[Q] Question regarding DjeMBeY's Rom

Hi,
i'm just a little confused and wanted to ask you guys a question.
I have an unrooted, out of the box (new) european Note 3 (N9005) and want the
SuperSlim deodexed ROM from DjeMBeY. (Many thx by the way)
My Question is:
Do i have to flash first the prerooted Odex ROM via ODIN, and then install cwm and then flash through CWM the SuperSlim deodexed zip file?
Or can i simply install the CWM and then flash the deodexed zip file without having to flash the prerooted Odex Rom via Odin?
One more thing: In the entry of the Superslim deodexed Rom says that Modem is not included. Do i have to install that afterwards or what or how??!?? or does the modem remain from before ?
Thx in advance for any advice.

Hi, I'm currently using Alliance rom with firmware ang2. Was just wondering if it's safe to flash an updated firmware like ang9 for G900f device. Thanks

If you want to remove root:
- Use Triangle Away to reset the binaries and system status to official
- Unroot from within the superSU app
- Flash the rom with Odin
- Data factory reset
If you want to keep root:
Use Mobile Odin Pro to flash the new rom and keep root. Check inject superSU, Everroot and the other option. After it reboots do a data factory reset (root will stick btw).

No it's not safe nor recommended. If you had done a search you'd find dozens of threads asking and answering this question in existing threads. Accepting an OTA update is likely to break root and sundry custom ROM features.
You should refer to the custom ROM support thread where the developer will either tailor updates for your ROM. Or at least power users will discuss their effect on the ROM and how to best apply an update to your particular ROM.

OP is talking about flashing a full stock rom with Odin as i understand , not about getting or installing OTA`s as he is on a custom rom atm

Simply install any LP ROM with specified instructions. Or if you want to restore pure stock, Relock bootloader and Install the IMG file.

You can use the modded stock rom and flash it from TWRP --------> Modded Lollipop 40.60 Stock Rom (Google Drive Link)
and flash the stock kernel through fastboot before you update to build 40.87 --------> Stock Kernel (note - this will remove the TWRP recoveries, After update you can flash TWRP recoveries back)
Otherwise, you can use this tutorial If you doesn't want to download the files. ( I recommend you to just download the flashable stock rom )
Or you can download and flash any custom stock rom (I prefer cleanstock rom, not to much bloatware)
Good luck

It's simple boot into recovery and make a back up of your stock Rom in case anything goes wrong. Download any custom Rom but make sure you are on the correct modem and bootloader before installing
