I see you're really looking for some feedback, so here is my penny worth: it's probably older version BT in your car, that could be a problem, since phone has latest one and streams nice at least to my BT headphones, for example. My car is 6yrs old and I don't even have streaming option, at least none that I can find or make it work. If I was you I could probably try to see if I could get updated software for the radio, either from the dealer if factory, or from manufacturer if aftermarket set. I know my Toyota had at least 3-4 software updates, mostly maps, but also programing. But I don't care, calling over BT works, otherwise I listen to the car radio, cut CD to use in the player, or hook up wire to aux input. I know this is not exactly what you're looking for, but without knowing any details about your car, I can't even point you out to proper car forum, where other people could have similar problem with different phones and already found solution.
BTW your English is fine, no reason to be sorry.

What model car do you have? I have had no issues with my car and the Note 3 connection, streaming works just as good as every other phone I've owned. The post above mentioned about car firmware updates, that would be a good thing to check. My car has had 2 software updates to address issues with the bluetooth system. My car is a 2011 Kia Cerato (Forte in US the market), both updates were in the first year, the first one only 3 months after getting the car.

streaming music via BT to car

I am looking for a cheap BT car head unit which intigrates well with the kaiser. It also needs to stream music/mp3.
Anyone had any experience
I have a vauxhall astra 05..and would like to keep steering wheel controls.
Has anyone had experience with a parrot ie the 6100 which sttreams music via blue tooth ?
Your Astra has an iPod/Aux input?
Use the itech R-35 clip and a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable to connect to your iPod/Aux jack and you're done.
If you use a long cable to clip the R-35 to your shirt "voila" handsfree with calls over your stereo. I found this the cheapest and best working solution.

Parrot MK6000 + Audicom
Hi,
I have installed a Parrot MK6000 to get audio streaming with my Kaiser into a VW Golf GTI. I used an Audicom SW101C to get the steering wheel controls integrated. If you are going to use steeering wheel interation, just get an MK6000, not the MK6100 as the 6100 has an LCD display and it will cost more. The purpose of the steering wheel integration is to make it all look factory and integrated, but get the audio streaming, which the 3000 doesn't have.
http://www.audicom.it/prodotti2.asp?subcategoria=47&prodid=120&tipo1=&tipo2=
I initally had loads of trouble getting the Kaiser to pair with the Parrot, but since they have released firmware version 1.03, it has worked like a charm.
http://www.parrot.com/documents/en/support/mk6000_notes.txt
http://www.parrot.com/forums/english/viewtopic.php?id=5127
The audiocom unit has worked very well at integrating the steering wheel controls. Their website lists the >2006 Astra as compatible, which would be the AH Astra. I had the old TR Astra, which did not have steering wheel controls.

