Hi,
I have installed xposed on my G2 without issues. I have tried XuiMod and it works flawlessly modifying some scroll effects.
Later I wanted to remove the carrier name and next alarm from the lockscreen. I have tried G2 Tweaksbox and G2 Xposed and none of them seem to modify anything. Both modules are set as active in xposed framework but they seem not to work, any idea what can it be?
I own an international D802 version. Thanks.
It depends on what version of everything you're running. Whether you have the right xposed installer and compatible modules and all that, and what version of firmware you are running.
I am having a similar problem, but G2 Tweaksbox works for me, while G2 Xposed doesn't. I'm running latest of everything and CloudyPro 1.3 on a D801.
Thanks. It seems it was that. Suddendlt appeared an update for Tweaksbox and now it is working fine. What I do not understand is why I installed from Play Store and the version installed was not the most recent one.

running galaxy s5 here on rogers G900W8 all info in my signature.
rooted with twrp recovery installed ,
when I install Xposed framework and reboot my S Health app crashes " unfortunately S health has stopped"
I don't have any moduals installed , I think another post back in this thread said it had to do with the multi window but mine is off and nothing enabled on it. I attached my logs not much there but I have also uninstalled s health app cleared data and reinstalled it and xposed a few times to no avail
someone reported it had to do with the multi window but I don't use that feature and never turned it on.
just trying to make it so I am able to use an xposed or wanam and still be able to use s health without it crashing.

Mine does the same. S Health crashes and does not work at all. No heart beat monitor for me. The only way to get S health back is to uninstall xposed then restore a backup and reinstall S Health

ok so its not just me , I need to figure out how to correct this I really need xposed.
I asked the same q on another thread , response was the following . but I don't understand it , as I don't use multi window at all hoping and preying someone else comes along to shed some light on this matter.
@rovo89
It seems that this module still tries to activate itself by manipulating the modules.list with root permissions. I just installed it myself and indeed that happened. I wasn't asked, not even informed, and it wasn't reflected in the Xposed UI. So it's basically operating like a root kit. That's especially bad when users suspect a bug in the framework because they seemingly didn't have any active modules.
Please solve this bug (or feature) as soon as possible. You can open the Xposed Installer directly in the modules section, but manipulating its files is not acceptable.
FYI, on my stock AT&T S5 I had S Health "go bad" a little bit, finishing building a Samsung ID and updating it from their store fixed it.
Don't know if that helps or not, just a data point.

You forgot to use the @ to mention @rovo89.
Good to hear I'm not the only one either. S Health stopped opening from the exact same steps as OP.
I tried disabling and enabling the app, re-downloading the updates from Samsung but that didn't fix it.
Any information on why S Health crashes would be helpful.
Have you tried uninstalling the updates for s health? I'm stuck with the g900a for now so i don't have xposed yet, but when s health updated it would constantly error out until i got rid of the update.

I used TitaniumBackup to merge the update into the system. It didn't like that, caused my wifi to go haywire.
Moving the health app out to a user app fixed it though.

so you have s health running with xposed or wanam installed ?
i did not install Xposed framework but root the phone, after that the S health stopped running and popped up a failure notice, it might be due to root, I guess.

I don't think root is the problem , as my phone and many others arerooted with twrp installed and shealth was working 100 % something to do with the xposed and / or wanam

I had the same issue after installing xposed. I had to uninstall it and then convert s health to a user app and completely uninstall it (clearing data and/or removing updates didn't work for me). Also I removed updates from HealthService. After that I install S health again from Samsung store and is working again.
S Health is bugged as hell right now though.

I haven't reinstall xposed yet... Getting SHealth to work again has been a pain. Better to wait for a fix.

yah it took me a while to get s health working again as well , hoping for a fix soon.
Can confirm this on a Sprint S5. Rooted with chainfire autoroot and installed xposed and TWRP 2.7 and had S Health and Healthservices crashing like a drunk teenager. Uninstalled xposed and rebooted, S health now works. Guess I have to sit through Youtube ads for a while.
Ahh... Thought the problem was only for me. Hope @rovo89 could fix it soon.
may be can help to find the problem

there's a thread over here with a lot of us having problems as soon as xposed is installed it crashes s health when you try to run it.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=51958422
I tried Xposed and Wanam.
The changes I made in Wanam worked but the phone boots much slower. After it has completely booted up and you're on the home screen, it also takes a long time for things to start up (things loaded in the background, such as LightFlow). Things felt sluggish in general. I uninstalled Wanam and Xposed Framework and everything is back to full speed again.
I'm going to hold off until Wanam Xposed gets some updates for S5 compatibility.
OK thanks. Good to know.
Do u know if u can get lock screen widgets working?

