I lost my huawei u8800 cable and i am using now , s3 usb to micro usb cable. I have lost my original usb to ac wall so i bought from ebay huawei labelled and now i am using with it this s3.
I bought a new battery from ebay but i did not use. because i am afraid , this s3 charge can destroy my battery?
Edit:
In s3 usb cable, there is nothing written about volt. In usb to ac,there :
ac dc adapter input 110-240v 50-60hz/0.1a
output dc 5v+-0.5v
500ma+-50ma
I think it doesn't matter.

Yes it can, but you'll only get a trickle charge from a PC with Samsung products.
meaning i can't charge it in the car as well is it?

Yeah, sure, but you'll need a usb charger for the lighter and it will probably only trickle charge.
There's an adaptor that you can get that modifies the connections specifically for Samsung products so they get a full charge from USB sockets that aren't the charger. I've had a look on ebay buy can't find one. I got one just for a couple of quid, so if you can find one of them then it'll solve the trickle issue.
I'll keep looking and see if I can find it for you - you do the same
Edit: Found it... http://goo.gl/3iqI1
I charged via USB from my PC this night. It went from around 25% to 99% in 8 hours. So it's charging, but not too fast.
It is a 7.7 forum not 7 plus and about the problem the device is actually charging from usb but not showing, turn your device off while connected to pc and you will see yourself

It all depends on the charging current. A USB port only provides a maximum of 500mA whereas the Samsung charger provides up to 2000mA (2A). That's the reason why every tablet out there comes with its own propietary charger.
Turning the tablet off is the best you can do when charging via USB.

There are motherboards with 1Amp USB ports, mine has one but it charges the device at a very very slow rate!
Hello everyone, I just bought my Nexus 7 from Ebay (from an UK seller) but the wall charger for UK doesn't work here in my country so:
Can I use the PC to recharge it trough micro USB?
If I can recharge it in this way, recharging needs more time?

1. Yes, you can recharge over your PC USB
2. Yes, unless you have high output USB ports (default charger is 2A, most PC USB ports are 500mA to 900mA) so the charge time is longer.

Thanks,
this feature of my motherboard can help me in some ways? http://www.asrock.com/feature/appcharger/index.asp
You can only charge it if the screen is off or better yet if the device is off. Give it 12 hours for a full charge over standard 500mA USB.

Yeah, if you use your nexus 7 while its plugged in to the USB port of your PC you will loose battery, in Particularly if you are gaming lol. Mine when down from of 7% in 30 mins. Use a wall charger.

As I saild in the OP i cannot use that wall charger in my country
Surely you could buy a separate microUSB wall charger from somewhere in your country.
I've been using HTC and galaxy s2 charge. Had no problems and charging is very fast. Went from 30 to full in 2.5 hours

Thanks for the answer I will use the one of my note
You could always use a power adapter as well adapt from us plugs to your countries plugs
Chargers....
A Standard AC USB Charger will do the job in most cases, I'm using a powered Logitech USB Hub that just charges my BT Headset, my Galaxy S2 and now my Nexus 7.
If you want some faster charging times a Standard iPad USB charger plug should work, (they're rated for 2.1A instead of the 1A of the Normal iPhone chargers) just use the MicroUSB cable that you have and plug it in.
In response to your App Charger driver, it's probably that AsRock has built their USB ports and plumbed it in to higher +5V Amp line on your motherboard ie. they can deliver more power than the Standard USB Spec (500mA), I'm guessing at their 40% faster claim the port is delivering 900mA.
Good luck! The Nexus 7 has a 4326 mAh battery (ie 2.6x bigger than the Galaxy S2 Battery) so it'll take much longer to fill than all the Smartphones
Hello
I wonder if I can use my Tomtom USB car charger, which delivers 5V 1,2 A, for charging of my Samsung Xcover2, wich has a 1700 mAh cell, and whose wall charger delivers 5V A.
Was do electronics specialists think about this difference (1,2 A vs 1 A) :
- is it about the same for charching my phone ?
- will it charge slower or faster, but with zero risk of damaging it ?
- should I avoid using it because it could damage my phone, and only charge the phone with a USB car charger that delivers 1 A ? I have already ordered a genuine Samsung USB car charger, but on hollidays it would be convenient to carry only one car charger, as USB cables can easily be switched between the mini USB output for Tomtom GPS and the micro USB for the Samsung S7710...
Thank you for your advice

You can use this charger if the Volt are the same.
The Mobilephone internal would say how much Ampere to take From the charger and put in the Akku.
It could also have 2A like mine...
Yes it would be Faster... the more empty the Akku is the more Amp it would take up... if the usbcarger can bring it!
Yes, of course you can use it. Consider that you can use it even as mp3 player while charging your smartphone. You have to accept usb communication that is being aske at the first moment you connect the decice to the usb port.
I tried it by myself and it works great.

YES
YEAH.
You can.
Hi,
I was wondering if using a 2A charger with a normal Micro USB cable will charge my Note 3 as fast as the same charger with a Micro USB 3.0 cable?
Considering that USB 3.0 only delivers a higher output compared to 2.0 when plugged into a PC, I guess it makes no difference when using wall chargers?
Am I right ?
Thanks in advance,
Ben
USB from a PC will always be less than a dedicated charger whether it is usb 2 or 3. A 2 amp charger is what I use but also pay attention to the lead as some are far better at handling higher currents than others as I found out trying various leads whilst running the app at https://play.google.com/store/apps...=organic&utm_term=galaxy+charging+current+apk

The phone detects if you are using a wall or usb charger, the second is considerably slower. Some usb chargers cheat to seem wall chargers so charges much faster.
What if I use a micro USB cable that is attached to a wall adapter plug, will it still charge fast on note 3?

Charging is not depend on USB 3.0 or 2.0, it acts differently only while transferring data. Otehrwise for charging both works similar.
The stock wall adapter has 2Amp output and I’ve a power bank with same output and the Power Bank provided with a short USB 2.0 cable and with both it takes same time to full charge. So no issues with the cable.
I'm using a samsung galaxy s7 fast wall charger and usb cable and my mate 8 just sticks at 21% without budging. Is it the charger or the cable that is most important? I feel like it should at least charge some with this. Do I need a special USB cable just to charge?
You need a huawei fast charger!
QC 3.0 also does some good but not as faster as huawei original

Yes, you need an Official Adaptive Fast Charger Kit for Huawei Mate 8.

You can charge the phone using any usb charger. Quicker charging will only happen when using a Huawei fast-charge compatible device, of which there are not a lot but you don't need the original one for that as well.

Nope, any micro-sd cable will do.
