Camera widget during pin/pattern lock? - Verizon Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

OK so I know on cyanogenmod ROM you can have it where you have a pin/pattern lock screen and without unlocking use the camera app by swiping right.
Is this MOD possible with just a rooted touchwiz MI9 and if so how?
Thanks ahead of time!))

What you need is to have Xposed installed with the following modules: "Enable Camera on lockscreen", and "Samsung Multiple Widgets". You can search it on the Xposed app. The Samsung Multiple Widgets will allow you to have widgets on a locked screen and the other one does what the name implies.

Thanks man!

I can't seem to get this to work using a pattern unlock. I am on on the leaked NC 2 Kitkat rom. When I wake up my phone I have the clock on top and the 9 dots for the unlock pattern. I've tried all the modules and can't seem to get the camera icon on my lockscreen. Is the camera icon supposed to be on the bottom right of the page?

This feature doesn't work on 4.4.2 with a lock pin or pattern, only swipe. Hopefully a dev releases an updated Xposed module. I used that feature so much that I purchased a Klick button to get to the camera since nothing worked on KK with a locked screen.

[Q] Unlock Screen

having trouble with the lock screen and security. I can put widget and apps on the lock screen no problem. But when I add a password or pin or other type of security I no longer have access to the widgets and apps on the lock screen. is the a short coming in Android 4.2 or am I missing something?
It is working as designed. Password or pin means security and widgets bypass this. Pick a less secure option or give up widgets.

Not natively, but the solution I set up for my wife's phone works pretty well. Try using Widgetlocker for your lockscreen, and setting your TW lockscreen security to pattern or pin. Unfortunately you won't have the pretty lens flare effect, but it does work pretty well.

Surprising!! I thought the point to widgets on the lock screen was that you could easily and quickly perform or see something without having to UNLOCK your phone. Just don't understand!
in my S2 i had a number password and widgets.
when i chose a widget to open it would first ask for a password and then open the app.
don't get why this isn't the case in my S4 (SGH-I337M).

[Q] Disable lock screen sliding?

Lately when I go to unlock the screen from the lock screen, I'll accidentally swipe from the left of the screen and it will take me to a widget page, where I'll have to swipe back to middle, up to default lock screen, and then try swiping to unlock again. Is there any way to disable this annoying lock-screen widget thing?

Maybe someone can get this working in a xposed module

You could disable the lock screen altogether. When you double tap it would take you directly to your home screen.
I like the LG lock screen ...but I have no need for lockscreen widgets

Any progress on dealing with this problem?
Still no answer?
You can try lock screen policy app from the app store and that disables widgets on lock screen ... I think it should work with LG lock screen

[Q] Camera option on pin lock screen?

My wife has a s5 and I love how the camera option is there rite on the pinpad lock screen. I want to get that on my note3 but without flashing the s5 port ROM. Had anyone had any luck with this. I tried the xpossed module but it didn't work.

Lockscreen widgets are gone in favour of notifications in Lollipop. You can't have lockscreen widgets without a third party lockscreen app or going back to kitkat.
