Does the new leaked Kitkat firmware comes with some Note 3 features? - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

For anyone who has tried NA1 firmware (on i9505), can you confirm if below features are available? I'm using i9500, just would like to know it beforehand.
Multi tasking Drag & Drop
Same app in Multi Tasking
Camera - 4K Video Recording
Camera - Surround Shot
Camera - Realtime Effect

No on all of the above....

Too bad

i cant find the new camera shortcut on the leaked 4.4.2 rom... and the menu for enabling shortcuts on the lockscreen isnt there..

If you talking about 4.2.2 TouchWizz based, Yes it comes with some Spen note apps..

I think that the 4k recording won't be there for sure because the snapdragon 600 doesn't support it, even playing it, only the 800 does, so no 4k recording in the new 4.4 kitkat.

[Q] Any slow motion video camera for nexus4?

Any slow motion video camera for nexus4?

I hope they do a port if that feature.

I'll use this thread a bit for my own inquiry, so is there any available camera app that allows to change image quality and maybe postprocessing/compression quality?
Since Nexus4 is suppose to have same camera module by Sony than Iphone 4 & 5, the quality still isn't quite the same.
I hope Google makes some great improvements for the next os update 5.0 they already got the look on the OS which I love, maybe a white theme wouldn't hurt neither, but they need more software feature, Samsung does have some cool ones and I just don't like the Samsung look, I hate the color of the Os, I love HTC tho but I'm not sure about the HTC one

So i have searched through the forum and haven't found any answer yet. There is a cam mod by HyperX for the S3 and Note2, but i couldn't find out if there is a way to get this working on the Nexus 4.
Back in the old days where i used the Samsung i8910 HD HyperX had programmed a software which had a slow motion cam (Thank you Andy for your awesome support for the i8910 HD! ).
So i think if the very old i8910 HD had a slow motion cam (by the way it had symbian instead of android D there must be a way to bring a slow motion cam to the Nexus 4? So please help me and all other users who wants a slow motion cam.
And yeah i know i'm a noob so if i missed a thread which have a solution for my problem just say where and i shut up
Thank you for your answers and your help

Hmm, I'm sure someone would be capable of porting one if the s3 slowmo apps to the N4, it would be a great feature to add.

[Q] MF9 HDR Video Recording?

It doesn't appear to exist. I thought this was a big feature of MF9? I tried changing the photo mode to HDR but it has no effect on video. Was it really not included?
That was never listed as a feature for mf9. It was rumored when the international version of the update was announced back in June by several sites but when the actual update hit the streets it wasn't included.

[Q] Nexus 4 Camera Improvement Topic

Hello Guys
We all know how poor is the AOSP's camera app by supporting features ( slow motion exc. ). And N4 has a bad video recording quality with 12mbps bitrate. We can improve it by a mod ( topic is at the second link i gave ) or with a program called LGCamera. Well there is no visible difference between 12mbps and 20mbps.
I made some research and found that these phones use the same Sony Exmor IMX111PQ image with N4.
- Samsung Galaxy S4 Active ( It supports slow motion feature )
- LG Optimus HD 4x
- LG Nexus 4
There are two topics i found that they are useful for this thread;
http://forum.xda-developers.com/nex...vs-nexus-4-camera-recording-v0-2-avc-t2159076
http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/development/mod-increase-camera-audio-video-image-t2039553
How can we improve the Camera App ? Is there any port from Samsung Galaxy S4 Active ?
I would love slowmotion feature. Its awesome on iphone.
First of all at the brochure of IMX111PQ it says that the sensor can take 720p at 60FPS.
And we know examples of Snapdragon S4 Pro can take 720p 90FPS videos. So where is the problem ? I think it's defintly software limitations.
They share the same hardware but different camera drivers, that's one of the reasons we have such poor camera quality... mostly is bad-optimised drivers. (the sensor has some blame on this too).
Our hope is to get new camera drivers with the new Google Camera that has been announced some weeks ago, if not, it'll be more like another camera that you can find at playstore.
Well it can be the optical stuff also ( optical elements ). But its not only the video quality. The camera app is very stricted. There is no options to select.

Bump. I like my N4, and before making my decision on going on another phone, the only thing I do not like is the camera. Takes longer to focus, bad image quality (unless i photoshop afterwards) . So isn't there any way of improving it?

[REQUEST]Vibe Z2 Pro (K920) - 1080p/60fps

K920 has same camera sensor as Galaxy S5, but i can't record video in 1080p/60fps. In stock camera isn't setting frame rate. Do you know, how?
And slow motion (720p/120fps) is very sh*t.
Some update? Or mod? I try video record applications, but nothing run.
I have stock 4.4.2 with VibeUi (and clear android)
Thx
I just bought it. Will check and get back.

Firstly, are you using Exynos or SD? if you are on Exynos then you are pretty much stock to stock with all but no options.. if on SD then there are a few...as for Apps, Snap Camera HDR is about the best or closest you will get to RAW on this phone.. it's a great, if not the best camera app there is.. it's not a true 100% raw but much better..we need a LP firmware update...depends on your carrier that will ALLOW FOR CAMERA2 api's! I badly want this.. THEN we would be able to get true raw.. Note4 is fully capable but must be activated or unlocked more or less for this and Sammy appears to not be updating with Camera2..as of yet...

Seams to be i have to wait for an LP firmware update, but sadly its not available in my country at this time, finding something way to workaround raw shooting in Kitkat, there is an app named as "Mi2Raw camera" , which shoots raw photos but its only available for few devices(Like G2,Oneplus one etc).Anyways i am using N910C(Exynos) model.

Pretty sure even with LP update, your Exynos will not get full camera access as it should..

Samsung Camera Framework overrides snapdragon can framework so by forcing zsl to be on always this makes apps such as mi2raw and freedcam incompatible

Yep! And this sucks... Why Sammy is holding their own hardware back like this especially with new LP api's is beyond me
