no no its not the google, speak and screen shot app its all the apps installed on the phone in one quick menu but you can edit which ones you want on the menu
App Panel
Darkfang, i am guessing you are referring to the app panel. The only way i know for it to show is if it is set to pop up when, ie: dock phone, plug in headphones, usb storage. I never use it and dont know another way to make it pop up. You can find the setting for what i mentioned under settings-->general-->accessory.

I've got a rooted G2 with CyanogenMod, and I somehow replaced the phone icon in the launcher "dock" with the maps icon... I have no idea how to fix it. ;_;

Long press on home screen and make a short cut to the "phone" app. Then long press on that shortcut you just made and drag it to the desired position on the dock bar.

Thank you! I would have figured it out sooner or later, but I kept trying to do things that I could see easily happening in my pocket.
My phone only shows an application button at the button of he screen as of this morning. It use to display phone, message, email, and something else. Anybody know how to get these buttons back?

Go into your apps, hit the menu button, choose edit, find what other three apps you want and drag. Them into the bottom bar, hit menu and selete save.
And next time questions go in q&a.
Go into the app drawer, click menu, edit. Move whichever apps you want into the dock.

I'm using the HD2 Samsung GSII Rom and I can't get the applications button to where it should be (the right side) it just stays centered. Also I can't put any other apps in the 4 other spaces next to the applications button. Any Ideas?
Attached is a screen shot.
Have you pressed the 'applications' button to go into the app drawer? Once there press 'menu' bottom left hard key. Then 'edit'. You should be able to move the button and drag others onto the dock from there.

Exactly what I was looking for, thank you.
Is there a way to disable or uninstall the Chinese keyboard? I have no use for it.
Sorry, don't have a GSII but if it's the standard keyboard that ships with the rom then I don't think so.
Need to do a bit of searching my friend.

Curious if it would be possible to relocate it to the right side of the screen?
Just with how I hold and type on my phone I find myself sometimes opening the Multi-View menu, and would never have that happen if it were on the right side of the screen.

+1
I was constantly click and holding it to move to very top or bottom depending what app I am using. ..
In the end, easier to just keep it hidden and just click and hold the back key if I need it....
That would be great. I was thinking the same thing too. So I just decided to edit my pull down notifications so I can see multiwindow icon showing. Now its a simple pull down and click off and when I need it i click on.

How do you hide it but still have it so you just have to hold the back button?

You can move it to the right by dragging it to the other side of the screen. You. Also move the part that sticks out when it's closed by dragging it up or down the screen. Or you can hold the back button to close/hide it. To bring it back just hold the back button again.

You open multi window app selection
Then tap and hold the little tab and just move it
If you don't open app selection you can adjust the tab to your liking on the side it is already at
Sorry if this is old news but I seen a few people asking if you could disable these especially over at the clean Rom thread cause the developer included soft keys in the rom. Anyways again I'm sorry if this is old news but you go to accessibility/access control. It then walks you through a series of steps like if you want certain parts of the screen to not be affected by touch and so on. I thought this was pretty sweet. Not sure if it's for all models and firmware but worth a shot!

I'm on stock and I can't find Access Control in Accessibility. Is this a CleanRom only feature?

No... I'm stock right now. I don't remember seeing it before so not sure how I got it there. Maybe from exposed?

It's all the way at the very bottom of Accessibility. It is listed under Recognition. Turn it on. Then hold down the home button and and volume down to enter the wizard.
It should be helpful for when I do note taking at a meeting so I don't have to worry about touching the physical buttons. But for Button Savior Pro it disables the Home, Menu and Back so it's not something I can have on all the time. Plus the notification drawer cannot be interacted with anymore while this mode is on.

I can open the drawer just fine. You just can't touch any of the notifications after you open the drawer.

Weird... Did you x out of the past that says disable parts of the screen with touch? Wonder why it does that.
