Best Stable ROM? - Droid RAZR M Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello, I will be giving the xt907 to my girlfriend for her birthday 01/03/13 I would like to make some customizations and adjust some setting for her convenience like adding menu buttons to the navigation bar and add/change some notification quick settings.. So that would be a baked ROM for 4.1-4.3 I guess?, which is a great stable and reliable ROM to give this away with?
ROMS I've tried:
Carbon 4.3-4.4 jittery, lags
slimrom 4.3 - slimkat 4.4 = also lags , jittery
OSE ROM 4.4 - not responsive lag
M Rom is great but doesn't have the cutomizations I want.
OSE ROM
Now I'm going to try liquid smooth v2. 37 nightly (4.2.2) //
since I'm new to the Razr M forum can you help me by giving me your most solid ROM?

[request] Custom cm10

Hi guys i have a custom rom request from those ho know how to build cm from source.
I know we have CM 10.2 and aosp 4.3 but how i use my nexus s they are to high on ram usage so i still use cm 10 because of its good ram ussage but it would be cool to have a version of cm 10 with some more features like:
-recent apps with clear boton like on cm10.1
-superuser from clockworkmod in settings like on cm10.1
-stock cm kernel with bigmem and with update surce to 3.0.96 like marimate or even marimate if it's easier
-fixed lock screen weather
-latest apollo
-halo if it's possible on cm10
-a good working camera from 4.3
Edit:also forgot about the security features from cm10.1.1 and 10.1.2
-and other tweaks to make it faster
It would be nice to have a cm10 with these features cause it won't be so demanding on rame usage at least until android 4.4 kitkat arrives

Custom ROM review Moto G Dualsim XT1033

Hi guys just post your experience with your favourite Custom ROM in XT1033 Multi Sim..
I'm really love love Paranoid Android with the Pie Control ..
Awesome ..
I didn't find it in any other ROM
In PA 4.6 beta4
I'm found system ui force close when using card stack recent.
But I didn't find it in PA 4.6 beta5
I have tried two roms gummy and PA
best one : PA
reason : stable, good response, battery, connecting to data network easily compared to stock and gummy rom
cons: comparatively less customization
gummy:
pros: has some additional features
cons: discontinued, When i used even the final version there was a rotation bug with xt1033 which was rectified by replacing some .so files from old builds, battery is not that great compared to PA
PAC-MAN ROM
pac_falcon-nightly-20141021.zip
I get navigation bar and statusbar did't show .
pac_falcon-nightly-20141020.zip
In this older build working good no issues except slim recents didnt work
I have tried almost all dual sim supported custom roms.
In all roms I got this annoying issue of not able to call from people app. On touch of a contact number in people app nothing happens.
So ended up using the same roms after converting to GPE.
I always do clean flash. I use latest philz recovery to format system, cache and data. Except usb storage, I wipe everything before flashing any rom. I even tried flashing through adb sideload after formatting everything. But I still face this issue when I flash any dual sim supported custom rom on stock 4.4.4.
If anybody has faced this issue and able to fix this, please help me.
My most favorite until now is CrDroid which provides tons of customization.

Agree with you on custom rom Cr droid. Best rom so far with best speed and no errors is Stock rom or roms that have as base stockrom.

crDroid + Xperience kernel = Speed + Power + Smoothness
I have been using N5 Experience from last one month...
Pros : lots of customization, overall its smooth
Cons : Sometimes phones hangs up randomly and reboot becomes the only option, Battery drains a bit faster than stock

[4.4.4] Speed and smoothness of KitKat on the SP

I've had quite a lot of issues concerning smoothness and speed on my C5303 Xperia SP running any ROM based off of CyanogenMod. Changing gapps have helped somewhat (I use PA Pico gapps now) and have wiped (dalvik) cache, wiped data, switched ROMs etcetera. I don't expect it to be as fast as a Nexus 6 or anything like that, and I'm not blaming anyone – it seems only I am experiencing these issues. I've settled on Paranoid neXus as in my experience (apart from the stock ROM) is the smoothest ROM available (keep it up, Nexus Prime!)
I've made this thread for people to share tips and tricks concerning the SP and CM11 on making it as smooth and as fast as possible. If you do have any tips, please feel free to share them below this post.
Top tips:
Use a small Google app (or 'gapps') package (like Paranoid Android's, which work on any 4.4 ROM) to regulate how much unnecessary software that runs on your phone from the day you installed the ROM.
Use the battery pane in Settings to find any dodgy apps which might be using up the battery under your nose.
PA is indeed great! However I'm currently using MIUI 4.3.7 as my daily driver for about a month or so. It's by far the smoothest ROM available, i just wish we could have an update to 4.4.4, as i'm unable to use a lot of apps.

