I have Nexus 7 2012 running 4.4, recently factory reset and now the camera crashes everytime.
Can anyone please help.

Thanks Lucky Switz for the reply.
I tried different app. I tried going back to 4.2--> 4.3-->4.4 and in every ROM i was getting same error.

i don't want to assume but.. maybe the problem is in the camera itself.. if you stil have the warranty, you may still check it in asus..

sad to hear that.. i just tried to flash different rom with different android version but i'm not experiencing any as your's..

Do you receive any error message?
Did you try to fix it by contacting the manufacturer?

Can anyone enlighten me as to which is the problem? I had call recording fully operational on Android 4.3, but since flashing GE4.4.2 it doesn't work. So is it a restriction of KitKat that's causing the issue or is it kernel related?

I have the same rom on my phone , and everything work .
try to reflash with full wipe
It would appear that we do have the same Rom, yes. It is a clean install, redone again yesterday. Which app do you use to record calls? Or is there an option in the stock dialler that I have missed?

So is there an option to record calls in the dialler? I have looked through all the settings and cant find anything.

When the Galaxy S4 is booted up a warning is showing stating:
“Warning: Camera failed.”
The camera has been replaced but it hasnt fixed the problem.
Any ideas on how to fix this or what may be wrong?

I got this messagebox on i9506 with android 4.3 :
Sometime when i launch camera app' i got this error but the camera show up as well.

Using a wrong version camera, the screen will shows up Camera failed once click the camera app.
What is your Galaxy S4 version?
Hey guys
I have problem with my nexus 4, I cant update from 4.2.2 to ANY other custem or stock ROM because of dont working sensors, only one system which I can install is ubuntu os .

OTA, fastboot and via tools
There is problem with sensors, few ppl because of not working sensors was unable to update 4.3+

I've same problem. Did you ever try to fix it to the center service? I would try to take to the center services :crying: maybe they can help

try to Setting/application manager/All/Reset app preferences.
What rom are you using? Did you root your phone?

It happened long ago, and with these procedures worked, I'm sorry but my experience stops here. maybe wait until someone else will help.
But if it were me I would do a complete wipe and flash the rom.
My phone IME shows just show 000000000000. please help me. I have Flashed Stock Rom 3 times but the IME had not back into real. Someone please help me.:crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:

See this is exactly the thing we should NOT do here or anywhere. If you solved your issue, wouldn't it be nice to say how you solved it, so that anyone in the future facing such problems would solve it as well?
