How could I have the glance like lumia 925 in my nexus 5? Is there an app for that? Thanks.

OmniROM has this option. It works quite nicely.
Glance?

I'd imagine it would murder the battery on a N5...

I loved the camera effects for the galaxy nexus and used them regularly. I was just wondering if I could some how get them into my nexus 4

Actually with the gnex on 4.2 up I don't see it already. Ever since the camera became similar to the n4 the effects have gone. Either that or I'm doing something wrong because I can't get it to show anymore on my old gnex

I think they took away the feature from 4.2 onward cuz they thought it wasn't worth the gimmick.
But you can try to rename the Gallery2.apk from a Galaxy Nexus 4.1 rom or older and install it to the N4 and see if it work, maybe not though since it might not have the correct camera driver.
Hey guys,
am I the only one who's not entirely happy with the new camera in Android 4.3.
The first thing i noticed is that many of my photos seem to be a little more washed out than they used to be.
And the second thing: Whenever i take a photo sphere with my N4, the corresponding location is not saved to the picture. No matter if location is turned on/off in the photosphere settings.
Does anyone have an idea for fixing these issues? Or at least for the second one? Or have you noticed similar behavior?
Thanks in advance
I don't have those. For me the camera seems taking better pictures than 4.2.2 and flash seems stronger. But I think camera has become a bit more slow in starting.

I noticed the washed out pictures as well compared to 4.2.2. 4.3 has too many problems. I reverted it back to 4.2.2.

I noticed the wash pics too, 4.3 isn't a big jump, only the colors and touch drivers.

I'm also waiting for this to improve so that I can go back to 4.3.

You check these washed out pics on other monitors? It's probably just the colour on your N4, not the camera.
^^ nope. Its not the screen colors. I used PA 4.3 version which has screen calibrated colors.

something I said offended you or unusual?
I trade pics with my wife. She has an HTC One X. Pics she takes that look good on her phone don't look as good once they are on my phone. Pics that I take that don't look so good on my phone look much better on her phone. Colors are more vibrant on her phone no matter which camera was used and colors on my N4 do look washed out no matter which camera used.

I had the same problem with the missing location. Just go to Google settings and enable location access for Apps under the location settings... After that the camera stores the location again..

Guessing this is old news but I just found out. Pretty cool.

News to me, thx!
News for me too, but this camera sucks big time so I probably won't use it much.

The rom I'm using on my Galaxy Nexus uses the new Moto X camera and it really really takes pics better. The stock app always takes blurry apps. CM Focus helps but I like the Moto one.

News to me. However, I am questioning the usefulness of it -- considering the focus and other camera functions are touch-screen. Just another good-to-know-it-is-there "feature" I suppose.
Cool!
Thanks didn't know that!
Wow your right. That's what we get for not reading operators manual.

Hello,
I'm a little bit scarried about my stupid girlfriend, so my question is: ..
How can I disable the "Last Seen" notification on WhatsApp?
I have a 4.4.2 Nexus 4.
Thankyou.

Guess that might work too, but the app I recommended will also help keep other things from prying eyes, especially since there seems to be a trust issue.

My friends, if you have a dangerous girlfriend like me.
You can use WhatsApp Plus.
Amazing, fast and you can hide the last seen!
I have a question.

Did you mean that you want to use the nexus 5 camera app on nexus 4? If that's the question, then the answer is probably "no". As nexus 5's camera uses a different hardware than that of nexus 4.
BTW, RIP English.
