Hi,
I am facing a semi brick issue and I can solve this, 'simply' by pushing .zip file to sdcard, from recovery, via ADB Shell.
But How to do it Step by Step ??
If anyone has a Tuto or has time to explain it : BIG THANKS !
Google's your friend

Look for your downloaded package of Cod Rom zip.
1. Go to,"system/framework" and look for framework-res.apk.
2. Copy and replace the framework-res inside detranspatch.zip.
3. Copy "detranspatch.zip" in SD root. Flash it!
Finally, It should work.
Tell me if you didnt get the instruction and ill make it more clearer.
Sorry i didn't get it... im new to this :/

Try to copy framework-res from Rom to patch, or just install ROM again

I understand.
BTW, do you have 7Zip installed in your PC? If you don't, visit http://www.7-zip.org/
Then, download and install it.
After that follow these steps.
1. Find and open framework-res.apk in detranspatch.zip using 7zip and delete it.
2. Go to CoD rom package zip then find framework-res.apk and drag it to detranspatch.zip
3. Place detranspatch.zip to SD card root.
4. Flash it. Now you're done.
Please read the instruction well, im sure you will get it.
Its so simple!.just go to recovery mode and do wipe data/factory reset..and its all done!

No, brother. It will not restore the original framework-res.apk if you just do wipe data/factory reset. The original framework from CoD package must be reflashed. Data wipe will not help.
Just saying brother. :good:
Can you do it yourself & send me that zip? Please?

Hi everyone, so my nexus 10 was working great about an hour ago. I'm rooted, I have CWM Recovery, I was running CM 10.2 and I wanted to try out CM 11.... So I downloaded the zip file, wiped my data, wiped cache and dalvik cache, went to install the update and got an error 7 and install aborted. So then I went to install my backup that I had just created and.... Md5 mismatch. I can't boot past the Google except for into CWM. I'm at a loss, what should I do?! I only have a mac computer and when I plugged it in, the computer wouldn't recognize it. Please help!!!!! Thanks.

Best advice I can give is to find a friend who has a Windoze system and use the Wugfresh toolkit to re-flash factory stock from fastboot:
http://www.wugfresh.com/
I found a toolkit for Mac, got her up and running. Just installed CWM again and going to root now. Thanks everyone.

If it fails just download cm11 on the computer and adb sideload the ROM.

im trying to put twrp on my tmoble g2 (d801) and everytime i attemp to put: adb push loki_flash /data/local/tmp/loki_flash and press enter all it says is "adb is not recognized as an internal or external command". i googled the problem and all that ame up was solutions to specific phones, any idea what i can do??
U should have adb installed in ur pc prior to running adb if u don't know install minimal adb and fastboot app on ur pc and then run adb from within the installed app.

Yes you must have img on sdcard then point flashify to it And flash. As I said you have to start with 6.3.2 then download correct zip for 6.3.3 and boot to recovery and flash unless someone has a img file for 6.3.3 or what ever the latest version is then you can flashift right to latest version. As far as I know you can not use the zip files. Not sure. But real easy. I promise.

I flashed 2.6.3.3 zip file using flashify all is well.

hey, I did pretty much the same thing you did. just take a deep breath. if your phone turns on at all even just the lg bootsplash it can be saved. download these files on your pc http://storagecow.eu/index.php?dir=Xda/LG+G2/Stock/Sprint+LS980/
and follow these instructions using the files from the link above. don't use the verizion files though! the steps are the same as sprints but the files are not. just make sure you follow every step. this is a last resort option but it will bring it back to life.
At&t or sprint

In twrp go to advanced then click adb sideload. With adb on your computer, copy your rom to the adb folder rename to rom.zip. Then in adb type 'adb sideload rom.zip'. It'll flash your rom for you. If it doesn't work then in twrp reboot recovery, it'll ask you to root. Swipe to yes. And repeat. Viola
