I was running CM 10.2 with twrp 2.6.3.3. Decided to give PA a try, got stuck in bootloop and cannot boot into recovery. I've tried these methods several times each over the past 9 hours.

Nothing works. I've downloaded so many drivers and programs and now my browser is acting funny (saying there's no security certificate on google.com asks me to leave the site immediately). I'm afraid one of these methods has a virus. Not sure what to do now. About to have a panic attack. Can't find any other methods to unbrick. I have no clue what happened to my recovery. Just don't know anymore... It's been 9 hours straight trying to unbrick it...

Can I confirm that you are trying to get into recovery by doing the following:
Power on holding "power + Vol Down"
As soon as you see an LG logo, release both buttons, and then hold the power button again.
When you see the Factory Reset page, press the power button again.
It can take several attempts when you have screwed things up, but keep trying and hopefully you will get in.

Hey guys
I tried the one-click root toolkit for mac from android rootz.
Something apparently has gone wrong during the root and I got some error messages and it didn't proceed. Next thing I know the nexus is stuck on google X logo and that's it. It won't load. I tried to recover through the recovery mode a couple of times but now I get the red warning sign when I go into recovery mode. This is only the second day I've had the nexus for. I feel like crying. Please Help
When the red sign appears press the volup down buttons and power button randomly until you get into recovery then factory reset
My 7 and 10 both did that. Just hold power until it turns off, then boot a recovery, wipe everything except system and reboot. It'll come up ok.

I'm having the same issue. However, the recovery I have installed is the non-functional CWM. So I can't factory reset. (I managed to once before CWM bombed, but it didn't change anything.)
I've tried several options via the toolkit. After fighting with the app all day it's finally wound up just saying it can't find adb? (I have a growing dislike for this app and have since uninstalled it.) Adb is right where it belongs and seems to run fine from cmd.
I also can't seem to flash anything via fastboot for some reason. The device throws "failinvaild id command" and fastboot immediately crashes on my laptop.
I managed to get it unlocked. However, I'm unable to flash anything to straighten it out...
Any help would be great.

Thanks for the info. My situation wasn't quite the same as my CWM was the real issue, which wouldn't run long enough to allow for the factory reset boot-loop solution. Kept at it and managed to get CWM to finish the individual formats/resets one at a time.
With a now bootable device, I'm off to replace the recovery... Thanks again.
I was trying to install Wanamlite through TWRP, but I did a couple things wrong. I have flashed custom ROMS before, but I think I was just careless this time.
The things I did wrong are:
I installed the wrong kernel, I used this one KT747-TW-JB-4.1.2-ATT-05-31-2013.zip for the GS3.
I did not click "reboot" after install of the ROM and kernel, I held down the power button. Don't know what I was thinking!
I then tried the factory ROM through ODIN as discussed in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2261573, everything in ODIN told me things were going smooth. Now when my phone tries to boot up it just vibrates every few seconds repeatedly with nothing displaying on the screen.
I thought my phone was supposed to boot right up after installation!! Any ideas?
It will be better to keep the discussion to this thread instead of the ODIN thread. However, here is a thread...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2327226
...with a very similar issue to yours. If you definitely can't get into recovery (keep trying different key combinations and timing) and Odin doesn't work, you appear to be screwed at the moment. Maybe you can try some ADB options. You will need to search for information about it and there is no guarantee it will help you.
Unless something else surfaces, Jtag repair might be the only option. You can search for information about that as well. Good luck.

Thank you, I treid the button combinations but sadly I don't think that's the problem. I'll try some ADB options and look closely at some other threads. Looks like I'll have to reactivate my iPhone 5 until I get this problem sorted out! What a bummer!
so you're able to get into download mode but not recovery, correct?

Yes that's completely correct!
since you've already flashed back to stock via odin, i want you to try booting into recovery again. just to start from the beginning and cover all the bases.
pull the battery and wait a few seconds
reinsert the battery and immediately press the recovery combo: vol up + home + power (in that order). release just the power button as soon as your device vibrates while still holding down vol up and home.
if this does not get you into recovery initially, try the method a few more times and report back.
if this does get you into recovery, wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache and reboot.
Thank you for the thorough instructions. However, it did not work. I tried 12 times with no success.
Phone just kept vibrating every few seconds and would not go into recovery.
until we find out a little bit more about this issue, i personally dont have much advise to offer. are you familiar with adb?
scott14719 linked a thread pertaining to your issue. i'm sure you read it and see that you're the only one in this situation.
i will continue to do some research.
Isn't there a Kies emergency recovery or something. Just putting it out there.

Yep, but kies has to recognize the phone, which is hit and miss. If kies recognizes the phone, it would be worth a try.
Try to flash your carrier rom again using odin. Download links can be found here http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/ once you get the PASS in odin your phone may still be stuck in a bootloop. As xBeerdroiDx mentioned , try removing the battery then go into recovery and restore to factory settings. I had the same problem with twrp ,I was stuck in a bootloop , no restore , no boot nothing. My phone is working now thank god.
Try this and report back

I just did this today, and also am out of a phone for now, apparently I lost the software, and in the process of trying to get out of the ota i blocked twrp. Anyway, does yours just go on the lg logo and have the pulsing led? Thats what mine does and I think I can get into download mode which may help. But it wont show up when I plug it in . Good luck to you, if I figure something out ill post it here.

