Hi, I installed CWM Touch Recovery using Nexus Root Toolkit.
I installed Rom Manager, to manage Backups, but I have to Flash CWM Recovery (which is trange because I already have it installed) it ask me if I want the Touch version, then is ask me to buy it, so I was asking me if Nexus Root Toolkit give you a cracked CWM Touch Recovery ?
Thanks.

You can DL it from the clockworkmod site and flash it via fastboot.
http://www.clockworkmod.com/rommanager
Edit: ROM manager boots a recovery rather than flashing it, so it won't matter what you have installed, it will prompt you to flash a recovery.

Hi, I don't understand your first sentence sorry :/
I resume:
1. Why ROM Manager ask me to install CWM Recovery ? I already installed it using Nexus Root Toolkit.
2. Why ROM Manager ask me to pay to get Touch version ? While I didn't have to pay using Nexus Root Toolkit...
Thanks.

Was your question is if it was free? That's what the link to the ROMmanager site implies, so yes it's free.

See the edit to my first post, it doesn't matter what recovery you have installed, ROM manager will ask you to install a recovery. It's not flashing a recovery, rather than booting from it.
Consider ROM manager asking you to pay for touch a donation I guess. It's completely free, and available from the ROM manager site.

Hello, I followed the root guide in this forum, it was successful, then I tried to change the LCD density to 240 and the mobile refused to boot!!
I am downloading a firmware from sammobile.com but still have no idea how to do it! should I use Odin or Kies?
Switch off your Note 3.
Put it in Download Mode (Home Button + VolDown + Power), then press VolUp to confirm.
Plug USB cable to Note 3 and computer.
Start Odin, on the left, you'll see a yellow square with "Com.xx", that's confirm your Note 3 is recognized by Odin.
Extract the archive you dlded from Sammobile, Samfirmware... You must have now a .tar or .tar.md5 file
Put it in the PDA field of Odin
Press Start
Wait until reboot
:good:
why not just flash a pre rooted rom in the dev section. You already have cwm. Can you get to cwm?
Edit
or do what luminouche says. You'll probably have to root again though. Not a big deal.
Thanks everyone! It is back to life now, but I will probably try again with the Screen Density thing.. I cannot stand the 480dpi
I think its very hard to brick a galaxy phone.

But why such a big change. This isn't the note 2. You went to the dpi you would use for the note 2. Try 340 or 380 instead

mine is stuck on samsung logo after boot. I can still access the cwm recovery.
Anything I can do or I have to flash the rom again. And will I lose my data ?
How does it happened? have you flashed anything?
Any way you can reflash ROM, flashing stock ROM won't erase data.

Try this by using a fat32 micro sdcard.
1. Copy restore to the sd card
2. Insert sd card in phone
3. In CWM flash the restore.
if that doesn't work you will probably have to flash your firmware again.

I think better to have a look to script of estore zip, what restore file does do. bcoz if that packed with some files which is not from this device than it won't work. If previous file which he flashed have script to make backup and restore.zip have script to restore same thing then only it will work.

This is the thread from where I got that animation zip file.
And I rooted by following the steps in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2460720
Yes I am from India. Delhi to be exact. I just don't want to lose data as I spent a lot of time customizing the phone.
Ok good news is that you can restore fom that zip, bad news is you need SD card, if you can manage that then it's easy.
otherwise
If you knoe adb, you can push file with to sdcard with adb command.
OR
simply flash stock ROM, that won't erase your data but you need to reroot.
Do you have internet access on PC?

Tell me more about adb
and where do I get the stocks roms from ? Did a google search but could not find anything
I thought i may help you with adb but i think it will me more complicatd and i have to move now, better i am updating here complete details to flash ROM wait 5 min.
and your device is n900 right?
and do you have samsung driver/kies installed?
Anyway i assume you have driver installed bcoz you have rooted already and if device is N900 then proceed this way.
Download indian ROM
http://www.hotfile.com/dl/247398412/38c8161/N900XXUBMI5_N900ODDBMI3_INU.zip.html
Then extract that to get tar.md5 file and flash with PDA tab of odin (same way you have root device)
if you need any guide you can refer this thread post#1 for installation guide.

Okay I got my phone working. I used adb pusher app , found it on xda. Simple to use.
But now my wifi is not working. Its stuck on turning on.
I did a little searching , the issue was solved by flashing a custom kernel.
Can I do that on a stock rom like mine. And which kernel will work with note 3?
There is no custom kernel available in my knowledge on your device.
Make backup and try wiping device otherwise flash stock rom.
And don't flash any other device component on your, you may soft brick your device.

1. Stock Indian ROM 32GB Version [Credits NHS2008]

2. You Need CWM because this is a cwm backup.

After you have all the files on your pc or phone you need to extract the custom rom on your pc do not use winrar just use windows inbuild unzipper and extract all the files...
Then Install CWM with RASHR
After that Create these folders in your phone clockworkmod/backup/1970-02-28.02.08.01
and put all the extracted files in that folder after that in cwm restore the backup..

Some Updates can't be installed over the b136.
The german b170 (a partial update) needs the b132 or the b133 to upgrade to b170. Directly update from b136 to b170 isn't possible

Could you please be a little more specific?
You mean you downloaded stockrecovery.img form here
Code:
rootjunkysdl.com/files/Huawei%20P8%20Lite/Firmware/stockrecovery.img
? And then you startet the phone in fastboot mode with the command
Code:
adb reboot bootlader
? Last you send the command
Code:
fasboot flash recovery stockrecovery.img
?
I already regret installing TWRP since I can't even try to install further Updates via dload. So I just don't want to make any more mistakes and/or brick the phone.

Yes followed the steps one by one...
Edit: One thing worth mentioning is that I used the update_data.zip from the russian link, when I orignally installed Nougat this was the only file that worked for me.
Edit2: Redid the steps but used the update_data-zip posted by Sillanwali in his thread to update to nougat C432B560 but I get "Error: 7....."
After the step 4, I preconize to reboot the recovery. It's advised after a "Format data".

Make sure you are running unmodified stock firmware. As method above only patch boot img and push superuser files. Do not install decrypted boot img. It need untouched stock boot .
Once you completed the steps and reboot to system. It will normally bootloop twice then you will stuck at huawei logo about 3-5mins.

It's optional step but normally most of my experiments I don't even need to "reboot to recovery" but I will add it as optional step in OP.

It's just not working for me. I was on stock firmware, only unlocked bootloader, I did not install decrypted boot.img.
I left the phone for roughly about 15 min (one Fifa game) in screen, it doesn't get past Huawei logo and I haven't seen it reboot.
Edit: What about the update_full_hw.zip is that not needed after formating data?
Edit2: Tried again but these time rebooting into recovery after formating data as suggested by @franzyroy but it didn't make a difference still bootloop

Yes. That's the file we need to install (update_data_*.zip) at step no. 6

Yes. Doesn't make any difference. That's why I skipped reboot to recovery after format data
