After installing safestrap 3.65 my SELinux status became "not strong enough" does anyone know what this means?
I don't know what it means, however I was on MJ7 on beans B3 and my phone said that aswell. I flashed beans B5 and it now says permissive.

Yes it was a line that beans changed in the framework for it to say that. Since he revised build 5 he did not add that back in which is why it now says permissive.

So I flashed the tmobile wicked rom v4 for samsung galaxy s4 onto my at&t s4 with ktoonsev kt touch wiz kernel 6-23-2013. Everything seems ok but when I hit the power but for the screen to go asleep or what it is, it looks like a tv turning off like on a aosp rom. Is this normal or should this not be like this? And can I get awesome beats equalizer on this stock rom aswell?

KT kernel 6/23 has a few bugs on a couple roms, not naming them either, roll back to the 6/10 version, should fix the problem. been there done that.
Oh yeah, do forget to wipe dalvik, and cache before you flash, but I should have to tell you right? You know that.

are you able to see your EXT flash drive?
I did the same thing as far as loading this rom onto my att 4.2.2 MDB baseband. I loaded KT kernal 8-20-2013. Im still having difficulties getting LTE support. All I get is 4G thats it....I changed the mobile network and still no luck. I did install loki-doki as well. Im very new to this so if anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated. ..thanks guys

i tried running wicked through my gs4 i337nc1 ad now it is in boot loop, battery charging does not seem to be working and i cant get into download mode. Screwed royally or simply screwed am I?............
I read a few articles saying that Google has announced 4.4 will be coming to the S4 GE shortly after the Nexus 5 releases/ships.
Is it likely that I'll be able to install this ROM on my regular I9505XXUBMGA?
Also what are your thoughts on 4.4 coming to the S4?
Still waiting for 4.3. in other words 6-12 months hopefully.

You can install GE firmware on the i9505 as it's the same hardware. HTC said they'll have 4.4 on the One GE in 15 days, so I assume the same goes for the S4. The touchwiz version will most likely come after the S5 is released.

Awesome will definitely be flashing the GE 4.4 as soon as someone rips and uploads it then.
Most likely once their done updating their current devices to 4.3 you can expect 4.4 next.. i know HTC came out today and announce it will have 4.4 on their GPE in a few weeks and Sense roms by the end of January

I'm on EE with a Galaxy S4 in the UK and Kies isn't rolling the update out yet....not for me anyway!
GPE edition hopefully soon. HTC have said Sense will be updated within 90 days. Hopefully Samsung make an announcement in regards to official 4.4 TouchWiz edition.

4.3 was rolled out via ota for nexus devices at July 24. Two weeks after it was rolled out for GPE devices. Then after less than 3 months the touchwiz 4.3 update came in.
Samsung rarely anounces time frames for their updates but if we follow the pattern above, the GPE 4.4 update should come in 2-3 weeks and the tw version in 3-4months.
In the meantime you could flash your favorite custom AOSP based rom like CM (should come very soon as the nexus 4 already got a booting 4.4 version) to satisfy your kitkat cravings while waiting for the official update.
Now let's play the waiting game and see who gets to make the first kitkat build for the s4

Perhaps Samsung will release 4.4 without a new flagship device. It depends on the objectives of the company.
But for 2014 April or March the S5 is due... we only have 2 months left in 2013.

Some reports say S5 will be announced in January so all of Samsung's efforts are probably going into polishing the 4.4 experience for that.

My Nexus 7 2012 is running official 4.4.2. When i purchased this 3 days ago this was running 4.3 and a kitkt 4.4.2 update ready.to install. Maybe you can check for software updates on your settings or manually search the net and download it and sideload.

I've been looking around and all the other variants have some kind of GS5 ROM.

You can use sacs v4 ROM with s5 settings. It includes s5 icons and the s5 launcher plus s5 MMS.

None of Sac's roms V3 or V4 work on Sprint SPH-L720, tested by me. I was able to installed Version 3 and boot to it but Wi-Fi radio On/Off function does not work, Screen Mirroing does not work NFC does not work...useless. after all credit to Sac23 for his dedication and hard work to the community. hope next version is better and fixes all the bugs.

Could also be user error really. Did you make sure you are at the latest firmware? Follow step by step on how to install? Also recovery plays a big role now so yeah.

Yes, I have TWRP 2.7.1 installed, My phone is rooted using Towelroot. I have installed many rooms just to try, (this is my spare test phone) I was happy with results look and feel of only two (PhoeniX.ROM.V9.XXUGNF1.I9505.FIXED.by.tamirda) and (i9505 - S5 RivalStorm V2.1) but both only allow Radio/Modem for CDMA and are both international.
RivalStorm V2.1 seems to be the best room out of 5 or 6 I have tried, this room has every feature working and has the look and feel of the S5, that being said I will try your recommendation anyways and will post back my results, I did tried it before but I could not get it installed using TWRP, maybe I should use CWM instead.
But honestly I would be very happy to see RivalStorm V2.1 rom being domestic (US Carier...Any)

Sacs V4 works flawless on my L720. Do you have the 720T? Are you on the NAE build? if not, it is highly recommended you flash that version then follow the OP to the T.
I bought a galaxy s4, unfortunately it wasn't able to install CM since it had a new firmware. so I'm asking here so I don't run into this with the G2. I'm planning to get the att or tmobile version. do you still have to go back to stock att firmware? I also want to root.

Of course you can flash cm11,which I did when I got it. Right now I'm using cloudy flex 2.4
