battery a freezed loading... after that it reboots... and it keeps doing so...
If i try to boot to recovery, it reboots as soon as it shows the yellow text at the top...
Download mode, always boot, odin and heimdall work normally... no error messages
Power button doenst seems to be stucked...
The battery is charged, but when i unplug from charger, it turns off no matter what...
My head is already in pain here... PLS, anyone know anything else i could try???
+1 begging for help.
What to do if reflashing stockroom with pit-file doesn't work?
I think I have brick my LG-e615 L5(Dual)
Here's what wrong did I do to reach this situation:
I was happily running a jelly-bean BHEK BHEK rom that I flashed through CWM.
I don't what got into me and I downloaded MIUI ROM for L5 E612 and flashed it.
But before that I took I installed Rom manager ( for making a nandroid backup) which had one more CWM in it. I think it some how made to CWM's and that's where the problem started . I booted from the CWM of the ROM manager, because I couldn't load my earlier one, from the reboot menu and flashed the MIUI Rom .
Now whenever I start my phone it would dispaly the LG LOGO followed by MIUI Logo and It would show the Jelly bean shutting down screen and shut down.
I tried wipe through adb that too didn't helped. I think now I can't even connect adb.
Whenever I connect my phone through USB it would show a charging screen for 3 seconds then LG logo and this goes on forever.
What should I do. Please help. I am really scared . My parents are going to kill me..!!:crying::crying::crying::crying:

I was trying to root my Galaxy Note 3, KitKat, SM-N900T with Odin 3.9. Everything went fine and I got the PASS! message. I disconnect the phone and I expected the automatic booting. That never happened. The screen started to flash the RECOVERING ROOTING (blue), RECOVERING IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING (red) and SET WARRANTY BIT : RECOVERY(yellow). Nothing that I did after that worked to get rid of those messages. I wonder if my new phone is bricked now or if I have a chance of recover it. Taking the battery out and putting in again plus holding all the buttons doesn't stop the messages from flashing. Please help!

Thank you for the suggestion but no idea how to do it with a phone stuck in the booting screen. Any help on how to get rid of it? Once that is done then I can proceed with your steps.
Take the battery out, put back in (dont turn back on)and hold volume up, home and power button. It'll take you into download mode.
Then flash your stock ROM via Odin

I tried that many times. It doesn't take me to the download mode but again to the screen I mentioned. Frustrating!..
It just keeps bootlooping you mean?
Keep trying to get into download mode, might be that you're catching the power button first and powering the phone back on.
Can you get into recovery ? Volume down and power/home button.
You should be able to get to one of them at least

Try this.
Remove and put battery back in, don't power on.
Hold Vol Down + Power + Home Button all at the same time until the warning message comes up then let go of the buttons. Finally press Vol Up only and you'll be in download mode. Connect phone to usb.
Flash this CF Auto root courtesy of Chainfire thru odin. Not sure if CF updated it for 4.4 but one poster said it worked for him on his Tmo.
Optionally flash a custom recovery cause you will have a stock recovery after rooting.

I had the same issue, I did as you said, but now I am stuck at RECOVERY BOOTING... RECOVERY IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING Set Warranty Bit: recovery.
(it never shows the orange pirate rooting guy)
however, against all judgement I tried it with the sm9005 instead of the sm900t file and it passed into the orange pirate root guy, however it gets stuck at the boot logo, do you guys have any Idea what could be wrong?

HI there, guys! I just read the whole thread and maybe you can help me also! I'm facing a less critical, but similar problem.
I use Omega ROM (Android 4.3 yet) and just after a reboot my device is stuck at boot animation forever. The only thing I did before rebooting was freeze S Finder using Titanium Backup (after it was enabled again because Samsung updated it a few days ago) and move some apps to SD Card using Clean Master.
The critical part is that I can't enter Recovery Mode to try to solve wiping caches because my Reactivation Lock feature is enabled, so I can't access it.
Is there anything I can do except from flashing stock ROM over Omega itself? I can't lose my files on internal storage. There are pretty important ones! =/

Did you try and flashed rom again ( odin) ?? another option would be to flash (odin) a custom recovery see if it let you enter it and do a factory reset ..only problem is it will trigger your knox bit to 1..
@lloop: Are you completely stock, or did you attempt to install a custom recovery? The behavior you describe is identical to the behavior witness by myself and others when trying to install TWRP 2.8.5.0 on the S4.
One other thing that might help here. On occasion I've had the device get stuck in recovery. Going into download mode, cancelling download mode, and then holding down the buttons to go into recovery often works.

