Use mobile odin. In supersu enable survival root.
Note 3 rooted knox 0, bootloader locked, my last Samsuck crap. I want freedom.
Hi all,
Kingo released the a new version of their software (1.3.2) in which they indicate that it now supports rooting the note 4 N910C.
Did anyone try this yet and if so, can they verify that knox is not tripped in this rooting process?
Also, please do tell which baseband and kernel did you have when you rooted using Kingo
I just got the note 4 and would love to know if this method keeps the warranty. I intend to root and keep the original ROM, just want to get TB on the phone to clear up the bloatware.
Thanks in advance.

As much as I know there is none...also there have been many threads about the very same question.
Hi I Just did the 2nd update of lollipop 5.0 with software version ending in BOD3. But i have seem to have lost my root access. I'm very familiar with rooting my phone. But not sure what I need to do on this new process. If someone could lend me a hand that would be great. Thanks

How did you update? Did you have KNOX 0x0 before updating?
If you have tripped KNOX flag already (0x1) then just use CF Autoroot, i assume you have an SM-G900F since you mentioned BOD3.
I have a Note 3 (SM-N900W8 - Telus) that I have had for about 6 months. I have had an original Galaxy S and an S3 which were both rooted.
My phone updated to Lollipop so I had to forgo rooting since everything I read said I couldn't root 5.0 with the new bootloader.
I read about downgrading to Kitkat 4.4.2 so I could root and yesterday I took a chance and did it. I used the official 4.4.2 ROM from Sammobile
and using Odin, I flashed it and after a few tries, I got it to work. Now that I am back on Kitkat, I tried Kingroot (the APK) and it failed to root
my phone.
De La Vega now says it can not root 4.4.2, so my question is, is 4.4.2 rootable? I have read a lot about rooting and there are so many opinions
about what works and what doesn't that I wanted to post here to see if I could get a consensus about this. I know many people are rooted
on 4.4.2, but I just want to know the best way without tripping Knox.
Thanks,
Ian
Anyway, I used Kingo Root on my PC to root my Note 3 and it worked. Knox was not tripped and everything works properly.
