Hi, I recently bought a used lg l7 from ebay .. but recently the owner has blocked the imei thus preventing me to use any sim, is there a way to unlock the imei?

Phone is blocked ?Is a branded operator phone or is free of charge?I unlocked an L7 with imei(cost me only 6€).I buyet from Orange and was blocked.I don't know if your phone can be unlock , if owner block imei ,but you can try ,cost only few bucs.

Yes, for me no problem. I don't know if my IMEI will be used to do some things illegal but phone was unlocked in 2 minutes and no problem for 6 months.

flash a different firmware nobrand so you are sim free

I got this phone 2 days ago ..... It is locked to the 3 network Austria.....Is there a way to unlock it to be used on other networks???If there's something here on the forum let someone please point to the link,because I could not find it.....

I think L series dosn't have hacky way to unlock sim locks, you could try paid services, just google it, i think u can find something that could help you for 10 dollars

I have downloaded two ROMs for my E610 (Spain):
Code:
379 ESP/SPAIN 20F LGE610 361.75 MiB 208
378 VDS/VODAFONE(SPAIN) 20E LGE610V 377.81 MiB 159
but none of them is operator free (unlocked): after SIM code, network is still unreachable. So my LG L5 keeps locked for the spanish operator MoviStar (also known as Telefonica).
How could I know which one of those ROMs is operator unlocked?

I have romanian official rom. I had rom from vodafone and i flashed rom from different operator. It left my phone unlocked
There was some rom international which u can use to loose sim lock

Change rom to not branded one, this should do the trick. I have E610 from Orange PL and after flashing v20 rom without brand I get rid of simlock.

You must unlock by imei,this how i've locked without loosing guarantee.My network is Orange Romania.I made it on line and cost 25 lei(4,5 euro).

Trust me,i"ve tried at home.It not possible.Only solution is that i described .I have another phone,galaxy ace and with a program from market, i've unlocked(Orange Romania).Lg phone are not that easy to unlock!

Hi! I just bought a new phone for my wife and I'm confused how to get this phone network unlocked because she got it through a contract.
I installed Slimkat ROM and it's working very very fast for this a bit slow phone, but I can't get it to work on my network (different one than my wife's).
I would like someone to help me network unlock it - FREE if possible. I don't like paying to unlock a phone because I unlocked all my phones by myself & help from this XDA!

The phone will be locked and can't use it no more and there is 2 ways to open it by unlock it or by register it and well I own 2 mobiles so I register one and still need the other one to be workin

To know if your phone is rooted download Phone INFO Samsung, it will give you all the information about your device.
