after a quick search for multiwindow... Don't know about halo but don't think its there yet...
Go to the change log and watch for it if your looking forward to it they can be found here...
I don't think it will happen for a while and we will have to wait for the dev's to get all the kinks worked out.. but there are a few work arounds if you must have it.. but search them out..

Halo: No.
Multiwindow: Not on nightlies. There are still some bugs/issues to work out so it's not merged. You need to do a self-build and cherry-pick the patch manually.
4.4 releasing two weeks after Omni went public really screwed things up - a lot of things we were working on solidifying with 4.3 have been put on hold while we stabilize 4.4 in general.

[Q] Android 2.3 Gingerbread for HTC Buzz/Wildfire ???

Just wondering, but since Gingerbread is out now: I would love to know if:
a) it can be configured to run on the Wildfire?
b) how/who/when can do it, to make it happen?
c) if there are plans to build cyanogen mod on Gingerbread
Thanks and looking forward to it
You'll have to wait a few weeks as it hasn't been put on AOSP yet meaning the source isn't available. You might see a port of the emulator image on the nexus one as that has been done before with froyo. Once we have source it should(afaik) be a case of modifying the vendors that adeadrat and Jacob are using now to accommodate for the new build.prop etc.

well: I guess that wasn't the warmest possible welcome into the developing world. Hope for you guys that it's not all too rough out there ... I really have fun trying out the different custom ROMs that there are. I would even report bugs, as that's about the only thing I could contribute ...
still am excited to see how the work in Gingerbread for Wildfire is going, since I suspect it will be the last major release that can be run on the wildfire.
PS: This thread may not be completely lost if some folks who are into developing post any announcements on Gingerbread for Wildfire here ...

This topic perfectly answers your questions : [Q]Gingerbread for Wildfire?
I'm not saying anything against you, and you're a new comer, the least would have been to read some topics.
Damn you already ported the gingerbread?! Nice work, How is it? Does it run smoother then 2.1/2.2 or is gingerbread more for tablets then this budget phone.

I know it is a bit much but is there any chance we will hame a cyanogen rc3 built on 2.3?

Jesus, guys. Give him some time.
Good stuff Jacob, hope you get it up and running.
Amazing. Looking forward to it Jacob! =D
good work guys... please refine this rom and make the wildfire a great purchase for all people as it is a great little phone..
Also i don't know if this could be done but can something be done in regards to the resolution of the wildfire... please lol or is there a replacement screen for the wildfire? ......cause i really would like to get another screen and if anyone knows where that would be great.
I only know for the resolution of the wildfire, that there is a pixel density changer (I have no idea if this is any good, but you could look into it if you really want to change it)

I'm not sure what you are asking for...
Android/Google hasn't released the Source Code yet. So no developer has it. as of right now you can use a SDK port but many of the main features aren't working.
when they goin to port ics in to my touch?
the nexus s is runnig ics all ready

I don't care what the Nexus S is running. We don't own Nexus S phones. Google has not released the source code for Android 4.0 yet. So no developer has it in their hands. EVERYTHING that is out there is a build from the SDK, so there will be flaws.
for a week or two there was a SDK port floating around here on XDA. the thread has been removed due to instability (or some other TOS)... but here is proof of my statement. http://omgdroid.com/2011/10/25/ice-cream-sandwich-4-0-1-sdk-port-mytouch-4g/

no need to state the obvious...
who cares? be patient buddy.
Im itching to try and port ICS, but an SDK port isn't what you want to work with if it can be avoided.
Title is quite confusing, I don't know is your inquiring about when ICS went to the MT4G or something else.
If you really want to use an SDK you can A) port it yourself B)Buy a nexus C)Wait for source D)use ICS theme & launcher

As far as I know, that build never made it past boot looping. I don't think the "dev" even had a MT4G, so there was no way he could get it working. He had similar posts for several devices for which he was attempting to get working ICS.

Extracted img from 'L' now what?

Hey all,
I extracted the img file from the dev preview of 'L' from the Hamerhead version.
I'm new at this and it's really cool to explore and see how these things are built. Can I just pull the framework from 4.4.4 and throw it into the img and flash that?
What would it take to be able to flash this? I'm sure I can't, but maybe someone could enlighten me on what goes into this as I'm really interested in learning.
Thanks in advance!

Well, there are some guides for porting on XDA. However, since the Android L Source code isn't released yet, you cannot build it from source. So you would need to base it on a Kitkat rom. But since the radio, bootloader and apps from Android L require android L, you cannot just do that.
So a port would need to change drivers, frameworks and some other stuff I don't understand . However, some guys already started porting Android L to the Nexus 4, and , no offence, I think they are done much quicker as you (or me). So take a look: http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/general/android-5-0-discussions-rumors-t2780976/post53701458

Info about cm13 for the G2

Hey guys, most of us know that cm13 is in the works for our beloved G2, but I don't think many of us know anything about the development.
Do any of you have any information about how the development is going?

I'm actually trying to build CM13 for the G2, launch the "brunch" command 15 minutes ago, will see how it ends.. But already tried today, ends up with an error.
Again, an error.

No, unfortunately... This time I got an error about "No private recovery resources for TARGET_DEVICE", I made some research and don't find anything explicit. I'll try more this week, but I work, so I can't do as much as I did last week-end. Also, I think @Rashed97 is the maintainer on github, so every progress came from him. We also have to wait until we have all necessary files. But I'll try again and again, don't worry dude !
so excited for trying marshmallow on g2
there's some temporary commits on gerrit, which fixes cm-13.0 build for g2.
But, as I said, they're temporary. When cm13 gets the cm12.1 features, these commits won't be needed.
Great Daniel, thanks! There is a chance that you could share an alpha cm13 with us? just for curiosity of course, I'm expecting that most isn't working at the moment
The reason no one has posted builds yet is because cm13 is unusable as a daily driver. RIL isnt fully working and I don't know what else is broken since I don't use it much. When it's stable enough, then we'll start distributing test builds.

I think we are just getting excited including me. This little phone has gone a long way. They are working hard, seems like new activity on the commits every day. I think we all appreciate the work and its hard to contain ourselves especially when we start seeing all the development activity. Seems to happen every release cycle, patience versus readiness. Look forward to the build when it's ready, I think they will give us something good.

Its really hard for the devs to know how far they are let's say they get most the bugs out but one then when they try and fix that one bug other bugs come around only to make things worse but let's hope that like last year it'll be mid November for the new android to start rolling out for us.

I mean, what do you think the ROM consists of right now? What are you planning on doing once you figure out how to do a device bring up? FYI, device bring up guides can be easily found on this very website.
The ROM is stock right now. Without repo access what exactly is going to be Paranoid about it? What features do you think are in the current source?
There is basically nothing but aosp right now. I don't understand what you are wanting to actually do.

Well. You could try cherry picking old features out of github, on top of current source, but you will probably find a lot of problems and conflicts. Basically until there is a release, you won't know what features are being brought back, so essentially you could build any ROM you want now.

Am I mistaken in thinking that the guide assumes you've already synced? I've tried to do that as outlined in the AOSPA manifest for marshmallow, but apparently that is the private git.

what you should have said is, Linux is my b*tch, i own smali and i will smoke any kind of framework that force closes on me because android is like my mind.
Taking a few classes means that we will see a new ROM on the HD2 before you finish.
No disrespect, but that task needs some talent mate, i don't pretend to have it but you need to be a hardcore android programmer to be able to even scratch the surface.
Let alone build and maintain a ROM.
With respect
