[Q] Adjust/scale Nexus 7 screen - Nexus 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello everyone. Days ago, my Nexus 7 fell from my desk and part of the glass broke, that part lost the touch feature, and I'm so unconfortable rotating the device when I can't touch something. Here in Argentina, I can't buy a new glass easily, so, I would like to know if can I do something like scaling or resizing screen to get from this:

to this:
Is it possible?
Thank you.
P.D.: Sorry for my bad English.

I need to know if I can do this quickly. I can't stay like this any more.
Please!
Do you understand what I'm trying to do?

Come on! Nobody? I need to solve this without replacing the screen! Please!!!

Hi Biggie,
you need only a new LCD-Modul (60H00300). It´s easy...
Here you find Instuctions: http://mperlitsch.hintergrundbild.com/htc_hd2.htm#Glas
Good Luck,
Michael
P.S. A Shoot into the blue Sky: Is it possible, that you Kill your Display, because you screw the Backcover Holder-Screw to Deep inside your HD2 ? The LCD-Crack is exact on that Position and that (4 Screws) Backcover-Screws are often a Major Problem. When you screw this 4 Bastards to hard, you can "crack your LCD "from behind" easy & fast...?!?!

Yarvik smp50 broken gray screen.

Hello,
I got a problem since yarvik was gone bankrupt, my screen is gray. I think in the inside something is loose since I can hear something when I shake it. Now I want to know if this is solvable. There are sounds hearable when turning on. The screen is always gray no other display. So can I crack my yarvik ingenia horizon smp50-201 open? There are screws in it. I tried to open it nothing worked. BTW the screen is cracked too.

I know it may sound too obvious, but why don't you just exchange it? No software tweaking will fix this, you would make your screen look blueish instead of yellow :/
Install screen adjuster free and set the blue to 8 or 10 or 12 or whatever you want

Nexus 7 touch unresponsive

I have been using this device for more than 5 yrs. Recently screen rotation was not working so I tried to repair it by myself after watching some videos and forums. It was an easy process but due to my curiosity I dug into the hardware some more. During the process I mistakenly broke a piece from ZIF connector which was connected to the display. I don't know whether this could do anything to the touch. Now the touch becomes unresponsive. I am also thinking that the digitiser could be faulty but not ready to invest in a new one without knowing the real reason. Why this connector is for. Could this be the culprit? If so do I need to change the daughterboard? You can see the picture