Hi
What model S4 you have? what stock rom you flashed ( version number)? and what custom recovery you tried to flash?
I've spent all day fighting with the boot loop on my A500f.
I had the phone running really well with Ahmed's Resurrection Remix ROM on this post:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/sa...om-resurrection-remix-5-8-2-sm-a500h-t3572062
He doesn't detail TWRP installation, so I used DeadSquirrel's 3.1.0 post here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/sa...overy-twrp-3-0-2-0-samsung-galaxy-a5-t3439233
I hadn't seen that TWRP can be installed without root, so I rooted with Chainfire first. I'm not sure, but I think I got the Chainfire file from this post:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/sa...-to-root-galaxy-a5-a500fu-lollipop-5-t3137613
The file I downloaded for the A500f is "CF-Auto-Root-a5lte-a5ltexx-sma500f.zip" (contains tar.md5)
The post says it is for Lollipop, but the instructions say this is a Chainfire root zip for Android 4.4.4. One post suggested this might be the cause of my boot loop.
The instructions say that this Chainfire Auto Root solution also contains a recovery file, but I was never able to boot into this recovery, so I went directly to installing DeadSquirrel's TWRP. I was able to boot into this recovery. From there I installed the Resurrection Remix ROM. WIthin the ROM, I installed SuperSU from the Play Store, but SuperSU informed me the phone was not rooted, so I flashed the SuperSU root zip from their website, which I believe was the file, A500FXXS1CQC2_A500FOJV1CPH3_XFE.zip
SuperSU now reported root was present, so I installed WiFi Connection Manager from the Play Store, granted it root access in SuperSU, and used the Fix Problems menu item to repair the wifi shutting off the phone problem that I was originally working on. That fix worked well, so I left the wifi on and ran YouTube on Autoplay for about 4 hours. Deciding the problem was solved, I gave the phone back to my son, and he brought it back to me dead 5 minutes later. I'm not sure if it already that the boot loop problem at that point.
The phone would no longer boot. I noticed a seandroid enforcing notification, and thought it might be a security issue preventing boot. I found a thread that said I needed that flashing back to a Samsung ROM would remove the seandroid notice and that I needed to update to Android 6.0.1 before installing TWRP to solve the boot loop issue. I went to Sammobile and found the newest ROM for my A500f was the A500FXXS1CQC2_A500FOJV1CPH3_A500FXXU1CPH2_HOME.
I installed this in Odin, and the phone has never come back to me since then. I've made endless retries throughout the day, trying different combinations of the Chainfire root, different versions of TWRP, and different root methods, but all to no avail. One post even suggested that if you flash factory ROM from Odin just once, it will create a boot loop, but if you flash twice, it solves it, but it didn't work for me. It's also gotten increasingly difficult to get into recovery. Whether in stock ROM or TWRP, I was only able to get in about 10% of the time. Boot loop behavior has varied between boot logo - vibration - black screen and battery charge logo - vibration - black screen.
I found this thread that is supposed to address the boot loop problem, and I tried these versions of root and TWRP, but it didn't help:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/sa...overy-samsung-galaxy-a52015-sm-a500f-t3360802
At the moment, I'm on stock ROM. On power up, you get the Galaxy A5 screen, then it vibrates and goes black, then the lightening battery logo comes up, it vibrates, and goes black, and then the green battery status logo comes up, and then the phone goes black. It's also booting into stock recovery okay, and I can do the recovery functions. I just can't boot the phone.
So now, I try the instructions again in ashyx's TWRP post. Now I can get into TWRP. I power up and the phone sticks on the Galaxy A5 boot screen for a long time. Then it vibrates and repeats. It's basically the same as above, but there is a long delay before rebooting instead of instantly as before. Now I go back into TWRP and flash the Resurrection Remix ROM and the behavior is the same. Power up and get the Galaxy A5 boot screen for 8 seconds (this time sporting a warranty bit: kernal notice), 2 seconds of black screen, vibration, battery/lightening logo blinks on, then off, vibration, battery/lightening logo blinks on then off. Black screen, then standard battery charging percent indicator. I did that three or four times to make note of the behavior. Then the power switch wouldn't work, so I used the technique to press the volume up and down key together with the power key to turn it back on. Now it is in a non-stop 5 second cycle of vibrate - flash the icon - black screen that won't quit. Throughout the day I've been stuck with this in both stock and custom ROM. Only once during the day did I see the custom ROM boot all the way through. The stock ROM has never booted.
Now the recovery key combination won't boot TWRP either. The key combination just makes the Galaxy A5 screen flash instead of the battery icon. But I can get into TWRP by rebooting with the recovery key combination on leaving Download mode.
If anyone understands what's wrong here, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks
If I were you, I'd flash an older version of stock ROM with Odin, reboot with factory reset then I will let Samsung Smart Switch to upgrade my phone. After that I will notice the CORRECT version of ROM...

Thank you. That did the trick. Going back to the original factory ROM of Android 5.0.1 brought the phone back to being bootable again. I wish I understood what is going on on the low level to cause these things!
