Hi everybody!
Like many of us, I bricked my phone and the EFS partition refuses to remount...
I need a PIT file to try to repartition my phone.
I have the n9005 32Gb from Bouygues BOG, firmware version : MI7
I saw that PIT file http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2503547 but CAN WE USE IT ON ANY 9005 32GB PHONE ??
Another question, should I tick "repartition" ?
THank you a lot.
Did you try the EFS fix? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=47014662
PIT files seem quite hard to come by it seems

Thanks
It seems that this FIX will not work with my problem. EFS by Boris.X.1 screwed my phone while I was only doing a backup of my phone. Some other people tried and it just stops the bootloops in our case...
About the PIT file, I got the answer. I did everything with a pit fil from the net and I didn't brick my phone with EFS clear, nand erase and repartition. People can use it. It even seems that its pit file was for MJ7 and I flashed an MI7 rooted (VEGA)

Sorry, it worked. I mean you can use a generic pit file since I didn't made it worse but my phone is absolutely not fixed!! Same problem now!

According to this link it seems that it doesn't work anyway. The guy has the same problem coming from the use of the same app (by borisX.1 ).
He found a incomplete solution.
On my side, my "URDLV ROM" is a pack of the VEGA files + the complementary files from my original ROM.
PROBLE:M SOLVED ACCORDING TO THE LINK ABOVE. NOTHING ELSE HAD WORKED FOR ME. THANKS

Dear all,
After my phone freeze during a umount internal sdcard process, I cant turn it on and it is stuck on Samsung logo.
I can access it through Odin and adb shell, and I discovered there is a corruption table/patition there, as adb parted command reported in /dev/block/mmcblk0: "error: Both the primary and backup GPT tables are corrupt. Try making a fresh table, and using Parted´s rescue feature to recover partitions"
So, I´d like to ask if somebody could help me uploading a valid pit files to be flashed in a i9500 model?
I found a pit in other topic here, but I didnt if it is a valid pit for i9500. So, I cant flash it until Im 100% sure about it. See the pit magic report and adonis.pit attached.
I really appreciate your help!!! Tks a lot!!!

Guys, Just to post my experience on trying to revive my S4 i9500: It revived!!!
So, I did this:
1) I used the ROM I9500XXUAMDK_I9500SERAMDK_I9500XXUAMDK_HOME.tar.md5 (link: http://live.samsung-updates.com/) look for your correct ROM by region.
2) The adonis.pit file (see attached on my first post). THIS PIT IS FOR ONLY i9500 S4. Dont use it for other variant!!!!
3) Odin (I used the v3.07, but I think you could use other version)
Ps.: I dont know if is mandatory or not, but my phone was able to connect in it through ODIN and ADB SHELL (Odin is mandatory!!!). So, you need to install all USB and ADB drivers (for the adb drivers I used to AdbDriverInstaller.exe on the link: http://adbdriver.com/upload/AdbDriverInstaller.exe)
4) Put the phone in download mode, pressing button volume down + home + power. The phone will ask you with you like to continue, press up volume button to confirm
5) Open the Odin and marked Auto Reboot, F.Reset Time and Re-Partition options (Re-Partition is automatic flagged when the PIT file is marked/chose.
So, choose the ROM on PDA (Odin will check MD5, so wait it finish to validate the file) and adonis.pit file on PIT field.
PS.: Dont use only pit file. It is mandatory use together the pit file and ROM file. If you flash only pit file, you will brick your phone!!!
6) Press START.
After installation, Odin will return with a GREEN PASSED message!!!
7) The phone will be rebooted and start to finish the instalation.
In my case, the phone revive successfully!!!!
I hope this post can help other guys. Use it with carefully!!! For me, this procedure worked like a charm!!! But, use this for your own risk!!!
Good luck!!!
Yay! Congrats mate! Seems like you was out of patience and took the risk of bricking completely your phone.

Yeh friend!! I looked for pit files in many sites and foruns. I just find this pit on a one Chinese site only. So, I looked the Odia post and compared the pit structure there with the pit magic report with the adonis.pit file I got. It was very similar structure and so I decided took the risk!!!
So, the luck was with me!!!!:laugh::laugh:
Tks so much my friend!!! I hope this post now can help other newbies like me to revive their phones! It's terrible to feel this sensation of torture. hahaha :highfive:

Well if you can still get into download mode you are still safe.
Does it fail mid flash or can´t even recognize your phone?
Reboot your pc and try again.
It will fail on the ABOOT, and i have tried to reboot my pc and still no luck i have attached my model of the phone

Try this guide. It seems to be the same phone as yours.
If you are trying to go back to 4.3 from 4.4.2 then it won't be possible. You will now have to stay in KitKat only and wait for more ROM for KitKat.
Sent from my SM-N900 using Tapatalk
Did you try flashing with update bootloader ticked? If you tried that already then I think you are going to have to wait for the hk version of kit Kat for your phone to work again.
Or try this..... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=null

Its not ticked, i might just have to wait to an HK firmware to update this because any other i have tried is not working and it says PIT FAIL when i try this solution http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2613374. even though i followed the instructions step by step.
Is there another way to flash my device other than Odin? and yes ADB does not work

Hmm.
Weird.
Do you know how to use heimdall?
Use it to have a look at your pit file and compare it to the one in the CSC zip. See what all is different.
Or just post your pit here.
EDIT: Just noticed that you have a 16GB version. I don't know how to help you there, man. You need a completely different pit file. One that is designed for 16GB. But since that model was only launched in Hong Kong, I don't think you will find one from outside, unless somebody can make one specifically for you. I have been trying to learn to do that, but as of yet, I can't.
Without a proper pit file, your only options are either wait for the Hong Kong Kitkat version or try installing the Sweet ROM.

Well thats an issue because im not sure if this my right PIT FILE for this phone. Because usually it will go smoothly for these manual updates using Odin and this is my first encountering this error. And my fault i didnt backup my ROM which i should have done first before getting excited with this KitKat for my Note 3. That CSC file i got that from this site http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2613374 and just followed instructions on how to do it, but it will just give me that error when i try to apply that method. But here's the PIT file that i got from that download.
I think its on a wrong region because i got that leaked update here http://www.sammobile.com/2014/01/13...kitkat-rolling-out-to-galaxy-note-3-sm-n9005/ and it looks like from Poland? does that matter? because my Note 3 is and HK version?
I have done so many phones rooted them and install custom roms this is the first time it failed on me. And funny thing is its my own cell phone lol

You gave me the pit file from the zip. I was asking for the one from your phone.
But anyway I found one for the 16GB version somehwere. I am taking a look at it. Will try editing it to fit your needs. Give me a little while.
And yes, it matters, because the pit file determines the sizes of the various partitions. Since yours is a 16GB version, the pit from a 32GB won't work.
View attachment Modded_16GB.tar
Try flashing this tar file. Put it in the CSC part of the Odin.
Though I can't guarantee anything. First time, I am doing anything like this.

What did you do before this all of this happened? You need to be very careful with PIT files, it is a sure way to brick your phone if not done right or with the incorrect PIT file. Usually, loading a PIT file is your absolute last resort.

Flashing pit files should be the last resort after failing the proper flashing of the official firmware.
Uneducated flashing of pit files can lead to a hardbrick.
That is why I said. Try flashing the official firmware from a different pc. Or use a different data cable. Or change everything.
Still if the pit error occurs, then flash put and then the official firmware.
Download the official firmware from here
