I wanted to try this http://rootzwiki.com/topic/33384-tutorial-how-to-usb-otg-as-default-sd-card/
However when I got to the paragon bit it says that no ntfs partitions are found. Does this app work on 4.4 or not?

Can you do it in TWRP then?

Yes, works linke a charm. All my backups are now directly written to an USB-stick and the amount of free internal memory increased by almost 4 GB
Edit: upps, I think I understood you wrongly. I was thinking on USB-stick on OTG, not on MTP-mounting. That I didn't check up to now.

I went into twrp and.formatted my nexus 4 internal storage and now I cant boot into stock jelly bean, what should I do?
Connect your phone to your PC and use the Nexus toolkit to restore the custom ROM. At least that's how I would do it.

By formatting you wiped your drive and no longer have a rom installed..

What is your kernel? Have you make a test with another kernel?
You may need to format the card according to the kernel. I had to switch my card to exfat32 for jedi x12.
SGH-T889.Rooted.Jedi X12
I changed everything including kernel now my internal sd dont show up
