Hi,
Tried to search, but was too much a newbie to figure it out.
Any recommandations of a stable ROM for Iconia A500? Please also supply links if possible.
Thanks

Any of Civato's Roms are very stable. I use the above and rarely have an issue with it

This is my 2nd G2. My first G2 I rooted and used the ultimate droid rom. Now I can't find it anywhere. The website is gone and I find links in websites and they don't work. Anyone know where I can get the rom from? Thanks.

Its badass smooth u have to try it. No other rom can touch the smoothness and speed without overclocking a lot. Too bad all the themes and bootanimations don't download anymore.

Did the ud rom ever get updated? I forgot to keep tabs on it, but I remember it was, at some point, the BEST ginger rom out there.

No it didn't and in my opinion it is the best rom. Too bad they disappeared off the face of the internet all of the sudden.

We all know that the Atrix has a very annoying problem, where the multitouch will randomly 'mess up' after 15 seconds. This was implemented to stop raindrops from selecting random stuff when it was raining. It was a driver used in the Motorola Defy as it was waterproof and was ported over to the Atrix. However, as the Atrix wasn't waterproof, it created annoying problems, especially when gaming.
Here's a video of the problem:
Link.
You can try it yourself, it's very annoying.
But there's finally a fix!
Huge thanks to nok07635 who came up with the tweak!
Simply flash the attached .zip from recovery and voila!
The .zip should work with any ROM's, but hasn't been tested on all ROM's. It works on Neutrino as it's been tested, but I don't see why it shouldn't work on other Blur based ROM's as well.
Enjoy!
Thanks dude working good on MIUI alpha4

The fix I was looking for! Awesome.
I'm sorry, but doesn't seem clear if this is OK for CM7 or if it is just Blur ROMS universal

Well, the OP made the zip for the Neutrino ROM which is CM7 and someone has posted that they got it working on a stock ROM

It should work on ANY ROM, CM7 or Blur. In OP, I just mentioned that it hasn't been tested for Blur ROM's yet, but I would be genuinely surprised if it didn't work.
Both CM7 and Blur ROM's have the same 'touchpad' files, so it should work for both.
This thread should be stickied

Just tried on Wet Dream 1.4.2. Worked just fine.
Thanks a lot .
Worked perfectly in CM7 Ba2tF. Thanks a lot ^^.

Worked perfectly! Thank you very much! Feels like I have a completely new phone that is awesome for gaming now! Thank God for XDA devs because Motorolla devs are dumb and clueless!
Never expected to see a fix for this! Epic job nok07635
good to see turl has already added this to the dev team repo

thank you very much for this i've been looking for a fix for a long time, since most games aren't playable due to this 'feature'.
Glad to see developers actively solving problems instead of just applying themes.

Working perfect on CM7.1 weekly#4 faux123 1.0Ghz and i LOVE u (no homo).
Take that u Motorola ****ty developers.

I'm currently running the 2.3.4 rooted stock and its giving me problems...
What is a recommended ROM that has everything working?
Sent from my HTC Glacier using Tapatalk 2
Stock is the only rom with absolutely EVERYTHING working. You could try TDJ's Darkside Sense.
Try Dark JellyBelly

I'm using Dark JellyBelly, and I've found it works great. I don't see any significant problems with it. There are a couple of relativel minor ones, but nothing significant. You can read more here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1716558
To get good call quality, you will need to flash the low-volume fix after you install DJB. That's easily done. It's found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=24008900&postcount=531
The biggest issue I have with the ROM is that the wifi hotspot doesn't turn on from the stock control. You'll need to download Wifi Tether from the Play Market to make that work (and set it up as a Nexus One, FYI). If you can flash the volume fix, and work with that wifi issue, this ROM is excellent.
Good luck
-Dan
oh so you want stable? Stay on Gingerbread.
Sense: Android Revolution HD
AOSP: Cyanogenmod 7
you can't go wrong with these two ROMs, if you want stability with everything smooth and working, stay away from ICS or JB.
ICS is smooth and stable now.

I did flash dark jb. But didn't find the low volume fix or a solution to WiFi tether.,. I'll try this. But FFC isn't working. I think I can do without.
But I really hated having the navbar...

If you want a stable ics rom, go synthetic aospx br7. I believe everything works there as well and NO STICKY KEYS!

Is there a reason why you wanted a stock asus build for JB, a feature or something?
You can find the stock apps here in other threads and just use one of the JB ROMs that are available.
