[Q] i9505 don't start

Hi all,
Sorry for my english.
i've actually the S4 LTE with I9505XXUAMDF + CF-Autoroot and TWRP 2.5 for recovery
i would like to flash the last Wanamlite and i reboot in recovery wipe the phone and try to flash the zip. the wipe was ok but i don't find the zip file.
lol just see after that the wipe data/factory reset wipe the internal sd card so i reboot the phone and copy again the file on the external sd.
i try too reboot in recovery but it don't work. Maybe cause of the wipe don't know.
so i try to install another recovery, the cwm6
Just after the flash the phone never reboot. Odin succefull but the phone freeze at the Boot sequence ( Samsung Galaxy S4, GT-i9505 )
Ok so i tryed to flash the last I9505XXUAME2_I9505OXXAMDB_NEE
I put it in pda and start again. The flash was succefull but idem, the phone don't start.
I allways have access to the download mode, but not to the recovery. And i don't know why it don't start with the orginal firmware.
if someone have an idea, it will be great.

so odin went fine but it doesn't start yet ? tried a wipe ROM ?

i can't tried a wipe rom because i don't have access to the recovery

Turn the phone off, pull the battery and wait 30 seconds and reinsert the battery and hold the volume up button + menu + power button and do a data factory reset and wipe caches in recovery.

Great, it works again
Why wait 30 seconds? Is it time for capacitors to discharge?

But there is something i don't understand,
When i flash with odin the twrp recovery, i can boot in recovery and boot my phone.
If i install any samsung firmware without custom recovery my phone don't want to boot, but boot again if i flash the twrp recovery
if i flash the cwm6 i can do nothing too.
why my phone work only with the twrp recovery?

stuck on the samsung logo

trying to get back to stock through odin flashed the stock 3 times but still stays on logo,any ideas as phone is getting really hot and may have to pull battery

ok tried different stock firmwares but no joy,also when i do 3 button recovery it doesnt go into recovery,getting worried now

Boot into download mode and flash custom recovery using odin. After that, boot into recovery and wipe cache, dalvik, /system, /data. Flash stock firmware in odin afterwards.

Well if the stock is getting installed
U again try going to stock recovery power of wait for 1 min
Press volume up + home + power all tog wait till it show samsung logo and then release it it will go to recovery after that wipe factry / cache and reboot will work

finally got it,searched about and got philz touch recovery to work then wiped the lot and put stock EE on it and its back on phew,cheers to all who replied :good:

Soft bricked my phone, tried stock fw and it's still stuck

I was on a coolboyz GE4.3 rom and flashed faux kernel and the device wouldnt boot even to recovery. I flashed a stock samsung firmware via odin and now it boots all the way to the samsung logo including boot animation but will not boot from there. I think I may have flashed a TW kernel on a 4.3 GE base..
I can't boot to my recovery, should I flash one via odin?
Is there anything I can do?

Go to stock recovery After flashing stock firmware and reset the device plus wipe cache and reboot see it should work

Phone wont enter recovery via volume button up, power and home button Tried reflashing stock firmware again and it's still the same

well a strange issue here may be you can try rooting the device if it goes to download mode and then flash philz recovery and see if it goes to recovery from there you can wipe cache / dalvik and reset the device

OMG I GOT IT WORKING ) I forgot you had to remove the button press on the power button to enter recovery )

Lol happy to hear that here on do make a proper Nandroid backup and efs backup incase you don't have very important it will save you many times

flashing stock recovery on custom rom - help required

i want to flash stock recovery on custom ROM, cloudy stock to be exact.
i pulled the stock recovery of D800 latest ROM, than flashed cloudy, but after i flash stock recovery, doing a wipe either from power button or from phone menu [backup/reset] it stuck at lg logo or white reset screen when you do recovery from power button.
though the wipe finishes, but phone doesn't get rebooted as normally it should.
[for people who are wondering why]
i want my phone to wipe everything when i do hard reset either manually or remote,
or if you know a way for twrp to do that let me know.

meaning your wanna wipe your internal storage ?

I think i was pretty clear, yes i want recovery to wipe everything and boot as it usually does.

A6000 rom and Gapps problems

Hey folks I'm new here and I recently rooted my phone and flashed a z5 rom from the XDA rom thread. Link below

So it all went fine but now I'm incurring some problems.
Firstly I didn't notice that the Gapps is closed for updates I don't know if that affected the issue but the Google play is not working and some other Google stuff as well.
And I thought I'll flash new Gapps which are being kept up to date but my phone won't connect with the PC with the usb now so I don't know how do I flash the Gapps now.
I have re Rooted my phone using the Kingo app but it still won't reconnect.
So any help on these issues would be really helpful!
One last question that if I do find a way to flash the Gapps will I have to reflash the rom again?

First dowload the gapps from opengapps.org. Go here choose ARM>>5.1.1>>nano/pico.
Then, boot into recovery, wipe system, data, cache, dalvik and then flash the ROM again and the gapps. All done...!!!

That's the prob right. I cant reach the custom bootloader I don't know why. Do you think its because of the new rom ill have to use some different recovery? I am usin twrp right now and even I used it to flash this rom. Please help

You press vol up + vol down along with power key and release the power key once the lenovo logo shows up, to boot into twrp

no cant boot into it.
I go into the fast boot mode enter recovery commands in the command window. Then try to boot into recovery but it doesn't go into recovery. The Lenovo screen stays there or it boots straight into the phone
This method worked before like I used this way to flash the rom but now its not working.
Any help?

Brother, you have made it really confusing for me. Earlier you said that you can't boot into bootloader, but now you can boot into fastboot..!!
Also, your phone, instead going to recovery, boots directly to system. That means your phone is in working condition(Is it..?), which you didn't told me earlier.
So, if you can boot into system (normal boot). Download Rashr from play store (or from any other source) and flash this TWRP 3.0.2. (First extract this zip and then choose recovery from storage option in Rashr to flash).
