Has anyone tried using Cinemanow or Flixster on their developer edition that isn't rooted? I have been been emailing both companies support teams working on why their apps will not work on the dev ed.
Cinemanow gives and error 551 Flixster just shows a blank screen after selecting Movies I Own in the menu.
such a nice screen and I can't stream any of my movies.

I was embarrassed by my brother who owns a G Tablet. I was showing off my TF screen quality and HC but when I’ve tried to download apps from the market it keeps giving a message that the app is not available in my country and “The requested item could not be found”. Therefore, no Adobe products, no Pulse, Soundhound, etc…
I’ve tried sideloading Flash 10.1 and 10.2 but no luck. The G Tab doesn’t have any problems downloading apps from the market and it can play 1080p video files without a glitch. I can only play up to 720p

Have searched the full forum and google but can't find anyone with this specific issue.
I'm on CM7 in the UK and I've used OTA root keeper and the modified apk from SDX-Developers and can get my rentals to show up in the Google Videos app. Without the modified apk movies didn't show up - the app complained the Kindle was rooted even with OTA running.
When I try to play the Movies by streaming it gives me - Not available in your country -
When I try to download it it gives me - Austin Powers is in an unsupported video format.
Google video purchases work fine on a UK account - was previously able to stream and download with the (unaltered) Videos apk side loaded on my stock Kindle rom.
Anyone else had this - fixed this ?

I recent'y rented a TV show using Play Movies & TV for the first time. Unfortunately, I can't play or download the video.
When I try to play the video, I get "You're rental period has expired."
When I try to download the video, I get "Couldn't fetch license (error 0)".
I know back in July Google updated the Movies and TV app to allow rooted devices to use the app. I'm running stock 4.1.2 ROM rooted.
My phone (Razr HD MAxx) is also rooted and has no problem viewing/downloading the same title.
Are any of you able to successfully watch/download movies on your Xoom?

I had to restore an unrooted stock image in order to get it to work.
I've had the Nvidia Shield TV 16GB with only the game pad remote for 2 hours now. I did unlock bootloader and root.
Amazing device so far.
But I had installed hulu and activated my account.
The first time I tried to voice search for a show in hulu, one show that my kid watches "watch regular show" and I get a choice of google play movies and hulu which seamed fine.
few minutes later I tried the same thing but only get google play movies option. I tried several times with different words. even tried "watch regular show on hulu".
I then try other shows I subscribe to on hulu with same result.
Can't get hulu as a choice anymore.
I tried a reboot as well.
Just wonder if this is common issue or maybe it will sort itself out eventually.
Edit: I am on latest update and controller updated as well.
Has anyone had any problems with these apps working?
I have a random problem where something happens and I can't get these apps to work.
Netflix - just stays on the loading screen when the logo.I've seen the attached message once appear from the Netflix app.
Prime video - app just has the loading circle
Google Movies - app loads ok and you can navigate around but can't play a movie. Click play and a blank screen shows.
The only thing which fixes this is a phone restart. I have a unlocked UK S8 on the stock firmware.
I have spoken to Samsung support on Twitter but basically they recommended a soft reset which doesn't seem to fix it long term.
