I had an s4 with ota 4.3 mk2 installed and Knox already tripped. I rooted it using cfauto root, flashed cwm and flashed virgin ROM 3.1. The phone works awesome but I no longer have root for some reason. When I click on superSu it tells me that the binary is not installed.
Do you have an att phone or Canadian, because att 1337 cannot have cwm at 4.3.

ROOTED ATT MK2 using Tapatalk
Hello,
I just rooted my S4 ATT I337 followed this threat: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2565758
I'm currently have my phone on MK2 build. Anyone know how I flash my phone with Odin so I can install CM10?
You cannot. We don't have a custom recovery. We have locked bootloaders. All you can do is root.

SM-N900R4? Strange. If you download Wanam Xposed and Install the Xposed Installer, you can change your System Status to Official, and then set SuperSU to Survival Mode when updating to see if you can save root on OTA. If not, you'll just lose root, but be updated.

You've already tripped your Knox counter, there is no way of re-sitting this currently so no need for Kingo.
Upgrade to 4.4.2 using the various listen methods on Odin, the use CF-Root. It's the safest, it trips knox but since you already have this is irrelevant.
Do u kmow where I can find the official 4.4 for us cellular that I can flab using Odin

Reroot. But as your device is not really universally supported, you will have to find a way to root on the new firmware.

i have a s4 SGH-I337M and i was wondering if kies is still safe to use when upgrading stock firmware? i have already rooted and installed TWRP and i am currently running stock koodo 4.3. also will kies unroot my phone if i use it to upgrade the traditional way?
Well. I went for a leap of faith. After backing up my phone with TWRP I decided to use Kies to update my phone with no issues. Now I'm at 4.4.2 with out root. Dose anyone know how to root and install TWRP on the baseband I337MVLUEMK6? Or to downgrade to 4.3?

Did you try to root with Kingo root and install TWRP as usual ? I don't know much about Canadian version of S4 but I think you can downgrade using odin.
I originally rooted my i337 s4 using motochopper but then updated to kit kat and of course it wiped my root. Recently I rooted using towel root now I'm rooted again. I would like to flash an official Rom, but not sure the steps I need to go through first.