Hi. Sad to see. One question though. Did the phone boot fast again and everything okay after you uninstalled it?

Yep, everything was back to normal after I uninstalled them.
I'm using xposed with quite a number of mods, no slow down, no issues except for s-health, but if I ignore the crash message it still works

when I get the crash error on s health it wont open and lags, are you running just xposed or wanam ? , soon as many of us installed xposed shealth crashes when you try to open it and only remedy is to uninstall xposed
It's never actually crashed when I load the app, rather I get random crashing in the background when I'm doing other things. Normal xposed
S Health app crashes when xposed enabled. No solution so far.

Installed wanam module to now, and although it crashed when first loaded, second time was fine..
So you installed Xposed first then wanam?
Please post how and what steps you took and what apps you installed help others

Well I only got the phone last week, installed xposed first thing, but since then I have installed countless apps and xposed mods. Changed dpi several times, all sorts of other xposed mods. Wanam I only installed today after reading this thread.
Just tried s-health again, no crash at all this time.
Ok and you have the s5 rooted and recovery installed? Weird your the 1st one that says having no problems I'm on rogers myself here g900w
ok just installed xposed.installer_v29_665be7 rebooted and my s health was working fine 100 % , then I opened xposed and installed the framework then rebooted , now my s health crashes.
so I opened xposed and uninstalled the framework , rebooted and my s health is back to normal ,but I had to relink my account and setup s health again , still with xposed installed , seems it has to do with the framework as soon I install the framework s health crashes.

Hey guys .. Really didnt wanted to open a new thread but i was reading through many threads in the past days and didnt find a solution. Ive installed viper4android as system app and changed selinux to permissive. But it just doesnt work
Is there anybody facing the same or is there anything i missed?
Thanks in advance
This is what driver status says...
Btw im on lp 30b with stock kernel
I'm getting the same problem on my ls980 (Sprint var.)
I'm running a lollipop ROM, (Resurrection Remix)
This is in lollipop 5.1, however.
Very sad though... I LOVE viper. Probably one of my biggest reasons for root, besides custom ROMs and Xposed.
Hopefully this will be looked into.
---EDIT---
My driver status is listed as abnormal, and not enabled.
Probably means I'm even worse off than you

I'm on D802 lollipop and viper4android installed. It worked very nicely for few days. But suddenly stopped working. I've tried reinstalling many times and even added the build.prop settings mentioned in one thread.
But now it just doesn't work. The status says abnormal. And whenever I open the app, music stops playing. Hope someone can help us.

Check my guide for poweramp and v4a, it might just be the thing to fix it.
Thanks man. It turned out that somehow my selinux had become enforcing. Changed it to permissive and things work as expected.
Check ,,Use ,,NuPlayer'' '' in developer setting.
And install SELinux Enabler script via recovery : http://blastagator.ddns.net/dorimanx.php
I have an AT&T LG G2 D800 running Lollipop 5.0.2. I managed to root it and install BusyBox and TWRP, and I've made a full backup. Now I'd like to install Xposed so I can get some other apps running that require it.
My concern is that in my research I found out that installing Xposed specifically on LG G2 phones causes "force close" errors because of the G2's smart cover and weather components. Apparently there are ways to disable those components to get Xposed working without the force close errors. But for this particular phone, I need those components enabled and working. Either that or I need seamless alternatives.
So my question is, does the current version of Xposed (v80 at the time of writing) support these troublesome LG components yet? I'd just like an answer to that before I risk it myself.
I'm new here and I can't code, but as thanks for any help I might receive I'm willing to do a nice write-up on the entire process for this specific phone from root to TWRP to Xposed. No such thing exists as far as I can tell. I've just been finding all the info I need up to this point scattered around the net, and it would be nice to have it all in one place.
Much obliged.

Maybe I've just been reading old information. That's what I was wondering.
Just to confirm, you're running Lollipop, not Kitkat? And your smart cover/quick cover and weather components still work? Did you run into those force close errors at all? If not, then you probably have no idea what I'm talking about, haha. See here:

As far as I know, these issues should be solved with newer Xposed versions. But as this has only been stated by rovo89 and not confirmed (at least to my knowledge) by any affected user, I still have this in the FAQ.
You can flash Xposed and check if the issue still persist. If yes, reboot back to recovery and flash the uninstaller.zip to uninstall Xposed.
