I find it unable to flash touchwiz 4.4.2 leaked firmware.
When I tried to flash using Odin provided according to the instructions, it appears "there is no PIT partition" and fails. The flash process even totally do not start. Anyone knows how to solve it? Thanks.
Are you sure you have a gt-i9505. Not a 9500 or 9505G?

It should be definitely 9505, because previously I am always using Omega roms. My current ROM is Omega V19.

Well it's supposed to match, but I never ever check my downloads..
Yes you need to update to Stock first before flashing (NA6 is OK no need for NA7)

Try flashing it even if the MD5 doesn't match, just have another ROM ready in case it doesn't work. Might just be an anomly that is causing the checksum issues.

I usually add Upgrade to Stock Kitkat via Odin >Root with cf-autoroot > Flash a custom Recovery > download custom ROM > flash via custom Recovery.
But thats because I need root and want to make sure my phone has rooted properly.....
Oh, and make sure the KK you flash ISN'T a branded rom - supplied by a foreign carrier as this can cause problems and may fail near end of ODIN flash...
No need to root when flashing a recovery :good:
EDIT: Re-Read your reasoning for doing so!

Just make sure you have the latest cf-autoroot and that the CWM you install is greater than version 4.0.4.6... These are KK friendly, anything else will cause issues...

How can I see if the KK I flash isn't a branded rom or not?
I'm using the cwm 6.0.4.7 (it said friendly KK )I think so, I no longer near my pc but I will confirm that later.
Use XEO (Poland) KK which is unbranded
HERE'S a fast link for it.
I've currently installed a rom on my rooted Sprint GS4 that was originally SPH-L720. After the installation the model number changed to GT-I9505. Now i'm having several problems like no phone signal, LTE 4g no data, and also cant view any type of videos. I made a mistake by not backing up phone before installing the rom. Is there anyway to get my phone back to its original model number SPH-L720? If there's any threads on how to change it back please tell me. I've also tried to install stock rom and that did not work; the installation aborted.
Here's the current phone info:
Model Number: GT-I9505
Android Version: 4.2.2
BaseBand version: L720VPUEMJA
Kernel Version: 3.4.0-Google-Edition

I just replied to you in another thread. If you don't know how to properly flash international roms you should NOT install any of them. Your phone is still a SPH-L720. It says i9505 because of a build prop file in the rom you installed. Flash a TW Sprint GS4 ROM or odin MF9 tar if you don't have the Knox bootloadee yet. Everything you need is in these threads.

You flashed the wrong rom for your device. Odin to stock. There's a thread in development where you can grab the files you need.

Hope your phone isn't borked. Did you see if the zip wasn't corrupted or did you check MD5 sum?

I don't believe that it's broken. I'm able to install I9505 roms but not sprint SPH-L720. But i would like it to have a sprint rom so that i would be able to make calls and go on the web with it.

Wow so much to say, but I'll give this to you.
Grab the MK2 .tar from here (the tar.md5 is in the zip, just extract the .tar.md5 and put that one file in the PDA slot of Odin) and flash it via Odin.
Run Odin 'as administrator. (use Odin 3.07 or 3.09 - seem to work best.)
It'll reset everything (all partitions and modem etc.)
THEN
Spend a couple weeks reading, searching and reading some more before you truly do turn you device into a shinny paperweight.
i have galaxy note3 LTE N9005 ,I TRIED TO UPGRADE TO OFFICIAL SAMSUNG KIT KAT 4.4.2 ROM BY ODIN 3.09 BUT IT FAILED, AND NOW CAN NOT RECOVER MY DEVICE, I TRIED MANY TIMES WITH ODIN THE I TRIED OTHER OFFICIAL ROM FOR ADROID 4.3 THE ORIGINAL BUT FAILED, PLEASE MY DEVICE IS DAMAGE OR STILL CAN BE RECOVERED.:crying::crying::crying::crying:
Had the same problem yesterday. You need a PIT-File too for the flashing.
I uploaded it for you, extract and flash it with the AP-File. Re-Partition must be checked in Odin.
Be aware if the Bootloader was flashed there's no point trying for JB (4.3) roms...
it's that pit file good for flashing kitkat 4.4.2 roms ?cheers

No, I have i337 AT&T, but I have problems with flashing ROMs, and I do not know the reason.
I downloaded already 12 ROMs, but only one flashed good, but still without result. I can see onle screen with "Galaxy S4"
It seems to me tha this version is suitable for me http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=46804713&postcount=2 but is was deleted from filehost
Make sure you have kies and the correct odin version. Maybe use another computer or reinstall windows on your computer and start from the clean slate if desperate. I have experienced that. It happens when your computer has some problems.
Omega ROM isn't made for AT&T variant S4.
If you did not flash a kernel compatible for AT&T after you flash the rom then you will not be able to boot up into the system.
Go back to your custom recovery, and install a ROM that's specifically made for AT&T like Golden Eye and so on then it should boot up fine. Also make sure you do a wipe before you install the Rom.

Be sure to download the whole firmware, and not only modems.
Download your firmware at "sammobile.com" and then flash using PDA on odin!!
