Hello
I have a simple question.
I might be wrong, but im writing this because i dont think i noticed it before.
In the stock video player app, when you press the volume keys while playing a video, where on the screen does the volume slider pop up show up?
For me, it shows up in the very bottom of the screen in the middle. In both horizontal and vertical views.
Is this normal? Because i could sware remembering it being in the top-middle portion of the screen...
Can anyone go and check in the stock video player and see where your slider pops up?
Thx in advance..

Hey folks:
I have been looking for days to turn off the little sidebar app with all the shortcuts. I can't find the app to disable or the setting to turn off!
Any one know how?
Thanks,

Try long pressing the back button
It took me a while to figure out as well. If you want it back long press it again (multi window must be enabled)

Or you can use the Multi window button in notification panel.
Question: Can you force the home/back keys to stay on screen at all times? Like say if you go into the camera the buttons disappear. Is there a way to force them to be on all the time?
Yeah mine are on all the time.

They don't disappear on mine. However on mine the icons turn into dots sometimes, like in the camera. Not sure why.

Buttons stay or go away based upon the app you are using. Camera...they stay on. Netflix or any other video, they go bye bye. Varies by app I believe
Hey guys I recently bought the Lux Auto Brightness app which dims your display according to your environment. I would like to dim my hardware keys because when I'm in a pitch black room the keys are still bright......Any ideas would be awesome. Thanks

Up to my knowledge you can only shorten the duration of the back lit keys or turn them off completely. Settings>Display>Touch key light duration. I have my keys to not lit up at all and i like it.
i dont see that option in display

Hi

The one in front lights up..

Yes it has. It is particularly visible when you turn on the phone using knock on. I haven't found a way to manage it though. Lightflow can't control it.

It's a dumb feature to point out but I found it by accident and liked it: you switch between the back and front facing cameras by swiping left/right on the screen.
There is a LOT done with this device to make it easy to operate with one hand.
I hear a lot of people complaining about their screen tint color being warm or yellow. I have not this issue but go into accessability and there is an option to change screen hue and saturation

double tap the notification bar and it shuts the screen off
Hold the volume down button when screen off to launch camera. Volume up for qmemo, you can change the action in g3 tweakbox
