Just recently installed cm10.1 on my new nexus 4 and I'm really irritated by this bug that wasn't in the stock 4.2.2. When you use a third party app to hide the navigation and system bar to make it full screen and then show it again, everything works fine until you try to press the multitasking button on the right to show recent apps and it doesn't work. You have to put the device to sleep then wake it again to get it working properly again. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the rom because I've tried it with different apps like full!screen and GMD Gesture Control and they both cause the same problem. I would really like a way to get more screen space and put it back to normal conveniently without bugs maybe someone could help me with this problem maybe I'm doing something wrong idk but help would be great.
I'm running the latest nightly which is I think from today the 26th
I would report the bug officially but I don't know how

Hi,
So I've started using LL and it's very nice; however, I'm having buggy/glitchy problems with it. I'm wondering if this is the norm, or if I need to adjust some settings. I downloaded a theme and applied it and it gets very glitchy/jumpy most notably when I wake the screen up and try to swipe from left to right, etc.
Hey everyone. I'm an LG G2 owner and I use Mahdi ROM. One of my favorite features was lifted from SlimROM: Slim Recents. It's just a better way to display recent apps.
However, I've run into an issue that's a bit annoying. The keyboard is always on top. You know the arrow below the cursor that let's you move the cursor about? It gets covered up by the keyboard. The bottom couple apps that show up in Recents also gets covered up by the keyboard. Here's a video on vimeo showcasing the issues in those two scenarios; and a small imgur album. The issue is not isolated to any specific keyboard (stock or 3rd party), as seen in those two media.
So are you guys encountering this issue with SlimROM? Or is this specific to Mahdi? If it's the latter, then I will continue to bring this topic up with Mahdi devs and users to attempt a solution. I believe the issue might lie with Mahdi, as the arrow should not be hidden no matter what Recents launcher I use.
bump?
I recently switched from PureNexus MM to Nougat to fix a bluetooth issue. Now that it's fixed, I figured it's time to find a ROM that would fit my usage. One feature that I can not live without is SlimRecents. I was sad to see that it's not included on Pure Nexus Nougat so I tried a few others. But I noticed that it wasn't working like how it did on MM. After trying out numerous ROMs, I've come to the conclusion that AOSP based ROMs aren't implementing SlimRecents as how SlimROMs intended. The LineageOS based AICP does however.
The intended behavior of SlimRecents is when you tap the recents button, it opens the SlimRecents side menu. Tapping it again will close it. Whatever foreground app you're on will always stay in focus. Here's a video of how it works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xltWTcR8hS4
However, on the AOSP ROMs I've tried (Ressurection Remix, Screw'd, and Nitrogen), it perfoms like how the stock AOSP recents does. Tapping the button will open SlimRecents but tapping it again will cycle you back to the previous app. I feel like Slimrecents was created to act as a "peek recents" where you peek to see where you want to go and then close it out. This is the behavior that's not working as intended: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WoDdxXmBFLc
I've checked with SlimROMs on Google+ and they mentioned that it should NOT cycle back to the previous app, it should just open and close with each press, granted you don't have a double tap action assigned.
I think double tap last app is a default nougat feature just like split window mode. Unless you assign something to override or disable it.

In the video, i'm not double tapping it. I give it enough time in between where it's a single tap.
They're both in Nougat, or is the first one on Marshmallow?
It is Nougat's default behavior to switch the last opened app no matter how fast you click it or how slow.

Both are in Nougat, the first video working correclty is on AICP ROM (LineageOS based). That's how it's supposed to work and is what SlimROM's Nougat ROM does as well. SlimRecents is a "peeking recents" style, it just doesn't make sense for it to switch to the last app. That's why I LOVE it
Yeah, I'm new to Nougat and absolutely do not understand why it's the way it is. A quick double tap of the recents button already is set to go to your last app, why would they be redundant on making the second delayed press go back to the last app too?
I'm curious what most people are using. AOSP, OmniRecents or SlimRecents?
Recently our devices that have not been intervened for modification have received the new version of Android 11 based on MiUI 12.2.1.0 (RJKMIXM) so they have added things such as also removed things and a few bugs, then I will leave a list of what that to my appreciation I managed to discover with this update and it would be great if they also share more things.
Additions and improvements:
- iOS style bar available for gestures (with option to remove in settings) without the need for the long-awaited Poco Launcher 3.0.
- Improved animations such as multitasking and when opening apps.
- Fixed pixelated screen on lock screen.
- New emojis. (LOL)
- From Poco's Launcher if you slide down the right side you lower the control center, to the left you lower the notification center, it is no longer necessary to do it from the status bar and clearly you have to have the new control center active and from Home do the gestures.
- By having the device horizontally, if you slide the new control center, now you can see it in a better way, that is, on the left side you will see the customizable quick accesses and the right side the fixed ones with wifi and data.
- Sound assistant in the sound and vibration section
- Beauty mode for video calls
Things they removed and certain bugs:
- I cannot access the last app from Home by pressing the multitasking button twice if you have it active
- They removed the notification priorities (high, normal, unimportant, etc.)
- They removed the button for the pop-up windows from multitasking as well as the one from the split screen (I think it was that) that was in the upper left corner
- Even if you have accelerated animations (x0.5), the new animations (such as multitasking and when entering apps) will still be at x1
- In certain sections they removed some vibrations
- In some notifications (it only happened to me on WhatsApp and Google messaging) when you get a single notification, it is misconfigured
- (bug) If you have dark mode, when accessing the section with the shutdown, restart, etc. buttons, the letters will be the only ones that will be white, the icons will be black (f for those with dark backgrounds)
- (bug) 50% brightness down is lower than it was before