No LED but it just loops on the LG logo over and over, no access to download at all, tried all combinations but if i hold in power+vol buttons it eventually just gives flashing red LED until i let go of the power then it starts boot looping again.

The red led is what i get when I try to go into download mode too. Just holding down the down and up takes me to that and it keeps going until i press another button. Thats odd you have no led though.
Is this just unfixable? I really need my phone back.
Its the same thing that happened to me the other day. Theres a way to fix hopefully, try this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2582142&page=3
My posts are at the end and mine is totally unrecoverable at the moment so off to Verizon for me. There are others in my shoes too but I would try that thread first to see if you can recover. If you do go thru ubuntu and only get " /dev/sda /dev/sda1 /dev/sda2 /dev/sda5 "
your pretty much hosed from what I gather. No one has all the files to recover from where I'm at. See my posts on page 13 and 14.
Hopefully someone can figure this out but I cant wait for it to happen. Good luck

No doesn't work, that fix requires the phone to get PAST the LG initial turn on logo, but it only comes on for 10 seconds then reboots again, not enough time for USB to enable on the phone itself so PC can't even detect it.
Just LG for 10 seconds, off, then LG for 10 seconds and does it over and over.
Anyone else with an idea?
I'd rather not send it away because don't want to get in trouble for having recovery and custom ROM on the phone.
Did you figure out the solution?
I'm stuck in bootloop too, can't connect to the phone to use adb anymore after i tried to install trwp. Download mode isn't seen by my computer...
HELP! I think I bricked my G2. No idea what to do
I wanted to root my phone, which I already rooted before but then I made a factory reset and afterwards I got a root detecting app and it said my phone was rooted. But it didn't seem to exactly 100% work. I had downloaded superuser and I wasn't getting any prompts for superuser access when I tried to use apps that require root.
So I followed the steps in this thread to root:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2784127
Install TowelRoot from here: http://towelroot.com/
Then install AutoRec from here for TWRP recovery: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2715496
Then if your staying stock I highly recommend you download and install SuperSU in recovery so that it's properly rooted. http://download.chainfire.eu/282/SuperSU/

Things /seemed/ to go smoothly, but after installing SuperSU from TWRP I tapped on reboot, then system (which I thought meant booting into the android OS, normally) but after the LG logo it went to a black screen with the LED flashing green and blue, and nothing happens... even if I leave it for like 10 mins nothing will happen. I tried lots of button combinations, long pressing the power button restarted the device and did the same issue, pressing volume up, down, and power turned the device off (thank god that exists) but there's nothing else I can do.
Btw my phone is on android v4.2.2, I never updated it to 4.4.2+ cause I heard that update has bugs and I was fine with my phone just working as it is.
TL;DR; phone is on 4.2.2, won't boot into android, after the LG logo during boot the LED flashes green and blue and nothing happens.
Does anyone have any idea what I can do now? Please help me I just want my phone to work again
Edit: Phone can go into download mode. But I have nothing to 'download' on it, what do I do now? Also I can access TWRP through the 'hard reset' thing (volume down and power button), and i tried factory resetting through it, but the phone still doesn't work.
I unbricked it, here's what I did, for anyone with the same issue
I went to this website http://sndeep.info/en and looked up my IMEI, which told me what country the phone was for.
Then I downloaded my appropriate firmware from http://storagecow.eu/index.php?dir=Xda/LG+G2/Stock/
And followed the steps in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476 choosing a normal flash, not a CSE one.
Phone now works absolutely fine, hope this helps anyone who bricks their phone the same way.
As the title says. My k20 is boot looping with a black screen. The LG logo no longer shows.
I had Lineage 15.1 loaded, and thought I wound make a twrp backup using Travis' Red Wolf 64bit recovery. (Greetings, fellow Hoosier)
But, that wasn't enough for me. After the backup, I wanted to try the Nethunter Kernel. I was softbricked, so I recovered the boot partition and all was fine. But, silly me figured if nethunter didnt work for me then to try out FuseBox. After flashing that, the phone rebooted into a black screen, no logo. So, now way of knowing what stage of first boot it is in.
After some fiddling, I can get it into download mode, still black screen, I only know it's in download mode because LG Up(With Uppercut) suddenly detects it. At first, it only stayed in DL mode for for a few seconds then rebooted. Durng one of those "few seconds" boots, I manage to quickly start the LG Up Upgrade process, halting the reboot. I tried flashing MP26010j and 26010k. The flashes complete successfully then reboot, but.... still a black screen and continually reboots after about 15-30 seconds..
Tips, suggestions, ritual sacrifices?
If not for the boot looping I would think that a video driver isn't loading.
alternatively, anyone know of a comparable or close enough phone under $80 usd?
Had the same problem with bricked black screen.
i fixed mine by flashing a kdz with lgup tool
Connect it to windows make sure it doesnt keep disconnecting hold vol and power buttons different ways till is stable
flashed it like 4 times till the lg logo poped up and booted up factory mode now im back to lineage/wolf revovery. Dont give up yet
I do appreciate the motivation. I just went through the process another 10 times with the 26010j kdz, and 10 with the 26011k kdz. No luck.