I bought a sony xplod deck that supports bt audio streaming and headset profile as well. It shows your signal strength and battery leven on the display and what services are connected (BT audio and/or headset)
I stream music to my device using resco radio which then i send to the stereo through BT and if i get a call, it fades the music out, rings and i can talk on the phone. soon as a i hang up the music fades back in and all is well
best part about it, the deck was less then $60 from best buy!
Also the deck has a USB port to put jumpdrives and some usb dongle/mp3 players, but i just use it to charge my device when driving long trips and the HSDPA/Bluetooth/GPS use would kill a device in under an hour
If you want a "portable" option and yr car has aux input. I will recommend Sony DS200/220. Unlike most BT stereo headset I tried, it can charge battery while playing.
For car header, I would recommend you to bring yr Kaiser to a local store and try it out. I tried many brand/models (Sony, JVC, Pansonic ..etc) at Fry's and found that both Sony model (BT1500 and 3000 ??) sound very poor (very mechanic) compare to other brand. I ended up follow the user review from Clutchfield and brought the JVC BT1. And I am happy w/ the the sound quality.
Just FYI, Kaiser does have problem in returning to A2DP after phone call. (Search the other discussion in this forum).
Problems with Parrot MK6100 and ATT Tilt
I'm having some major problems with my hands free Parrot MK6100. Talk about an overpriced piece of crap! I contacted Parrot about the problem, and this is the response I got! WOW, the Fench and thier customer service!
Matthew,
I would like to make something very clear to you. It is not Parrot or any other companies job to do your research before you make a purchase. You stated everything worked great until YOU got a new phone. Nowhere on our website does it state that the HTC Tilt is compatible with the MK6100. If you would have looked at our forum, you would see other people with HTC phones reporting audio issues a while back. If you would have called us or sent us an email, we would have told you this information & suggested against getting that phone. It is your personal responsibility to educate yourself before making a purchase & especially with technology products. Ex. I just bought a camcorder & I spent a week researching until I made my purchase & I will stick by my educated purchase & not complain at all. I think my point is clear & now we can move on.
This is a dynamic industry. We have no control over how Windows, LG, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, Nokia, Motorola, Treo, & HTC, design & develop their hardware & software to work with Bluetooth. Ocassionaly there are problems with phones. We do the best we can to resolve these problems as fast as possible even if it is not our problem to begin with. How many of the cell phone companies that you have talked to do that? They always "pass the buck". We do not. We take pride in our products & have a much larger phone compatibility base than any other car kit on the market. We also make a superior product.
First, We have no problems with the contacts synchronizing with the car kit here in the lab. All contacts from the SIM & phone memory synchronize. Second, the audio issue will be resolved. We work directly with HTC & have been working on this issue for a while. As Jim stated, we just released a fix for our 2 most popular car kits, the CK3100 & the 3200LS & that we expect a release for the MK6100 soon as well.
Please perform the following & see if your contact list will synchronize.
Delete the phone from the car kit (Settings - Paired Devices - your phone - Delete)
Delete the MK6100 from your phone's Bluetooth settings (Long press the MK6100 - Delete)
Reset your phone (Remove the battery for 1 minute, replace & restart)
Once the phone is back on, search for add new device from the phone's Bluetooth settings, select the MK6100, & enter pin 0000.
I will keep your ticket open & inform you of any new information about the MK6100 & the Tilt audio issue. By the way, the phone is actually turning off hands-free when this happens, not the car kit. You can get the audio on the kit by pressing the Menu on the phone & select Turn Hands-free On. Please do not do this while driving for obvious safety reasons.
We may have other options for you if you absolutely can not wait for an update. Let's try moving in a positive direction please.
Thank you for choosing Parrot

Terrible response, what an .....
But, since I allready own a parrot, I'll keep my head down until its time to buy a new system.
Good luck with syncin the music
sony xplod is very good. i have the BT2700 model.. 180USD but hard to find.
I recently upgraded my car stereo to a new Alpine CDA-9887 with the KCE-400BT.
Syncs right up with my kaiser.. Within 30 seconds of turning the key on, I can make full calls, and stream music with full play/pause/forward-backward control...

nissan bluetooth handsfree woes

ever since my G1 updated from 1.1 to 1.5, it has not been compatible with my nissan handsfree bluetooth system. i waited until another update, and now that i have my nexus one and it still doesn't work, i'm a little disappointed.
i am able to pair my phone to the car, but when i make or receive a call the car speakers shut off (as they should) but the audio comes out of the phone. i don't even know about whether or not the other people can hear me.
is this a known android issue? it may even be a nissan issue, but i'm sure it can be fixed within android (seeing as how my g1 used to do this). i'm 99% sure there's no easy way to update the nissan bluetooth firmware to help this.
anyone experiencing the same thing and is there some fix out there or some effort?
Well, I don't have a android device or nissan hands-free, but I do use a Touch Pro 2 with my sync equipped ford. Anyway, I had a very similar issue, and I had to go into the bluetooth manager and change a setting that had it default to audio over the hands-free device, rather than some other thing... It has worked great ever since then. Oh, I also learned that I had to answer the call using only the car's answer buttons otherwise if I hit answer on the device it would again send the audio only to the phone's speakers. Of course that seems logical, but my phone prior to that would allow me to answer and speak through the hands-free with either method of answering the phone.
At least it's something to look into.
Also, the phone I had before the TP2 required that I update my sync software before it would work. However, it wouldn't even pair before the update, so I don't think that's your issue. I don't know what the procedure is for updating your nissan firmware, but sync simply involves downloading a system version checker to a usb drive, plugging it into the car, return to computer and download available updates, and then return to car to install updates. I would guess nissan would have a similar method?
I realize we're dealing with two completely different systems here, but I figured I would chime in anyway since I had a very similar situation.
My Acura handsfree works like a charm. Perhaps you have too many contacts that are syncing?
awee man... I was hoping that there were no nissan/infiniti bt issues w/ this phone
I'll find out Saturday when I finally pick it up from the fedex place

