This ROM is for the TD-SCDMA and WCDMA Version of the Xiaomi Hongmi (Red Rice).
We present a full rooted and unrooted Version for this Device. The Version is in german, english and chinese.
You dont need to root ur Device with an extra tool. Its prerooted directly after install.
If you dont need root then you can install the unrooted version.
The Version is based on the original stable ROM from Miui in China. Its not a Developer Version with weekly Updates.

Thanks for putting this here. It is hard to find info about this phone in XDA. I am switching from S3 Mini. My only wish is we will get MIUI KitKat someday. The unofficial S3 Mini KitKat made it a great phone.

I have read around that have been created various custom rom because xiaomi has released kernel source based on hours, the question is:
When I go out android 9 while xiaomi has not done android stock based on android 9 missing the kernel based on android 9 then there will be no custom rom based on android 9 missing the source of the kernel?

It's possible to have Android P without kernel sources but it can take a longer time to make and most likely buggy in the first few months of development
Look at older phones such as Galaxy S2. It has Android 8.1 even tho official development ended more than a decade ago

So as I understood this rom is for redmi note 7 pro but it works for all devices so this is a gsi maybe
Man you really need to mention what is it for (rom,gsi,sgsi) otherwise no one would use it
