Just installed omni 20140111 on grouper and mako.
While on mako screen-off animations work fine none is working on grouper.
If this a known issue than disregard this post.

Yeah, it's the same on manta. Weird thing is with Xposed module and GravityBox, the animations were working in manta.
Not sure about manta, but grouper doesn't support the screen-off animations.

With GravityBox CRT is is working fine even in grouper.
I don't understand how this is not supported in grouper. @XpLoDWilD Does it mean that stock kit kat doesn't support it?
Comparing mako's and manta's devicetrees I found this. Don't know if this is the omni-compliant way to fix it, nor if it has unknown side effects. But my homebuild is running with electrobeam. Hope it helps.

I was surprised when I discovered that Manta actually supports the electron bean animation. It's just that most ROMs for it don't have it working for some reason.
I have CM11 nightlies on it. After a certain build, they had it working. I don't update every night, so I can't tell exactly in which build it started working.

Camera- Try this.
Gallery- Yeah. Problem is with editing but you can use snap camera.
Keyboard- Only is working in English.
Clock- Go to settings and delete cache in app. If this doesn't working so you can try this.
Personally, I think that these results are sufficient to backport so at all with astonishment that something works. If you see these results as terrible so you can try to fix it myself or you can compile android 4.2 for u8800.

do you think it has something to do with being JWR66 and Odex
Yes, that mod in the OP is for deodex only. The original author of the mod did reply with an odex version for the Nexus 4 and I believe Busybox must be installed.

This is exactly what I'm looking for for the Google Play edition of a GS4. Well... I have a T-Mobile version, that I've rooted and flashed a GPE ROM to.
I've tried the option of editing the settings database, but it seems to carry no weight to the system with those settings. Not sure if the ROM is just "thinned out" and something is missing, (I think it's normal stock per the thread) or if I'm just not getting the "complete" changes. Like if something has to change elsewhere in addition to the database updates.
Either way, this is exactly what I'm looking for for my phone...... Anyone know of a place for this corner case? (without installing another app... I already have SwitchPro Widget installed and it's fine. Serves the purpose just fine; I want the stock options in the secondary menu instead)
Thanks!

Just new to 4.3 on a stock Nexus 4 (only got it today)
Had been using 4.3 CM10 on my Nexus S with the quick toggles just being a tab to enable/disable.
Tried the long press method and for the most part it does work, so that's great, but it doesn't do so with the Mobile Data, that still goes to the mobile data usage page.
Am I missing something?
Stock quick toggles are more limited, if you want to expand on it install Xposed Framework and the Gravity Box module.

Well, I don't know what relation has GravityBox with MediaTek chip.
As allways,
1. Install XposedFramework
2. Run the apk and install the framework under the tag FRAMEWORK
3. Reboot
4. Download GravityBox, that will be under the tag DOWNLOAD and install the apk
5. Activate the Module under the tag MODULES
6. Reboot
7. You will have Gravitybox installed and perfectly working

If you read the description of gravitybox you can read that it was made specifically in mind for mediatek devices in mind.
It gives stock rom some functions from custom roms.
But it's better to flash a custom rom, especially on n4 I think.

There are several custom roms with those features and loads of others.

Hi, here is a mod that puts Multi Window feature in OmniRom nightlies
I'm not the original creator thanks to @daniel_hk
Multi-window
This is a big work in progress, which currently has some bugs,
but begins to look okay.
You can already multitask a little bit, by using the
app switcher and long-pressing an icon, then select "Add to
Split View".
Last window touched gets the key focus.
Code is very ugly, I know. Don't merge it, don't use it
for now. Unless you want to make your code ugly.
Enjoy

Installation instructions :
Installing OmniROM for the first time :
1. Reboot Recovery
2. Flash OmniROM and G.Apps
4. BOOT ! (Or you may fall into a boot loop)
5. Reboot on Recovery
6. Wipe Cache/Dalvik Cache
7. Flash Multi Window Zip and Reboot
If Omnirom is already installed :
1. BACKUP YOUR ROM ! (MultiWindow is unstable)
2. Wipe Cache/Dalvik Cache

Video :
Youtube
Issues :
- Do not open a MultiWindow with Google Chrome, it's very buggy
If you have already done, delete Google Chrome data (Only if MultiWindow starts to bugger)
- if an application opens in MultiWindow alone, press back and reopen
Mod tested and works on OmniROM Nightlies 21/12/2013 and 22/12/2013
Thanks OmniROM Team and daniel_hk

Just tried it again with the 12/22 nightly.
Everything is now working. Not sure what I was doing wrong before, but here are my steps.
Using multirom...
Installed omni 12/22 nightly from zip. Reboot into 12/22 omni.
After it came up cleanly, reboot to recovery and flashed gapps and multiwindow patch via multirom menus.
Reboot and everything came up.
Thanks!

How stable, or not so stable is this? I may switch from AOKP to Omni for this.
I have created here a cool mod for our N5,
with this you can set the processor clock (with Stock Rom KTU84P or KTU84M).
Odex and deodex version online.
A huge thanks goes to Pandemic (HowTo) and ZN6 (because of the required apk's).
With both consent, I have created a version for our Nexus 5 with 4.4.3 and 4.4.4 Stock Rom.
Odex and deodexed versions.
With this mod, it is possible to adjust the CPU clock and view the CPU statistics.
Without custom kernel!
Don't forget, credits goes to Pandemic and ZN6, for their work.
