It has box and everything? Dont think its stolen. Dont even think this phone was purchased from canada?
Sent from my Nexus 5 using xda app-developers app
If the phone is locked to a network, it should ask for the code to unlock it. If it's not asking for that and just shows no signal.... Then the is definitely something fishy

Found my problem. Ended up getting scammed for a fake clone note 3... Phone works on Rogers but not for telus. Having a real bad day!

Not possible. The two versions of the N1 have different radio hardware.

Does anyone know if the 4.2.2 update removes access to manual selection of lte? I haven't seen anything about this either way.

I saw that some of the android news sites were reporting the N4 was getting the update, and they now show as being all the Nexi (plural nexus?) except the 4 are starting to see the update.
Hi guys
I'm selling a 64gb HTC One Dev Ed. If your interested let me know I will ship to Europe
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
i hate to be a backseat mod, but you have to use swappa or another means to advertise this
Sorry I didn't know.... What's swappa?

Yeah, wherever he sells it, the shipping to Europe doesn't make sense...
Yes international version has . Nöt syre the US versions have. I know the developer version doesnt, so you cant use it in some European countries.....if you want to use LTE that is.

Just curious, how did you get a dev model? They were only supposed to be sold to stateside addresses and cc?
My cousin lives out in Boston so purchased them at first pre order stage and sent them to me

Ah, that explains it. But the first pre-orders are just now shipping. So you are advertising the phone for sale before you get it...
Yeah originally my brother was keeping the second handset but he has decided to purchase a Galaxy S4 so I'm stuck with a spare handset technically. as my cousin in Boston is on Verizon the device is useless to him

As in carrier unlocked? Pretty sure the N4 is never locked to a carrier, but to state the obvious have you tried putting the sim from your preferred carrier in to your phone?
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 4
What you mean by locked? You mean bootloader? Are you using stock ROM / kernel? 4.2.2 or 4.3? Rooted or unrooted?

Since it is network locked...put the SIM of locked network in the phone and then punch the network/carrier unlock code...then insert the new SIM...

Nope, did nothing. Where did you get this N4 from? 90% sure nexus 4s are never locked, even though some carriers will say it is because most phones do come locked

Well if nothing happens for a few hours then either contact your operator or the only ultimate option is go completely reflash and wipe off every thing. Reflashing and wiping off should be the last option mate ! Good luck

Like Tom540,I'm sure that the Nexus 4 is carrier unlocked out the box- I have had T-Mobile,o2,giffgaff ,orange and cosmote in mine with no issues
Did you cut down your own sim,if so then you may have damaged it. So you'll need to get a new one from your provider
Did you get one from your provider,if so then you will probably need to register it with them.
Hey guys as the title says im new to the nexus 4 just was wondering if i am in the correct section ? I mean i got my phone off a dude on craiglist and not sure if there is another forum for the nexus or its the same for all devices ? Thanks.
