Hey guys,
I wondered if any s view mods are in development, I thought it would be great to use third party apps like Google maps or whatsapp on the small s view Window while my s view cover is closed.
Any ideas? Is that possible?
Thanks in advance

This may be in the wrong area but it seems like this could be incorporated into more than just pics (maps, etc). Has anyone tried this? Im not a developer and have no idea what to do with this.
I'll pose a question though, could this be made into an apk for a quick install? If someone knows of a good tutorial for hardcore noobs I will definitely do it myself.
Just download the "Sony Ericsson Tutorial" app from the market for a demonstration
I did and its not the demo I after. I want it running in maps and for viewing pics.

As I understand it, everything runs from an initial source code. That code needs to be compiled using Android sdk?? And they mention eclipse, what is that?
Edit: and from what I read the source code for it is there

Oh I see
If it can be done - then excellent - I presume the app would need to hook all the screen presses and then emulate the zoom in\out buttons.
Unfortunately I am also like yourself, a newbie
MOD EDIT - I've moved thread to General discussion

Hi everyone. I have just published an app to the playstore. What it does is that you sign In with you instagram account pick a photo then I put it on a T-shirt and deliver it to the customer.
Problem is that when you type in instagram in the search my app is quite far down the list so therefore quite hard to see.
I've tried different keywords changing the title, description and even category but none of them seem to be moving it further up.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks

Maybe try uploading to this website in the appropriate section of course. I'd put it on at least a few more websites like App brain. You could also put a video on YouTube on how to use the app even if it's very simple. Things like his could get your app to used by more people. This is just an idea as I've never developed an application but it's worth a try I guess. Good luck!

This is basically a facebook app. Quite identical to the spam facebook game apps usually post. If someone has disabled platform apps on their facebook they might not be able to see whatever you post at all.

Rss is your key. Add a rss feeds to your website and make an rss reader for your app.

I know about RSS way...any other way?
I mean does all news app or other apps use RSS feed. Like if you take the example of this Tapatalk app of Xda developers. There are many other similar too.
Thanks

You could get the source code of the website. Every time there is something new, you could post a notification (maybe you could put a hint into it). That would mean that you needed to check it every day/hour.
Tutorial for the source code: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/6503574/how-to-get-html-source-code-from-url-in-android
Is there any specific reason not to use RSS? It would be more more quicker than getting source code and reading it. If you have troubles writing xml parser, there are lots of plugins available and you could use one of them.
No specific reason for not using it bro. Just searching for an alternative.
Thanks

I dont think its possible. U can only use it from the homescreen :/
It's possible.
You would need to use something like auto voice along with Tasker etc.
