I had the same issue with the new modem not sticking. The only way it worked for me was to flash it 2 or 3 times in a row. Seems like this is not uncommon. The new modem did help fix my data drops so it's worth the trouble.

Did you buy the phone brand new? -
Download ODIN and reflash your Stock ROM completely see if it fixes it.
Take it to Samsung or if you find someone with a Z3X box or SPT tool not to sure if octopus has a full working IMEI repair yet :^)

go to sammobile.com for firmwares, they have every fw released for any phone..
as for unroot, delete busybox, then go to superuser and select unroot,it will do the rest.
don't forget to use triangle away to reset the counter...
And,if u flash official fw over rooted fw,u will loose root,in other words,u won't have to go thru unroot process if u flash official fw.

Thank you

You have to reinstall Official lollipop
If you flash and custom rom that make EFS Backup automatically, for example Ozcan ROM, you have to search a folder with this name "efs_Backup" in your "internal memory"
If you have this folder and backup
Make this instruction for downgrade to Kitkat: Here
But if i go to lollipop also still my imei and Baseband will be unknown !!

No it's not so. Revert back to Lollipop and your baseband, imei will be recovered.
I have already experienced this, have been jumping between Kitkat and Lollipop since a week because of the same problem, I guess Lollipop has updated the EFS which makes Kitkat unable to read it properly.
Hope this helped you!
Unknown imei = go to lollipop, null, generic etc need a efs backup, however you can go to a mobile shop with a octopus box or something like that.

I have an s4 -GT i9500
i rooted my device via cf-autoroot

i have installed many roms : Resurrection-Remix {5.1.1}
Bliss-Pop
Cm12

it cant connect to my sim network. So simply, I can't call, sms, or use mobile data.
I dont have the 4gLte version of S4.
Please help me out.
I'm Desperate.
Thanks
Flash the stock modem again. Since you have an I9500 you should be able to flash the modem through your recovery.
What do you mean by modem ?
Sent from my GT-I9500 using Tapatalk
Well, if you search the forums you'll find a thread with nothing but firmware packages for the cell radio and WiFi. That's the modem.
Thanks for the quick reply but please can you give me a link to a proper thread cause I could be mistaken. Thanks.

No, because I'm not directory assistance. Use the search engine. That's what it's there for.
I found a thread but i cant find out whats my firmware number

Does the firmware number change if you apply a custom rom ?
