Is VMO EU4 version OK for SGP312 sold in France ?
Why 2 ftf files?
Excuse the ignorant question, but why are there two ftf files for each download? I've seen Rom installations where a zip file is flashed thru recovery, and then an ftf file flashed using flashtool, but not one involving two ftf files. Should I flash both of them?

If you download both parts of the RAR archive and extract it with WinRAR (or any other archiver that can extract RAR archives), there will be only one FTF file.

why wouldn't you upload it as a single .ftf as others do. It is more convenient and we don't have to mess with RAR archives. Futhermore two archieves can corrupt while downloading, and we will have to redownload them again.

The maximum file size on Dev-Host is 512 MB. Furthermore, a single FTF can can also corrupt while downloading and then you would have to download the entire (almost) 1 GB file again. This is a development forum, so I expect members to be able to perform a very basic task like extracting a RAR archive. If not, you should certainly stay away from Flashtool.

there are a great variety of services where you can upload a lot for free.
Just flashed now on my Australian-bought Tablet Z. No problems. Thanks!
Will this work on SGP311 also? Looking for VMO EU4 everywhere for 311, but can't find it.

No, but you can use XperiFirm or the latest version of Flashtool to download the fileset and create the FTF yourself.

Why do you need them? Android 4.4.2 KitKat (10.5.A.0.230) was not the best choice, even when it was released.

I'm looking for any older ROM I can find.
Nothing can be worse than the newest version I got from OTA updates (I don't even know which version this is).

Hello, I need the .ftf files for 32.4.A.1.54, preferably TR image. Xpericheck website has a link but it requires premium, if someone can provide a mirror for it or for other european (preferably UK or DE) image, I'd be grateful.
Are you aware you can download firmware with XperiFirm tool? (included with FlashTool)
