[Q] G2 Variants and their firmware parts - ROM/Kernel and Modem... - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've to admit I'm new to LG phones and quickly got myself confused after digging into a few informative posts here...
Some basic questions - please help!
Swapping Modem/Base-Band:
If flash a D802 international Modem to sprint LS980, will it work with the sprint stock rom? Does this mean G2 LS980 version converted to D802 and later can be restored back to LS980 stock, or differences between some of those G2 variants are just in their Modem & ROM?
(When traveling abroad, I was able to flash my old moto photon back and forth with foreign and sprint modems and all worked well with its rom remained the same. )
LG stock KDZ firmware:
besides ROM(the Linux OS or kernel/boot-loader etc.), does a KDZ package include Modem(radio) as well?

[Q] Does the F320L work with 4G LTE in Europe?

Hi Folks,
The F320L is the SKT mobile version of the Korean release of the G2. It is the best value model available of the 3 Korean models in Hong Kong right now. I am of the belief that the G2 can support all the 4G Frequencies used in Europe.
Can anyone confirm they have a F320L working in the UK or Netherlands please?
Thanks,
Albert

The S one is also from SKT (probably both are the same model since its marked as S/L) I got the S one and it has 4 LTE bands.
1 (2100)
3 (1800)
5 (850)
7 (2600)

[Q] Can I flash a international I9505 modem to my I337?

Hi,
I took my I337 AT&T S4 (GE45, boatloader MDL, baseband NI1) to Taiwan and is currently running on Chunghwa Telecom 4G TLE network. But I am not getting the LTE speed because CHT uses band 2 1800mhz while AT&T uses all these other bands beside the 1800mhz.
I want to flash an international version modem like the latest XXUGNG2 so I can get the 1800mhz frequency. Is this doable?
Someone said it's a bad idea to use a modem from a different variant. So would it be better if I flash an I9505 custom rom like Omega or Echo first, and then flash a AT&T suitable kernel than flash the I9505 variant's modem?
Me too but noone help us.

How to enable other LTE band or flash IN firmware for ZE500KL?

Hello,
I have an Asus ze500kl, with WW firmware, and I need to enable TDD-LTE 2600MHz(38) band. On the official website I saw that IN firmware has these specifications: TDD-LTE: (IN version only) 2600MHz(38)/2300MHz(40)/2500MHz(41). There are few topics with same problem for other Asus version, but nothing that will work for ZE500KL.
Can somebody guide us how to enable that band, or how to flash IN firmware? In my country (Romania), one of the biggest mobile carrier bought only that band for 4G, witch it's pretty inconvenient.
Thank you!
Flashing the Indian modem will affect the 2G and 3G bands.

Is anyone using LG-H870 on T-mobile LTE network?

Is anyone using LG-H870 on T-mobile LTE network? I looked at the LTE bands and it seems to cover most of tmobile lte network?
Would this work same as tmobile variant on tmobile network. Im asking as 870 has most development available, roms, twrp, etc?

XT1687 is a US model so;
LTE B2 (1900 PCS) AT&T
LTE B5 (850) Tmobile
LTE B12 (700 ac) T-Mobile
LTE B13 (700 c) Verizon Wireless
LTE B25 (1900 +) Sprint
LTE B26 (850 +) Sprint
LTE B41 (TD 2500) Sprint
LTE B66 (1700/2100) T-Mobile
And I think T-Mobile and Sprint just merged
Thank you @Nivead,
There is any way to change the radio frequencies, to support contiguous carrier aggregation on band 3, 1800(CA_C3)?
Regards
Rafael

If you have rooted device, you can check supported combinations with Qualcomm internal logging. Here is instruction: https://mt-tech.fi/en/how-to-get-4g...from-your-android-phone/#Qualcomm_diaglogging . You can then share log to me so i can then parse log file and then can list supported combinations.
There is no easy way to change carrier aggregation combinations because these are defined to hardware. Theory possible modify some NVitems but this could brick your modem.
There is different variant support 3C: https://cacombos.com/device?model=XT1805