I also just got an N1 and my Nissan handsfee bluetooth lets me voice-dial but the call doesn't get routed through the handsfree system. I have to take the phone out of my pocket and activate the speakerphone. Any solution would be much appreciated.
I don't have teh same system. Like the previous poster I use the N1 with my Ford Sync. If a call is initiated from the phone it starts out in "private" mode using my phone's speakers. If initiated from the car it uses the car's sound system. There's also an option in there allowing you to choose the default sound output of calls. I have the latest firmware installed.
That actually makes sense.. my previous phone always used the speakers which was a bit of a shock sometimes when I was sat in a car park wanting to make a quick call. Clearly it still has some rough edges on some cars.

[Q] Droid X & Car Receiver Bluetooth Problems

Having problems with my Droid X and car system connecting via Bluetooth.
Random problems:
Often fails to connect at all, other times connects fine or partial.
Transfers the phonbook sometimes and other times it does not.
Connects the audio fine and not the Hands Free.
Sometimes I need to re-pair the entire setup to get it to work at all.
Sometimes I need to power both the phone and receiver down and back up to get it to work.
Does anyone have any ideas on a solution?
It's driving me crazy, want to use the Bluetooth both for the Hands Free and audio streaming.
Droid X, Android Version 2.2.1, System Version Verizon.2.3.340.MBB810.Verizon.en.US
Car System:
Kenwood KDC-X994, built in Bluetooth.
Bluetooth version 3.12.0
My wife's iPhone works fine with this receiver using the Bluetooth.
Thanks
Sorry, my DX connects every time I get in my car (Ford Sync system). Have you tried connecting it to other Bluetooth devices to see if it's maybe the phone itself?
No I have not tried it with another system.
An excellent idea but at this time I do not have access to another receiver with Bluetooth.
Did get an answer from Kenwood that it was not tested with the Droid X but was tested with the Droid.
Wonder if it could be a phone or receiver problem. I need to come up with a way of testing both units on a continuous basis.
The last two days it has connected just fine, but Friday evening it was giving problems.
Thanks for your help.
You can try finding a little cheapo Bluetooth USB receiver from a local store, use it with your laptop or PC, and try pairing your phone with it. Then after you're done testing just return it (make sure there's an open box return policy though!).

Thanks,
I will give that a try, maybe this weekend if I get time.
i have the same phone and Kenwood radio. What I needed to do was this:
Delete any bluetooth devices in the Kenwood radio.
Delete the paired Kenwood device in your phone.
Make the Kenwood discoverable, scan for it with the phone. Once the phone finds the Kenwood pair with it. When the Kenwood requests PBAP access, click allow ONE TIME ONLY. This is the key. I saw the Kenwood send the request several times. If I confirmed the request more than once, the unit acted flaky. Hopefully this will fix your issue. It did for me!
I will give that a try.
The Kenwood does download the phone book everytime it connects.
Sometimes it says completed very quickly and then the HF fails.
Other times it will neve finish downloading.
Thanks
The vast majority of car stereos that support Bluetooth A2DP are notoriously fickle with it. I went to a Car Toys last July after getting my Droid X, and tested literally about 20 different car stereos with playing music over Bluetooth. Half of them would not even pair, most of the rest had various problems like wouldn't play music or it skipped/cut out a lot, etc. Only three manufacturers had multiple units that worked flawlessly: Pioneer, Clarion and Parrot. I asked one of the guys there if this was normal, and he said yeah, A2DP was very poorly supported in most car stereos but that he knew some of the manufacturers were working on making it better for the next year's models.
This doesn't help you, but even though your wife's iPhone works and your DX doesn't, it's unlikely the problem is with your DX.
Roland,
Thanks for the info. Interesting there are so many problems with car stereos.
I will definitely keep this in mind the next time I buy a car stereo.
One interesting item is I rented a Ford Escape for a week and my Droid X worked flawlessly with the Ford factory stereo.
Go figure. It was the high end factory unit, Sat radio, USB port, Bluetooth all built in.

