hey guys i was wondering can we put desire rom on desire-z? i saw some people over there port desire HD rom to their desire.
If you check around the forums, you'll see near-any firmware can be ported to near-any phone, even between platforms (WM <-> android)
This is xda-devs man
But... we need full root first.
This is a new device, delivery only started this week,
so development for it is still embrionary,
but you bet it will grow in awesomeness
Why would you want a Desire ROM? Ours already has the new Sense.
Is this something someone here can port for the HD2??

I would love a sense gingerbread rom, simply because I love the sense clocks and phone dialer
And Sense has better integration with MS Exchange...

It will be great. I can not make without sense , and that is what is stops me to insstall something different.
Count me in!
Sense with gingerbread would be great
I think we have just to wait that HTC releases a Gingerbread update for the Desire HD or the Desire Z. With all the work already done by the devs here for porting these devices to the HD2, it shouldn't take a long time to have a Gingerbread + Sense on our beloved HD2.
Rumors says that a Desire 2 has Gingerbread w/sense..

the desire s and the incredible s both have sense with gingerbread so may porting their rom would help
I think the devs have to wait for HTC to release the sdk for it too.
i want this happened too..
if i am correct a couple of days there was a gingerbread Rom on android.h2roms.com which supports sense. Unfortunately there is non avi at this moment. Can any1 confirm this? Or was this just a mistake which was corrected now?
As far as I now, there are no Gingerbread builds with real HTC Sense.
Most are fakes, because they are just including some third party widgets for the clock and the weather. They should not be allowed to put the word Sense in the title of their build.
Gingerbread w/Sense
All who are interested. Check out this thread. I haven't used it yet (still downloading) but looks very promising.

Cheers
do you know any nand build of that rom? please post it, thanks!
Would certainly be interested in this. Good luck to anyone looking into it!
It would be nice to have a Gingerbread Sense build, not a "Sense-themed" one.
i simply like sense because you can manually link your contacts to fb. I like having my contact info with pictures =)
Try Sense of Eclipse. Very good Desire HD build with Sense 2.1 and a lot of Sense 3.0 stuff.
Is anyone working on a thunderbolt port to the HD2?
I believe that it would give us HTC Sense and gingerbread for the first time on our devices...
Anybody know what the status is with this???????
would be nice if I spelled thunderbolt correctly in the thread title...whoops
there are already ports of a desire s and desire hd with gingerbread/sense already in the dev section
Yeah there are many ROM's out there now with 2.3 and Sense. Also the Thunderbolt doesn't even run 2.3?
Ok I am somewhat new to android let alone it being on the HD2 and I'm in the process of creating my, own rom. But I have to ask , why isn't there a TouchWiz rom floating around? I've seen Sense on a Vibrant and i've seen TouchWiz on a Desire and an Evo. So I'm just curious , why isn't their a TouchWiz Rom for our oh so versatile HD2?
Dear Developers (munjeni, iPlasm,....)

ello everyone.
I want to comment that I really think that a version of CyanogenMod 10, is not necessary because more or less Ice Cream Sandwich (CyanogenMod 9 and CyanogenMod 9.1) is quite useful. Also bugs that now exist, it is likely to appear in later versions. Or even more bugs.
