Just rooted my lg g2 verizon and wifi tether shows errors once i click tether, i swtiched the settings around to generic isc and it works but now no networks appear on my laptop

Can anyone help me tether my 101 to an android phone (Orange Sanfrancisco AKA ZTE Blade).
I have rooted the phone and tried a few apps but I cant seem to get it to work.
I'd prefer Bluetooth PAN, but I'd settle with USB or turning the phone into a wifi hotspot (Infrastructure mode).
Are there any apps out there that are known to work that you'd recommend?

Dude, good luck. I have been trying to tether via bluetooth since I got my A70 with no luck.
If you have a T-Mo phone with wireless hotspot, you can use that. For some reason, the Archos won't see a wifi hotspot done by an app like Wireless Tether because it's ad-hoc, but it will see the T-Mo wifi hotspot.
That's what I do now. It's a killer on my battery, but I just make sure I have it plugged in or my extra battery on hand.
Have you tried the WiFi Hotspot on most Android phones instead? That's what I use. The 101 just finds the Wireless network then.
On mine it is under
Wireless and network - Tethering and portable hotspot - Portable Wi-Fi hotspot settings

I am able to use Wireless Tether from the market. Go into settings and put a check in the Use Bluetooth option.

I'm having problems getting my Motorola Xoom MZ604 WiFi tablet to get the internet connection working. As the title says, I just got my new T-Mobile locked LG G2 to work on my Straight Talk/T-Mobile service, data and all.
After setting up the Mobile HotSpot feature on my G2, and setting up the wifi configuration on the Xoom end (WiFi MAC address and all)...I only get h**p://androidapi.t-mobile.com/apppack/mvno.html web address stuck on my Xoom Dolphin browser. I had no connection problems though when I was running the same Straight Talk/T-Mob service on my old unlocked Acer Liquid MT. The wifi tethering to my Xoom then was pain free, from the start.

I have an LG G2 D800 At&t version. My phone is rooted correctly and Rom and kernel is fine and have been changed but hotspot still do not work.
Every setting from mobile networks have been compared to another phone in the same company. Every seems correct and with LQ Lite Editor the tether number has been changed in -1 and 0 as told by many videos. My hotspot used to work a couple days ago now devices connect but no internet access. Btw my phone network works perfecly fine 4g. Phone is also unlocked and is running with T-mobile antennas. Help plz.

i have a little problem.. 1 month ago i bought a wifi tablet and i use it also in car, so this evening i want to surf in web trought it using Wi-Fi Hotspot of my LG G2 and sorprise, the tablet is connected to the smartphone hotspot but don't get internet connection so i cannont navigate! So try Tethering Bluetooth but it was the same!
I thought that problem was about the tablet, but using another smartphone in hotspot mode the tablet connect and can navigate
I used a lot of time the wifi Hotspot in my LG G2 and it has always worked. The only thing that i made to my LG G" is that 2 month ago i made the ROOT, and since then i have not tried the hotspot or tethering.
So , what can i do to reuse the hotspot?

Did you JUST root, or did you also install a custom ROM? If you can't figure it out, you could try Open Garden. It's not terrible, but quite a few apps won't see the tablet as online unfortunately. Most work.
Yes i just root and i have a stock rom..
Been using my unlocked LG-G6 on Cricket for almost a year. Lately I've been experiencing some WiFi issues. For some reason my G6 is no longer connecting to my home WiFi network automatically when I get home. I have to go into Wifi settings and connect it manually or else it will continue to use mobile data. I've also been dropping Wifi Networks that have a good signal when I'm out and about. Any ideas?????
I'm keeping this G6 on Nougat for Hotspotting on Cricket. My other G6 lost the ability to Hotspot on Cricket when I updated to Oreo.