Bluetooth streaming audio stuttering persists in Android 4.3

Hi fellow xda'ers
I got the 4.3 OTA today for my Nexus 4 and the problem of stuttering bluetooth audio persists for me.
This is in reference to the bug described here: http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=39633
I also unpaired my phone and re-paired it but still facing the same problem.
So, just wanted to ask around...
1. Is anyone still facing this same bluetooth audio bug like me in Android 4.3?
2. Can anyone who had this bug in 4.2.2 confirm that it got resolved for them in Android 4.3?
Thanks..

The issue now is much rarer than it was before.
I guess I need to test it out for a few more days.
Thanks..
Worked fine for me in 4.2.2 .... now in 4.3 LOTS of stutter and occasional drops. Very annoying and probably related to the change of Bluetooth in 4.3 ... hope someone comes up with a fix, otherwise I'll need to go back to 4.2.2 as I use Bluetooth for music lots. Anyone that can help ... ??
I was excited to see that as soon as I upgraded from 4.2.2 to 4.3 my bluetooth streaming worked flawlessly in my car for a 2 hour drive into the mountains. However, a couple days later the stuttering came back, just as you described.
This was the one thing I was looking forward to for 4.3 but it looks like we've been let down.

I'm not really sure, what's happening.
I tried earlier on with Poweramp Player (third party app) and Google Play Music, I had stuttering in both the apps.
Then I decided to unpair the phone/stereo, change the phone name and then re-pair. Just wanted a fresh start..
After that, I had the stuttering problem whenever I used Poweramp player. The problem happens within 5-7 min. However, when I use Google Play Music, it seems to work fine. However, I haven't tested it for long. Maybe 1 hour max, so can't say if my hypothesis is correct but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. After 7 months with this phone, I really need to get Bluetooth working.

I'm in the same boat. But I really am wondering if looking at the software/apps used is the wrong method. I've been doing the same thing. Over the past 7 months I've tried various ROMs, kernels, radios etc. and nothing changes it. I've talked about it with various friends with Nexus 4's and none of them seem to have any issues.
At this point my money is on the Clarion stereo being the issue but I still have not tested the phone with another stereo. This weekend we are visiting my parents. I will try using the phone with the bluetooth on my Mom's 2013 4Runner and my Dad's 2010 F150 to see if I can replicate the problem. If it works with both their cars then I will be in the market for a new stereo.

If N4 continues to have problems with the Clarion stereo, it could be easier for me to sell the N4 and get another phone, unfortunately a non-Nexus one

@sn0warmy
It seems the problem is with our Clarion car stereo indeed. A lot of Clarion stereos have bluetooth issues:
http://www.fixya.com/support/t12082313-bluetooth_audio_streaming_breaks_up
http://community.crutchfield.com/car_audio_and_video/f/27/receivers/t/22006/clarion-cx501-bluetooth
Phones like iPhone 4, Lumia 920 and Moto Razr also seem to have these problems.
My stereo CX501 doesn't have any bluetooth firmware upgrade too. Though, they have provided some firmware update for some other stereos like NX501 and so on. So you should check out on their site for a firmware upgrade.
http://www.clarion.com/us/en/support/compatibility/bluetooth/index.html
I really think you're right. I tried streaming music through my girlfriend's car stereo last night and had absolutely no issues. I've also read the threads you linked to as well as a few others and the consensus is that Clarion keeps trying to pin the blame on the phones and not their receivers. Looks like it's time to change stereos...

