Recent apps

Is it possible to change the way the recent apps are shown? I like how it is on the HTC one but other ways would be nice too

Not impossible, just nobody's done it.

Difficult. It's part of the sense framework, which no one has been able/bothered to port.

U can try it.....if u have gud knowledge of porting, its possible

AOKP had that feature in the past for 4.1. Maybe they will add it to 4.2 aswell.

Auto Rotate

Is there any way to put it into the quick toggles instead of going deep in settings.

The majority of custom roms allow you to do this.

no, its not customizable but can always flash custom roms that allow you to do that

False, you should be able to do it on stock rom as well. Check out Xposed framework and a module called Gravitybox. (Root needed)

Hey,
I use the power toggles app with stock Rom. Let's u pick the settings like dis-/en-abling of the auto rotating in to notification bar. Great app.

Quick Settings is easy enough for me. Enable task bar (without logo) for quick access.

Can't open link's in browser from XDA..

Hi, not sure if ROM related but I can't seem to open any Link's from any xda threads. Browser keeps saying"web page not displayed" so strange.. Any advice. Am on Nexus 4 with Slimkat 5 stable default kernel

The browser can be finicky at times. Are you using Chrome/Chrome Beta/Opera/Firefox/Browser?
Are you on Kitkat?
Try Tapatalk, XDA has much better performance on app versions...

You stated that it happens on "any device" - are all these devices connected to the same wifi network? Most likely could be your wifi connection

mine did that, it was because of ads, use firefox or chrome beta

Sometimes happens for me. I just click refresh and it works.

Are you opening it with tapatalk or what cause it always goes first to tapatalk redirect and with adblocker it doesnt go forward then. I also have sometimes trouble with the website of xda. All websites works good but xda cant load then.

Could be the adblocker. Try white listing Tapatalk domain.

I've found an app so we can live on youtube with this app

I havent decompiled it but there should be a line in android manifest with com.sonydevicerequired=true. Delete this line and it should work
