CM11 Sound issues with notifications - Nexus 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi everyone,
I am experiencing the following problem on every release of CM11:
I turn my sound off (option to lower/raise volume of phone and notifications at once is activated) but I still hear ALL sounds except the phone ringing tone. I tried different compatible kernels, I cleared cache and davlik but problem still remains. Does anyone have a solution for that? Did I miss any option?
Thanks in advance

OxygenOS notification bug?

Hey there,
one little question: Could it be possible that there ist a bug with the notification volume? So i figured out, that the notification is much louder if you activate the audio-tuner, but during my work i think it's too loud. If you deactivate the audio-tuner it's just fine but then the music quality is much worse.
I hope it is a bug but i don't know. It's annoying to activate or deactivate it all the time.
I would open a ticket on oneplus.net but i can't, becaus i bought it on a marketplace.
What do you think?
I don't think so because I didn't face anything like this

No missed call in phone app

On my op1 in the phone app when I had a missing call there would be a red arrow next to the name if it was a missed call.
Now with the op2 there is no red arrow. Only the green incoming our outgoing call arrow.
There's absolutely no way for me to tell if I missed a call or took the call.
Any solution?

It's fine on my OPT, oxygen 2.0.2 with red indicating a missed call and green marking a received call.
I'm not the only one. I foundfound on op forum there are others with exactly behaviour
Just updated on oxygen os 2.1.0
Problem still exists.
Also tried a total new flash. Problem still there.

I have the same problem, opened a ticket and also they do not have a simple answer on that. I am at vodafone with an ultracard. I can see missed calls and get the correct notification using another sim card.
Would be a good idea, if you also open a ticket to increase the pressure.

Same problem here, tried to turn off "OK Google" as suggested from another forum, didn't help. Thought it was only me .

Just to be clear, this problem started with the latest viber 2 upgrades, could be compatibility problem.
I had the same problem (without headset) and here is the solution that worked for me:
Go to Settings->Apps->Viber, press "Modify permissions" and set "Record audio" to "always ask".
Then launch Viber and make a call. Android will ask you for access to microphone and after that the problem will gone.
I have the same probelm, other party can't hear me. Above trick also did not work
Is there any new fix for this?

The same problem. Fixes from previous posts were useless . If you use a headset or handsfree all work without problems. Skype also works in any mode.
One more detail about this issue:
- An old version of Viber 5.6.1 installed works fine with sound but viber contact list is not synchronized - it is impossible to make freecalls and send viber messages. Only incomming calls and messages via viber channel.
Last version 5.7.1 can't be used for making free viber calls from Zuk Z1 phones
same problem here with the last rom 12
i have all trying without sucess, i have installed old version and works great and fast
here the version 5.6.0

Bump.
Anyone ?
Same issue here
Hi,
Same issue here. I tried apps like recorders and sound meters and it looks like my microphone is working fine. It's getting way more low volume sounds than me talking right next to it. However, during the call people complain they can't hear me.
I've tried two things so far:
- disabling "Virtual HD call" in the dialer settings; or enabling it, no change
- adding
Code:
ro.config.dualmic=false
in /system/build.prop, no change
I've had the phone for a month, it started acting up about a week ago. Unlocked bootloader, Android 6 B574, rooted, but it started acting up 2-3 weeks after updating, so it doesn't seem to be related.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks.