I know, I actually did the post there and it appeared here in some strange way.
Everything on the list is with the phone factory reset after updating.
how about floating windows? i can't do that as in previous V12.0.4.0.
ok. any of you that have received the update from updater app have force close from updater app after apply the update? After clearing data of that app, i got no more FC on the app but now i am unable to see changelog, its says "you don't have permission to access the update log", and trying to download last update manually says "Can’t download update, wait a minute or two"... it's really annoying!
I have received 12.2.1.0 (RJKMIXM) update and the rom is ok but the biggest issue i have is with gestures control. Now the the "go on home screen" and the "open recents" don't work at all, neither with poco launcher or nova launcher. It's a big bug for me and now i must use the buttons on the navigation bar.

I have similar issue. It works if default launcher is set to poco launcher. But when it's set to nova launcher home gesture swipe up doesn't work outside the launcher.

Does Someone know how to disable bobble notifications? Can't find it in the settings!
Hi, I am having problems with the new version 12.2.1. When I try to open a youtube, instagram, navigator link from another app it says that no app can open the content. In the previous version 12.0.3 there was no problem

try this app! -> https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.conena.navigation.gesture.control&hl=en_US&gl=US
this app will give you back gestures on all app screens.
-> needs less power and works for me! You can hide the app overlay if you don’t like it!.
(freeware - no ads!)
Edit:
maybe some of the XIAOMI bugs are the same as present at Google A11. See here: https://piunikaweb.com/2020/12/08/android-11-update-bugs-issues-problems-tracker/
If anyone here would compare this list, I would be delighted!
Hi there. I got the new update with all the bugs that are already mentioned by other members in previous posts. The one that is bothering me the most and gives me a hard time is the messed up notifications. What I mean is that when I have more than one notifications, either from the same app (grouped ones) or from different apps, the senders' names and text gets confused with other apps' notification text or sender's name. I tried a factory reset, but unfortunately it didn't solve the bug. The action buttons are also misaligned and sometimes not fully visible, but that's already mentioned by other members. Does anyone have the same bug? Can you propose a workaround at least until a fix is released? Thank you!!

I am using this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.le.miui10gestures and it's perfect. Problem solved.
because my phone was more and more unusable, i now use my Sam Note 9 for the next time.
Rollback and new installation on POCO F2 fails because verification problems during the process.
On the Note 9 with LineageOS 17 everything is alright. There i use "Full Screen gestures" (paid version)
I don't quite understand. Did they remove floating windows feature in the new update?
No. But the way to do differs a little bit.
On: -> developer option " freeform window" must be activated. Then a special tile will give " flying window". Start the app and press the tile...
Off: tap on flying app navbar and swipe up the app window.

Eventually I managed to disable bubble notifications for telegram. When you open the chat bubble, in the bottom left corner there is a "Manage" button. If you tap on that it brings you to a setting page where you can disable the toggle for bubble notifications.
Hello everyone, does it happen to you too that sometimes in the main screen they disappear (become invisible) and you have to restart the phone to solve? You know how I can do it. Help me!!
Miui 12.2.4 is so buggy!
1. Full gesture is not working with 3rd party launchers
2. Recent apps is not working properly even in poco launcher. It appears blank when pressing the recent app button
3. There is no app when clicking a link from browser
4. There is an error when sharing a file to an app
5. There is an error playing a video when using a 3rd party gallery app
6. You cannot upload a file when browsing on desktop mode
7. Poco launcher is laggy

Hi,
I have updated my poco f2 pro to miui 12.2.6.0 but the Notification issue is not fixed (mixing all the notification, WhatsApp notifications are not grouped like in miui 11). But this update feels much smoother operations (miui 12.2.5.0 was little bit slower than miui 12.0.4.0) in the phone.
