2nd run 20631 with OC to 1.6ghz no undervolting using pegasusq speedmod governor
your score seems very impressive without any tweaks, well done my friend.

A score of 18750 on a six month old 4.2.2 customized rom is my norm .

Set cpu does CPU and Tegrak does CPU and GPU for gaming but Tegrak cannot be used on all custom kernels (stock and CF Root mainly, not Abyss and FM kernel)
I like tegrak a little better. Especially when I tweaking voltages or playing with different settings. Tegrak runs a little stability check after every boot. if things go wrong it automatically reverts to stock

Scores, as I understand, will vary based in your various settings, like power saver, plus whatever else you may have running. Unless you set a specific baseline (using this rom, this kernel, these settings, only these apps, etc) comparisons are useless.
We know at the end of the day that right now the gn2 is going to hit near the top.

Well then. That's a stock score? If so then I wonder what they did to it.
Edit: I see they have the CPU at 1.5 GHz, and I assume that can be OC'd aswell. And here I thought all the Tab2's where on a level field.

Fully stock, no overclocking whatsoever. In fact, as far as I know, there aren't any custom ROMs for the SGH-i497.
The AT&T version of the Tab 2 has different hardware and is much faster than the wifi-only model (or at least, its benchmark scores are much higher). I did a direct stock comparison between the wifi-only and AT&T Tab 2 models, and I posted a topic on this forum about it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2442685

That's quite good , but for a major part of the world especially where there is no at&t (i live in india ) the p51xx and the p31xx are the only choices you see . And i assume that it cant be unlocked right ? And you cant get any custom roms .. You stick with laggy old touchwiz (no offence samsung ) .So you get some you lose some .. That's life (p.s.- sorry for being the philanthropist )

[Q] [Kernel] Best OC Kernel for KK

Hello XDA!
Atm i am using Omega Rom v12 with Omega kernel but i want to OC my phone and wonder which Kernel that is the best.
SnapKat kernel Rev2.9 (CPU OC 2.88GHz, GPU OC 550MHz)
leanKernel v2.3 (CPU OC 2.72Ghz, No GPU OC)
Custom N3 (CPU OC 2.5ghz, No GPU OC)
So atm i think i will use SnapKat because of the high CPU OC and you can also OC the GPU.
but it seams that LeanKernel is more popular.
So which OC Kernel is the best?
Be first to replay
You have to determine which is best for yourself.

First question to ask yourself is why do you need to OC? Gaming? Benchmarks? because you can?
Second, try them all for at least 3-6 days each and decide which improves your perception on them
Third, you could always compile one and add some mods to it yourself if you're feeling brave

Could you maybe do some research on your own ?
There are just a few kernels, so no need for someone to spoon feed you.
And this thread should be closed, because it's ridiculous.

Mod Edit
"Best" or "Recommend" ROM/kernel threads are not allowed on XDA.
Please test these things for yourself.
This is the only way you will get an unbiased opinion, and then, you can decide for yourself if it meets YOUR needs.
Don't forget to make a nandroid before you start.