You should at least check if there is a firmware upgrade available for you on Clarion's support site before spending on a new stereo.
Unfortunately, it's not available for my stereo CX501.
I have stuttering too on both my A2DP devices. Both are cheap: one is from DX, th eother is from a local 'dollar store' (where it was 10 euro or so).
The one from the dollar store seems to work fine after pairing, but not when connecting again.
The one from DX (z nice plug for the aux in of the car, with a mic and henadsfree speakers through the car audio) seems to stop stuttering after a few minutes. The audio level is a lot better with 4.3.
But no difference in stuttering beween 4.2.2 and 4.3.
Problems remain
I have found no improvement with my Nexus 7 with Android 4.3. I get stuttering every minute or so. I've done a bit of reading and found that Bluetooth is hellishly complex - and would be very difficult to debug. For instance to set up audio streaming, both devices need to agree on a codec to use. There is a default base level codec. As I have found that the issue is worse on some bluetooth receivers than others, I can only guess that the issue relates to Android's selection of a codec or other parameter on some devices. I certainly have no issue with any device streaming from my windows laptop (no matter how busy it is).
I have the exact same issues with bluetooth stuttering.
Using 4.2.2 PACman rom on my Note 2 with a Sony MW600 bluetooth adapter, the audio would switch off for a second every minute or so, whether using Google Play music or PowerAmp, but it seemed to happen less on the former.
Updating to 4.3 has made it worse, the audio now switches off for at least 5 seconds to the point where i have to check if the phone or app has crashed each time.
I never had an issue with the Revolution HD rom (I think its called?) but I believe that's mostly stock?
It kinda feels like the bluetooth can't handle the bandwidth depending on the size of the file. I think there's less stuttering on lower quality files - could just be in my head though.
I have a Galaxy S3 i747 running latest 4.3 CM10 rom. My audio stuttering actually got worse when upgrading from 4.2.2. Using platronics 903+ and a bluetooth stereo unit for my motorycle helmet.
Very disappointed. My work iPhone doesnt skip a beat.

Bluetooth issues

I have 3 main devices that I pair to my phone via bluetooth: watch/lg tone/car
The watch stays paired with no issues, but the watch is having issues swapping from the lg tones to the car and vice versa.
Anyone found a remedy for this?
As of now, I have to go into the bluetooth settings of the one I don't want to use and deselect media/phone, then go to the other and select media/phone. And even sometimes this takes multiple times to work.
My previous phone (gs7) had no issues swapping from the two.
Hi,
Did you get a solution ? I face the same problem and can't find any solution...
Just to clarify, when you are in your car and want to connect to it, the headphones are turned off, correct?
Having similar issues... Every time I try to connect to my car (stock Subaru WRX), I have to manually connect and it takes several attempts before it connects. Once it connects it usually doesn't drop though. Very frustrating...
Another poster resorted to getting a whole new head unit: https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-5/help/sony-xav-ax100-bluetooth-issues-t3634940

It's not in my car but with the bluetooth device of my motorcycle helmet. The reference is ncom bluetooth kit 3. I have to connect it manually and it takes several attempts before it connects. Sometimes it doesn't connect at all....
I have 2 headset Plantronics Backbeat Pro and Plantronics Backbeat Fit. They both work flawlessly
My Huawei Watch also works.
But my Nokia 616 Car kit wont connect at all.
And my motorcycle hemlet bluetooth kit, Cardo scala rider PACKTALK, connects, but the audio is slowed down to about 80 percent?
Same thing here.
I have been facing problems with a Sony SBH52 Headset and with my Opel Corsa E, stock infotainment system.
It gives me a hard time connecting but when it does it's stable.
I had the same with my gen 1 Moto 360 but after a factory reset to the watch and a reboot it's stable.

I had the same issue with my TSX. I did some research and cleared the cache. Worked like a charm afterwards. Did not have the issue one week since doing that

Ahem, I seem to be unable to find bluetooth in my app settings. Can you please give me a hint?
It's been driving me crazy these days with my SBH-52 and I want to try this too.
Thanks!
P.S.
I'll also give it a shot with a plantronics pro headset I have to see if it does the same.
Bluetooth profiles implementations, even though they passed certification, are not always made equal! So don't end up pulling your hair if a certain BT device doesn't play nice with another.
Just as an example... Head Unit X had big issues with the initial contacts sync, right after pairing with Samsung phones (already known to sometimes play around some other standards). It would only work after several reconnects. After several weeks of debugging (poor development guys) and reproduction test (poor testing guys) it was concluded that it is a phone issue caused by some wrong timing delays in the process of exchanging information between the HU and the phone. Samsung was informed and the ticket was internally closed.
I have similar problem with Bluetooth Earbuds. Phone simple doesn't "see" the Earbuds. But strange - it can see other Bluetooth devices and other devices can see Earbuds.
I'm sure this is a OnePlus 5 software problem.
Version OxygenOS 4.5.10
i have somhow issue as urs, i have Bluetooth pad lock and android watch, it sometimes connected and sometimes not, i do believe its software issue, im on 4.5.11
Yes, it is strange. After some restarts and on/offs connection suddenly appears