Yeah, I'm a KitKat fan. I would probably start using my Lenovo a bit more if it hadn't got the stupid Lenovo 4.2.2 software on.
And plus, it's horrible to hold, as the plastic bends with even the lightest touch.
My top advice is to use minimal X+ gapps (link in my sig). These gapps not only are small in size but also removes some unnecessary stuff (which I would use anyway).
I use omnirom with PA pico gapps in ART mode with williams kernel v7 with intelliactive governor and sio and it is so smooth and fast.
Omni is not based on cyanogen.
LBL CM11 + Wheatly + Fly-On MOD = Great Performance and battery life
CM11 MrSteve with mini PA Gapps having awesome speed, smoothness and battery life

Is it worth using omnirom after the dev stopped work on it?
Omnirom is definitely the fastest available rom apart from stock based. I tried to switch to MrSteve's latest cm11 yesterday but when I loaded all the same apps I had on Omnirom onto it it was just too slow... So I'm back on a two month old build of omni! It's worth it though! Multitasking is sometimes laggy, that's the only problem I've experienced. Apart from that it's ?

Need suggestions for best rom for s4 i9500

Hey guys, I am really fed up with the bugs and issues in stock 5.0.1 of s4 i9500 edition. Snapchat force closes every now and then, chrome crashes , wallpaper gets auto changed and so on.
I would like to know which would be the best rom that I can install which can be used a daily driver, I want to install it once and use it tension-free. Can you guys suggest which ones do you use as your daily driver, which gives the best performance and maximum battery life and should be based on lollipop 5.1
I am not really into changing roms so I would like this one to bug free and stable, I do not need any additional features.
Thanks!!
The best ROM is subjective, in that everyone's opinions are going to differ. The only way you're going to know which ROM is best for you is trying them out.
Thanks for your reply. I actually wanted everyone's opinion so that I can know which ones are very stable and working great for them and then I can go ahead and try them and select the one out of them that works best for me
Euphoria rom is best as if i think so....
But if u want to use samsung apps, airview, air gestures halcyon rom would be nice
For better battery backup go for stock rom which is somewhat stable now.
Aurora is the best
All air functions work fine and some of the note features are there and in adition very stable
after many roms tests
Been using Aurora V2 - crashed yesterday while in a call. A big NO for me, but otherwise the rom was more than satisfactory overall. I have automatic call record enabled, so could've been that... not sure.
Wanna try Halcyon next...
For me,
AOSP-based ROM: GearCM and everything based on that ROM
TW-based ROM: Doctor's S6 port/Halcyon/MBP with VoLTaqe Kernel
Sent from my ASUS_Z00AD
My vote is for darklord...
AOSP : Gear CM, Resurrection Remix and Euphoria
T.W. : Aurora S6/S6E V3.0, Dark Lord and Halycon.
Kernal : VoLTaqe Kernel and Light-Weight-Kernel.
Doctor's Rom is also good but somehow didn't work good for me.
**Happy to Help**
Cyanogenmod. Very stable and fast.
Uptill now, am on stock rom, which has been stable . However, waiting for CM 13, as Android 6 is not going to come for s4. Problem for i9500 which has exynos chip and as yet unreleased source code, CM 13 will be delayed. Just released cm 13 for snapdragon i9505. Running CM 12.1s in i9300, s3 for the past year. Very stable.
Sent from my LG-H818 using XDA Free mobile app

Stock(Like) Android 6 ROM

I currently have THIS rom on my N4, but for some bugs I want to change..., so I was searching for a ROM that is the closest thing to stock android, I don't want any customisation or extra features... There are a bunch of roms but all are customised somehow and don't look stock... Any suggestions??
You could use cm13 or an aosp rom with pico gapps and use the launcher you want.

Well, been searching for a AOSP, but there is only one and it has a GPS problem and a few others...
@alipashang77 Try this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/development/fake-nexus-rom-nexus-4-t3230268
like Davoss says, Fake Nexus rom is the best for you. Everything stock. It even has all the google apps. Stable. Only has few bugs.
For the greatest stability, I advising sticking with rooted stock LP.
I personally like using Minimal OS 6.0.1 which is AOSP with Mini 6.0 Gapps found here. It's a nice lightweight ROM with all of the 6.0 features. The mini gapps give you the Google Now launcher, Now on Tap, some popular gapps other than the camera I think, and some small customization options for the notification led, nav bar hight/width, and some other misc options. Battery life is pretty great too, I get a full days use, sometimes a day and a half with Doze overnight.
All right in Fake Nexus ROM (02.02.16). This Stock more you will find. Try.
Try Rrexus Rom it is ok.
